Araie Post 12

"Come on, little one. Eziya will keep you safe while I look for your family and try to get them to come back to you. Just stay with her and you'll be fine, okay?" Araie said as she quickly helped the child to the healer's tent. She would have to go out and look for his family, but she could already hear the sounds of battle. She didn't want to leave Eziya alone, but at the same time, the kid needed to be with his family. Things could get brutal around the healers.

"Eziya, watch out for him. I'm going out to look for his family and see what I can do to help. If you need anything, just yell. I promise I'll stay close enough that I'll be able to hear you, okay?" Araie promised as she embraced her friend in a tight hug.

Nkole Post 7

Perhaps a bit annoyed that their alone time was cut so briefly he could sense Teiluj tense in his arms and then as she pulled away he sighed and rubbed the back of his head. Although he couldn't blame the new comer after all tensions were high and here he was just trying to comfort Teiluj. He continued to sit, watching as Teiluj moved about stuttering in her cute way.

"I will stay here, I am not really that much help.." He offered with a sheepish smile, though feeling that perhaps he wasn't good enough for her. There was nothing more he could really do, he couldn't fight he couldn't wield magic. He didn't really know the first thing about tending to wounds despite how often he was around Teiluj. Perhaps he was better just staying out of the way...

Eziya Post 13

"Oh are you sure? I can come with you and assist! Besides, won't it be hard to look for his family if you don't know what they look like?" Eziya questioned, wanting to go with her. Serr had gone off to ambush the Alkidike and now Araie was running off too. She didn't like being left by herself with the Alkidike so close, but she wouldn't complain and cause anyone else problems. If needed she would just stay and protect the young boy.

Dezani Post 13

Raiha was getting restless waiting around for the leaders to discuss. It was hard for the Leaf to keep a hold on the kinfa, and if she kept it up there would be problems. He didn't want her to get hurt, but he also wanted to protect the line like he needed to. Perhaps he should head back, keep close to the healers tents to make sure they were all protected. This was the worst time to be indecisive, but his mind was in several different places all at once.

Kani Post 13

"Well I will just have to try my best to impress you then," Kani chuckled, stepping close to him. "And I'll just have to make sure you are safe so that we can have more dates." She was sure he'd enjoy that. He always liked their "dates." The Alkidike weren't going to take that from them. They'd stop them from pushing forward and keep each other safe. Gael wasn't very trained, but she could watch after the both of them.

Heras Box

Xariy Post 12

Getting tired of the front lines, Xariy began to sneak off into a tree, hoping to get a better view of the lines. She'd find the ambush squads if she could, but she was sure they were all ready to strike by now. She'd just have to go about her own way. Up in the trees she could throw knives and attack without them knowing all day long as long as she was quick enough to get back. If they started to push the line she could get up behind some of them and take them out that way as well.

Gerraden Post 7

As Rishima held out a hand to stop him from proceeding forward he took a deep breath trying to keep himself looking relaxed. It was getting harder and harder though to just stand around and listen to people shout at each other. He was trying to reason with Aselia but it didn't seem like she was willing to listen. In fact she seemed to be getting more and more desperate as she spoke. She sounded to him more like a child seeking acceptance but going about it entirely the wrong way.

He wanted to talk to her, take her aside and let her know that everything was going to be okay. But that wasn't going to be an option, she was too hyped up. She looked like she was going to start the brawl despite the fact she claimed to be attacked first.

Chandra Post 7

The look he gave his brother could only be described as incredulous. That hand that was being offered to him to get up on that Oban creature made him first glare at the hand and then to Maw. He trusted his feet on the ground more than riding any beast, but it would give him a better vantage point...

Sighing it was obvious his internal struggle would be for naught. He wanted nothing more than to turn away and tell his brother off, but he couldn't leave his brother either. That desire to make sure his brother stayed safe was strong, and much stronger than his own stubbornness.

"Alright...but don't expect me to want to do this again." He muttered taking his brothers hand and heaving himself up onto Maw's back. Settling down upon it, he instantly regretted his decision. It felt so bizarre to have a living creature underneath him. Something he couldn't predict nor did he care to try. Without meaning to he clamped both hands on his bothers shoulders feeling as if he could drop off at any moment.

NEIBET POST 7

Taking the chance to reply as Aselia leaned in she murmured, "You are wise beyond your years. She has something else in mind." With that she took a small step backward and held her position as the conversations continued. When Rishima arrived she narrowed her eyes at him. He was an Other and yet he was considered an Alkidike to her, in some ways that was. She continued to listen to the arguments, marking most of them as invalid. Invading the crystal crawlers territories was not something she wanted to do, but would do because it was willed by the Mystic.

And beause the blue crawler leader had kicked them out for simply being there. If they were agressive or voilent it would have been understandable. But they hadn't been. They'd been downright civil towards them, and just thinking about the unfair treatment set her blood boiling. It didn't matter how much earthlings she had to cut down now, so long as Aselia got to see this Firebird creature.

