"This actually doesn't seem all that bad honestly.." Stryke moved up to the competition booth, and while nervous to be on center stage, and not exactly comfortable he was determined to make the best of it. Starting with five dishes, he prepared several types of noodle dishes. All this food around him smelled pretty damn good he had to admit.

Whipping her head around she saw an adult, way too old to be playing these kind of games, streaking out with the flag held in one hand. Moving swiftly back to un-zoned, she prepared herself to jump in his way.

After successfully creating five honey grubloaves, the young tealblood's confidence heightened a bit. Maybe...I can pull off doing six this time..Maybe not... I don't want to burn down the kitchen. She thought to herself as she moved the five aside and began to work on another five as cautiously as possible.

Alright, even if he felt like he was rushing which in it's self was frustrating he actually had managed to get all his dishes in before. Upping the anti, he went for making an extra dish on top of what he'd done before. Six was a lot to manage, especially when he could barely reach some of the materials on the counter. Stretching his arms he grunted in dismay as he went about making his grubloaf.

The large bird had just taken it to its home, after all - now it was time for Alifax to claim it for red. They'd get so many beetles from this if they did well, he reminded himself. He grabbed for it, only to be headed off by that orangeblood again. He narrowed her eyes at her and looked for another route in.

"um..excuse me. but could i pleassse have a stool?" Stryke turned to one of the judges, frustrated and tired of reaching for everything in this show kitchen. He had rice boiling, and a sauce going to top it. Mm all this food made the kid hungry, especially as he dished up the six plates. Wiping his brow he appraised what he'd managed to come up with, not bad! He was really moving along with all of these dishes. In reality the little yellowblood just wanted to make his team proud.

"this will have to do..." Since he intended to cook a protein with this dish, he scaled back the amount. There was no sense in burning his food; he really didn't want to serve anyone charred food. With his giant oven mittens on the kid looked rather silly, but he didn't seem to notice as he worked on his chicken dishes. A determined stubborn set to his jaw was the only response he could muster as he went about his business ignoring those around him.

Quietly pleased with herself, Eilidh set aside her next batch of successful Honey Grubloaf. She knew others had done better already, she knew what had to be done. She had to make bigger batches if she wanted to win! However, that gave a bigger risk of forgetting a grubloaf in the oven and lighting everything on fire! With a worried lip nibble, the tealblood started making a new batch.. only adding in one extra as to not overwhelm her.

Blindsided, she collided with the other seadweller and landed in a heap on the sand. Struggling to get upright, it took her a few seconds before she was back on her feet. "Hey --- " Turning, she bit her complaint back. Best not to divide the team with bickering.

Stryke slid his oven protection off, quickly pulling his long hair back into a bun. It kept flicking and swooshing around in his face when he'd whip around and it was beginning to drive him insane. Unsure what to make this time, he decided to go with a six serving potato dish.
"how about thisss?" He pursed his lips in consideration, before prepping his station and rushing to work. Who didn't potatoes they were delicious after-all, he would just have to make them the best he could.

Oh my! I pulled it off! She thought to herself. Her confidence was building up and her excitement wasn't far behind. She quietly calmed herself, inhaling then exhaling air. She didn't want to get too ahead of herself, she just wanted to have fun. With a small stretch, Eilidh started on another batch of six.
