Eiji "Gin" Mishima  "It's you...I finally found you. You killed my father! You took my wife. But I finally caught you...street gang leader and potential mafioso Megrez Bud! You thought that I'd never be able to get through your legion of chalkboard hating demons...you tried to kill Makoto! You tried to kill Hatsu! You tried to kill ME!? Well, today it ends." Wind blew through the streets, as a tumbleweed rolled past the two of them. Gin pulled a revolver he'd taken from one of his suicidal grunts, and slid it across the ground towards Megrez Bud's feet...er...hovery area, and motioned for it to pick it up. "Lets settle this, the old fashion way." A few moments passed, and the Bud simply hovered there...menacingly...silently...and then Gin remembered that it didn't actually have hands, and he probably should have remembered that. A neck for gold chains? ...no, not that actually, either. A mouth for it's one gold tooth? Not a chance. In fact in retrospect, nothing about it's drive-by made sense, from the fact that it couldn't drive a car, to the odds that it would have a posse of chalkboard hating demons who didn't want Gin to tell Sako that she had a nice butt.
But it didn't matter...they were going to settle things, one way or the other. "When the clock strikes noon, we dance." The Bud glanced over at the clock, which was nearing around 3 A.M.ish. This...could take a while. But Gin didn't blink, staring the Bud down. Waiting for the clock to strike, and the gong to sound, so that the two could settle things. He waited...and waited...and the two sat down to play cards for a while, while they waited...and finally, the time came. "I'm sorry about this Buddy the Bud. Over these last 9 hours I've gotten to know you deeply. We shared stories, and I even met your family when we had that meal together. I now understand you're only a product of your situation, but...a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do. -sniff- I'm not crying." He looked that damnedable bud in the eye, and he knew that it felt the same way. A single tear rolled down it's ice cream cone shaped face, and yet the clock wouldn't stop ticking. Tick, tock, tick, tock.
And finally...the moment came. A single gong, and Gin drew. His fingers danced across the keyboard, and his demon appeared in a flash. The ground began to rumble, but he was first! Out shot a Megadolaon...and down went the body of Buddy the Megrez Bud, falling to the floor in a heap, as helpless as the day it'd been born shot off from the main body in order to create earthquakes that destroyed mankind. Out ran little Megrez Jr., and Mrs. Megrez, but even as they knelt by his side Gin knew it was too late. The life had already left him. Some brave hero, somewhere, had finished the Core...and also, ended a family. Damn them to hell. "Don't worry, Buddy. I'll carry on your will, and eradicate every damn one of those damn dirty apes. As for your family...I'll look after them."
Gin waited for a nod, but it never came. All that came afterwards was an emptiness...

 "Hard Luck" Hatsu Harima, the Heartbreak Kid"Aa, I'll stand my ground...I'll help you."Another morning had come, and late last night the threat of the Megrez Buds had been thwarted...though there was another day, another Septentrione yet to come. All of the people in the shelter were hanging on, still fighting to survive in this ruined world...but every day that a threat was defeated an even worse one came to take its place. Hatsu awakened to rumors of strange spores throughout the city which exploded and were killing people slowly...some kind of a toxin...and when he'd asked some of the people in the shelter that he knew were aligned with Ronaldo's revolution, they had told him that the Septentrione's name was Alioth. It was an airborne enemy...how would he be able to fight against an enemy like that?
"Aa...Po, check the gate," the university student ordered the Ogre to do a little check of the gate and make sure that at least for now, the shelter was safe. The time was upon them, though...they had a choice to make. People were dying...JPs and the survivors were at odds...a fight was coming and even someone as simple as Hatsu knew that they were going to have to take sides in the end. Fortunately, he had already made his decision. "I hope the others are all right..." he thought under his breath, knowing that once Seika was up they would have to get out there and get back into the fight. Nix Gallen Nix stopped in what was the remains of the Paulowina Mall. It saddened her to see it in such a state, especially when she had such fond memories here. Then someone suddenly appeared before her, someone she had seen before. "Hello there, Shining one." The sudden appearance startled her but seeing the familiar face helped her relax somewhat. "Shining One..? Oh! I met you earlier." "Indeed. Permit me the chance to introduce myself, now that we are face to face. You may call me...the Anguished One...Nix Gallen" He knew her name? Part of her was curious to ask as to how he knew that but seeing his suddenly appear like that meant he wasn't exactly human. "The Anguished One? Um. P-Pleasure to meet you." "Indeed...Though, the pleasure is mine. I have long since watched your kind....Humanity. And, I have always wondered about it's Potential....A potential that You were able to demonstrate to me during your ordeal yesterday." As he spoke, the man slightly floated above the ground. Along with his words, he proved he really wasn't human at all. He was some manner of.. entity.
"You've been watching all of us..? Do you know what's going on then?" "Indeed...I know what is going on...More than even Yamato Hotsuin of JPs.... It pains me to be unable to assist you any more than I have already. But, without hardships, mankind can not truly rise. and grow...Much like how you have." Nix couldn't help but give a small smile, with a hint of sorrow. To get praise like that.. She felt like she didn't deserve it. " I do appreciate your help so far, Anguished One.. Nix Gallen While Nix was searching for the other limb of Alioth, she was suddenly called to base by JPs. They said she was needed for an urgent matter so she complied and went to meet them. Though the supposed urgent matter was dancing for Shiva, the God of Destruction. They wanted her to dance for a god? What gave them the impression that she was a dancer of any kind? After a lot of guilt tripping and reassurance that no one would see, she decided to give it a try. The silverette decided to try a simple and graceful dance for now. "Hard Luck" Hatsu Harima, the Heartbreak Kid"Aa, I'll stand my ground...I'll help you."Now the pieces were coming together...why the spores exploded but didn't explode, why the people were dying slowly all around it, why the people were saying to stay away if you saw one. Hatsu hadn't had time to figure all of this out before the first Spore of Alioth had fallen not far from the outside of the shelter, and while he had safely evacuated the people from around it, he himself had been curious...he thought his demons would shield him...