VIRAIN POST 3

At first it had been easy to follow Maha, until suddenly he lost him in the press of bodies, familiars and moving supplies. Groaning in frustration he spun around, completely lost. His orange eyes scanned the faces around him, hands clenching and unclenching until he heard some people gossiping about how the Alkidikes had been kicked out of the camp because some of them were spies. His eyes widened. Spies? In camp? While he wanted to say that the thought was rediciulous he couldnt' be sure. He only knew two Alkidikes and both of them were connected to a wonderful hybrid girl. Unless something happened to Teiluj he doubt Maya or V'demhe would turn traitor like that.

But the longer he stood around the more gossip he heard and the more he realized that he needed to act. Standing around was doing nothing for him, except getting him some suspicious looks. As he turned to go someone caught his elbow. "Hey kid, you a caster? Wonderful! What's your specialty? No, don't answer that. Looking at you, you look like you've got some healing ability right? Wonderful, we need some more help at the healing tents. You can stay there until the fighting starts and help out a bit." The man who'd snagged him was a shifter hybrid of some sort. With his silver hair, yet his skin was a peach color and his and eyes crystals purple. He chattered at him all the while dragging him to where the healers tents were and all but shoved him in.

"Hey! I found another one to help out!"

ILLIAN POST 7

Cerith

Lethrossen

Illian shook his head when asked if he'd found his younger brother. The truth was, he hadn't even found him when he'd gone looking in Oba what seemed like a lifetime again. But if he went by how long time felt as it passed him by, he must look like a decrepit old man. As it was he remained silent and let the conversations flow over and around him. Even though questions and comments were directed towards him he refrained from answering.

Ceriths comment about leaving Incanthis behind in Oba hit a little too close to the truth, and the faint grimmace that pulled at his face showed it. He listened as she spoke with the Matorian male from before, the one that made her uncomfortable. He didn't feel as if it were his place to remind them that he would be out there as well, and that as Jelanii's sister, (Where did he run off to?) he was obligated to keep an eye on her.

He looked over at Istanell and gave him a tight-lipped smile. War was nothing new to them. "Serith watch over you as well brother." He nodded at the runner who told him his own orders, only moments after Istanell left to take his own position. Hefting up his spear he made his way to where the other lancers were gathering.

KDAL POST 7

It was clear, after running a few drills with the rest, that Kdal would be nothing more than a liability. She couldn't fight well and while her reflexes were good, it wouldn't be enough to save her from seasoned warriors determined to kill her. Huffing with dismay (and no small sense of relief) Kdal took the message satchels being handed out to those who decided to still be of some use, even as their other skills were found lacking. She would be stopping by various places as she went, dropping the letters and orders off to people who would take care of the rest.

With one last glance back at the busy camp, Kdal adjusted her bags and set off.

Rayolun post 10 :: Front lines!

Rayolun took the time as he and Lasarra stood at the front to observe the foe. While he could see scarred warriors and veterans on the other side.. it seemed more to him that it was filled with younger fighters... Perhaps this is jsut a bunch of idiot young girls wanting to make a name for themselves? Trying to prove themselves? it was possible.. just a stupid thing to do. Only going to make people hate them.

"We shifters had to be killed and driven from out lands when they first invaded... why do they think any other tribe will simply hand over lands that they live on?" he sighed and shook his head. "At least it gives us more time to prepare...."

Serr: WE ATTACK! Bandits take targets that aren't paying attention. .and guess who's not paying attention to what's hiding BEHIND them? 8D

Suhuba
Talin's lil group is attacking.... just so you can have fun in your npc post. They are not ... directly attacking the main Alk force, instead focsuing on the last groups to arrive, killing the stragglers and trying to startle the Alks and split their attention.

Talin post 11 :: On the Alkidike side of the battlefield ambushing the last arriving ExtremistsUser Image
The min army had gathered.. but stragglers were still arriving on both sides.. and both sides were focused on each other. Perfect. He thought with a grin as he hand came own.
It was time to start killing!
He and his small band did not yell as they attacked; the merely charged, threw daggers, and shot their bows in silence, aiming to kill a few then vanish before the main group could react. Tlain charged with the few other melees, his closer position getting him to his prey with only a few steps. He was inside the startled young alkidikes spear range before she could do more than turn and try to call out. Talin's dagger ripped across her throat; halting her cry and turning it into a gurgling cough as he jumped away and towards another target.

"Get one or two and then vanish.... Pick your targets with care and don't bite off too much!"

Mynshaka chuckled; "All the more reason not to fear... If the Obans weren't soundly defeated in combat... than Ah doubt any one tribe will be able to hold off this many." He knew only of the Oban prowess. he had never actually seen the rest of Tendjai till today and had no idea how they fought or how well.. he only knew rumors. Decent fighters, the rumors said, but not as coordinated as the Obans. Of course, his people had no trained army either! But they were not the main fighting force here, so he wasn't too worried about that.
"Ah'll stay nearby... Ah've got good reach and speed with mah lance and Oltia so if ye need help call out.. or iffn Ah need it Ah'll come running to ye." He chuckled, his nervousness fading away, replaced by eagerness. How would he far in this fight?

