Lusine picked up the flower crown and tossed it at the peg, hardly daring to look where it landed. It was just as well, the crown landed on the ground far away from the peg.

Accepting another crown from the booth ghoul, Lou tossed it underhanded at the peg. Not even close. It really wasn't that hard, was it?

Aureole really thought this game looked like fun! And the flower crowns looks so beautiful. She hadn't had the best of luck with aiming but she was determined to change that! And it paid off! She was a little sad that she didn't get a flower crown but she could always try making her own later on. After leaving the booth with such haste, he hadn't been able to stop thinking about it. He wanted a damned flower crown, and he wasn't going to stop until he had one.
Back at his booth, Brenley grabbed a few more loose scarves and a hooded cloak, despite the warm weather, and headed back to Llyr and Pachua's booth, wrapped up as tightly as a Famine scavenger. He threw the flower crown. He missed

Taking a deep breath, he tossed a second crown, trying to turn his wrist in a different direction somehow. The crown landed in the same spot.

She flung her third crown much like a boomerang, but unlike a boomerang it didn't come back. Nor did it land anywhere near the peg she'd been aiming at.

Thinking he only got three chances to win based on past experience, Bren started to walk away, only to be offered another crown. He hesitated, then meeting no resistance, threw it at the peg.

Maybe she hadn't had the right flick of the wrist on the boomerang throw. She tried it again, and the crown went sailing over everyone's head and off into the distance. Maybe that wasn't a good way to throw these things.

Hesitating again, Bren waited until he had been holding the next crown for a while before he threw it, failing to aim it at anything as he did so.

Lou tossed her crown dejectedly in the direction of the peg. It came the closest yet. The boil running the booth handed her a ticket and waved her away, kindly. Probably worried she was going to hit someone with a crown sooner or latter.

Another failed throw.
Bren was beginning to think these crowns might have been spelled to prevent them from landing on the peg at all. In addition, he was starting to get nervous. Surely he would be found out soon.