...Instead, the toxin had caught him right on the edge of its range and now he knew...it was some kind of poison, clouding his mind, numbing his body...it was dangerous, choking...idly, he thought of Seika as things began to go darker... Sano Gallen  Sano hurried through Iwatodai, looking for the unfortunate soul in the video. Then he saw it, the spore filling the air with toxic smoke. He rushed into the thick of it to drag Hatsu out of it, throwing him across the ground in anger. That stunt almost got him killed as well! "Listen here you moron! You just standing there almost got me killed while I tried to save your worthless life! So remember this. You owe me. Don't you forget it. I have better things to do then to risk my life like some hero!" Sheesh. All he wanted was a pawn to use later and he almost died. Why did 'heroes' do stupid s**t like this? Made no sense at all. "Hard Luck" Hatsu Harima, the Heartbreak Kid"Aa, I'll stand my ground...I'll help you."His mind was hazy when the force of something unidentifiable to him managed to pull him out of the toxic cloud and tossed him to the ground to safety, his body hitting and rolling up to a knee where he struggled to open an eye...his motor functions slowly returning to him as his mind began to clear. He didn't really hear clearly what his savior had been saying, but there was something about not doing something again, about owing him something...the SEES-2 member couldn't help but nod faintly, his lip curling into a small, grateful smile though he couldn't yet manage to speak to give voice to that gratitude.
'Aa...what a nice guy...' he thought to himself, even if the guy couldn't hear it to know what he had been thinking. And it was a few moments later that another voice filled the air, this one audible...a laid back voice that came after a rather lazy-sounding song getting closer and closer. "Ma-ha-haaaan~you look like you've had it rough, Hatsu. These Alioth things are pret-ty dangerous. Got to keep an eye on the skies, right?" the man called Joe laughed uneasily to himself as he helped Hatsu stand from his knee and steady himself again, "Come on, let's get you back to the shelter. "Hard Luck" Hatsu Harima, the Heartbreak Kid"Aa, I'll stand my ground...I'll help you."En route to the shelter, the two had run into a spot of trouble, but once he had recovered enough, Hatsu had managed to put down the rioters who had been trying to steal from the civilians of the shelter without too much trouble thanks to Maha and Po's combined attack. Joe was gone now...and the shelter was still relatively peaceful, the Spores having only landed in sparse areas and cleared up after a time, no fatalities reported to date thanks to the organization of Ronaldo's people keeping them clear of the drop zones. This was working...for now. The student wished that Ronaldo had been around to talk to, but Alioth was running everyone ragged this early in the day. And there were big, important things yet on the horizon, he was sure...
"Aa...we need to secure the shelter again, in case the demons get in," he thought to himself as he considered the best way to keep the people safe for now. Their enemies were getting stronger on every front. But if they kept trying...kept fighting...maybe, just maybe, they would still all manage to survive? ...This was a strange rumor. But talking to some of the people who were close to Ronaldo and had been looking into JPs activities that were staying in the shelter, it seemed as though they were planning something to take the huge Septentrione out of the sky in one fell swoop and allow humans to defeat it! The only thing they had to do was act sexy for some demon called 'Kama', and others would have to dance to please a demon called 'Shiva'? His eyebrow raised faintly, but at the same time, if that was all it took to save the city today he was more than willing to do his part. It made even Hatsu a bit skeptical, but he had no reason to believe they were lying...they were reliable sources...did JPs really think this would help?
He had never danced before...but he knew a few dances by heart. An alone moment had finally come to him as the friends of Ronaldo left, leaving him in a remote corner of the park with no one watching. ...How did that old dance go? He was sure he could do it...though doing it well...well, what could it hurt?
"Aa..." he began, raising his hands high above his head, "Why? Emcee...Yay?"

Nix Gallen Nix headed back to the Paulownia Mall only to see a Alioth Spore take root there. She had to dispose of it before its toxins took any more innocent lives. The terrified screams of nearby citizens drove her to take it on immediately, cutting it down. Luckily she managed to defeat it before it was able to spew it's poison. "No toxin was released so.. Nix Gallen Nix was writing down information on the direction of the leg of Alioth located in Iwatodai when she felt a wave of nausea come over her. Whatever was ailing her wasn't getting any better even with her trying to work through it. While her guard was dropped, a Alioth Spore cascaded down towards her. Before it could harm the silverette, Botis appeared to protect her with Shield-All. She was grateful for the demons assistance and made sure to tell it as such. ".. Nix Gallen After they assured Nix she wouldn't have to dance again.. They brought her back to do just that. She couldn't say no since the world was at stake and Shiva was part of the plan to defeat Alioth. The downside was that after another successful dance, she felt even worse. Dancing was exhausting even if it was a slow one since it required a lot of concentration.. Quote: Acquired 11 tokens!