Araie Post 13

Araie bit her lip, her hand reaching down to trace the runes she kept safely in her pouch. She knew Eziya was worried and that she needed to stay close just in case something happened and the healers were put in danger, but at the same time, there were so many other things that needed to be done. Why did the Alkidikes have to attack now of all times? She was worried about Eziya and Dezani and the child and she couldn't be with all of them and help them all at once. It was enough to make her want to cry in frustration.

"No, I...I think I'll stay here. At least for the moment. I'm really worried about what's going on at the front lines, but I know that you guys need help as well. I shouldn't run off impatiently and put even more people at risk. Besides, Eziya, people need you here where they know they can find you. If the battle gets bad, healers are going to be desperately needed and you're very good at your job."

Sanele Post 8 :: With the soldiers of the ObanMatori camp
User Image

Sanele noticed the anger in the stranger on Nuri's other side; anger at the shifter... maybe he fought in the last war and is still hurting from it? Or perhaps the annoyance of some youngster letting his animals run wild about the place pissed him off more than it did her... Kids need to be trained before they can train animals... if one was wild, you'd never get wild animals to be truly trained.. just slightly controlled wild beasts who barely angered your orders!

She put her hand on Simb's shoulder and felt his eagerness. He was an older Xaraan.. and not one to fear battle. I should take is lead in this, guard him while he does hte attacking, she thought. That would work better since she had no real knowledge of true combat.

Vollerei post 11 Standing with the NON extremists alkidikes on the front lines
User Image

Vollrei chuckled darkly; "What ill come will come. Though as much as it galls me to say this; they won't win. Our people are strong.. when we fight together/ They do not have all of the Sisters there.. and they are facing not one tribe but many. Earthlings have strength. Different than ours, but still strong. I have no doubt how this will end.. Many will die and be wounded... but the outcome? I fear our angry hot headed sisters are about to be killed. I came here to show that not all Alkidikes are conquering, bloodthirty, idiots who think the world belongs to them.. hopefully it will mitgate the hatred that will be aimed our way... If it does, even just the smallest amount... I will consider this worth it... even if I must kill my Sisters."

She patted the younger woman's shoulder. "I suppose I am lucky. My daughter, mate, and family are all back on the Islands. I suggest you avoid anyone who looks like them so you do not have to kill family.. tis bad enough we must kill Sisters." How torn up must some family's be? Or individuals who chose the side of reason over the anger of their Sisters and must now fight for that? She hated this whole thing.....
She watched as Sisters called out to each other, trying to encourage.. some walking over to try and talk more sense into the idiots who had come to invade.

"Why bother? Words have already failed.... If the didn't listen to us on Chibale.. why would they listen out here?" She muttered softly. Perhaps they had to try, if only to ease the feeling of guilt, of standing against their Sisters. She had already come to terms with that; this was the right thing to do.. even though the pain broke her heart.

Zumei Post 12

Zumei was pleased that she had decided on what she wanted to do, and now she would be able to put it into action. Now they just had to get out of everything alive. Her main fear was that she or Eije would get hurt in the battle and not be able to continue with their training, but she could hope for the best, right? Things were sure to get out of hand, but it wouldn't be as bad as long as the leaders commanded their troops. She had faith in all of them, and just knew they'd win the day!

serr post eleven

Serr had known gangs and seen what thinking in groups did to people. He didn't agree with these extremists, but much like how he had punished Jyn, he'd rather they live with their failure than die thinking they were right. At least until they got up to the heavy hitters. Then they could die all they liked.

He darted from the brush after Talin did, slashing ankles, piercing sides, and harvesting antennae, leaving the women incapacitated, doubled over in pain, but alive.

Aseara - Post #13

Aseara had no idea what her stitching skills were like much less if she could stomach such a thing. Nor did she have any siblings to have taken care of like she did; it felt like she’d missed out on a lot of things growing up. Ah well, too late now. “I can manage a wrap.” She wrapped the feet of some of the other dancers when they got injured, surely it was the same thing? “I’ll leave stitching to someone else though. I don’t have much experience with that kind of thing.” Aseara didn’t want to mess it up either.

Karothdra - Post #13

It was like a tiny part of Karothdra wanted to shout “fight, fight fight!” So someone would at least throw the first punch or arrow or clash of swords. At least something to get this going. If they’d come here for no reason, Karothdra was going to be pissed. Maybe their side ought to throw the first punch or something, get the ball rolling. “And the sooner we can go back home.” She commented to Nuri. At this point, she thought she would have been better off simply staying home. “I just hope this isn’t all for nothing. It would be disappointing.”
