MORE SLEEP. She could sleep on the job. Thank Jack Imbere had dropped the rest of the duties on Luce. She was tiiiiredd. Sadly she ripped the ticket again. What a drag.

Zar felt more than a little relief at the fact that the ghoul intended no harm to those present and almost immediately warmed to her,. He was always a litlte jaded about the intentions of others and fully expected a large population of the student body to be vindictive purely for the sake of it. He considered it in some ways crossing business and pleasure, certainly it was in their nature to be cruel to the humans, or at least scary to them, but that did not mean that they needed to treat their fellow halloween denizens the same way. Any feedback that the ghoul might have received from Zar over the brief link would have mirrored this delight and friendliness tinged with a hint of curiosity, after all, he was just a trifle biased towards creatures that dealt in sleep and dreams. Barth had taught him a lot and anything that had Barth's attention in turn held his.
"Ah you are running a booth of your own? What sort of booth is it if you don't mind my asking? I should stop by perhaps, I have not had time to leave this booth as yet, between disputes with friends over pillow placement etcetera." he rubbed his jaw pointedly at this. "I am indeed having a lovely time regardless though."
He waved a hand dismissively. "And not at all, no need to move along you can rest here as long as you wish, it is what it is for after all, not just sleep but a safe place to rest alongside others."

Shiki smiled and settled into a fluffy pillow to rest. He had already tried to get another ticket of course. He wondered idly if there was a way to get another nap treat.

Lumi felt refreshed after that small nap she took, but wasn't sure if she was going to be able to do much else unless she left the tent so before leaving she pulled on the ticket dispenser once again. Pulling gently she was able to get another ticket. She now had two yay. But yawning slightly she wondered if taking another nap would be better then going around for more tickets. Lute was back to try again, it had to be easier than she was making it, so this time she made she to go nice and sloooow as she pulled the ticket. Luckily, it came off clean this time.

Barth had called the demon boil over, asked him to check on someone else, and Siddie tilted her head a little; he must be helping staff the booth after all. Well, she'd talk to him some other time. The curl of his tail across Barth's lap was comfortably intimate, and Siddie found a spark of jealousy lighting in her. She shook her head, confused. What was wrong with her? She'd never had any interest in Barth beyond friendship, and she still didn't; something was strange. She picked her way back out of the pillowed area and back to the table at the front. "I think I'll go and see some more booths," she said to Barth. "I'd like to talk to you later, after the carnival sometime." Not enough time or privacy to have that discussion now, and not when she felt weird about this. She plucked a ticket from the roll. This time, it came off intact, and she smiled brightly. Slaughter had somehow gotten lost in the pillows for quite some time. Finally snapping out of it, he got back to his feet and decided to try his hand at ticket theft again. He lowered his hood down and shuffled at the roll. He reached and - sadly, he ripped this one too. He lowered his hood again to pout at the wasted scrap of paper.
He had completely forgotten that he was attempting to snatch tickets he thought he shouldn't be as he walked right up to the persons he presumed ran the booth.
"I think they gave you guys defective tickets," he offered the demon that seemed to be more mobile(Zar) the half-a-ticket.
Baneful Slaughter says u guys got so jipped

Zar was interrupted in his conversation but did not look even slightly upset about this, giving the strange and unfamiliar looking boil a playful smirk for his comment as he took the torn ticket and eyed it closely. "They seem to be working just as intended, too much effort and you will end up with less ticket than you hoped for."
He offered it back again. "No doubt you will get it at some point."

Slaw took the ticket back and scratched his head while squinting at it. "So you're sayin' I'm too strong?" He suddenly seemed to notice something and startled just a bit before crouching slightly and making a motion like he was going to walk behind Zar while looking at him.

Zar gave the boil a distinctly concerned look as he moved, not sure what to make of him. He curled his tail at his feet defensively and folded his wings a little tighter. "Erm. Can I help you?" he asked.
