 ╔═════════════❦ ═════════════╗ "Sounds good to me." Nick looked down at the towel when she told him to put on some pants, pressing his lips together as he shook his head. "I think I'm good." The towel may have been riding low but it felt snug around his waist. Wouldn't be falling off any time soon. When she have him instructions, Nick grabbed a knife from the drawer and peeled skin of the cucumber into the garbage can and then retrieved a cutting board from one of the cupboards. He stood beside Kate and began to slice and dice the cucumber into thin slices. He would do the tomatoes after. Nick sliced fast and every couple seconds popped a piece into his mouth, loving the taste of fresh cucumber. It was so juicy and sweet.╚═════════════❦ ═════════════╝

  While the water were getting warm,Kate started to make the sauce.Of course she wasn't happy that Nick didn't listen to her but she just hoped that the towel will stay there,after all she doesn't want to see him naked. She grabbed a few tomatoes and washed them before she started peeling the skin of the tomatoes.She grabbed a small pot and used all the ingredients she needed.Kate spilled the sauce into the pot and waited for it to get warm,she leaned her back against the counter as she watched Nick.Noticing that he was eating the cucumber,she slapped his hand gently and shook her head."The food will be ready soon,so wait a little bit. Here let me help you." Kate said as she grabbed the tomatoes and started to cut them,standing next to Nick as she cut it carefuly.

 ╔═════════════❦ ═════════════╗ Nicholas quickly retracted his hand when it was slapped and pressed his lips together to refrain from laughing, the corners of his mouth quirking up. "Fine.." he said seriously, continuing to chop up the cucumbers. Nick bumped his hip against hers as they stood there side by side, looking down at her from the corner of his eye. Yeah, he was testing her. The man smirked and used the flat of the knife to compile the little pieces of cucumber and began to slice up another tomato, his arm flexing as he did so. The brunette gave her hip a little bump with his again, playing with her. She wanted the old playful and annoying Nick back, well, she got it.╚═════════════❦ ═════════════╝

While Kate was cutting a tomato,she could feel how Nick bumped his hip against her.She raised her head up to look at him with a smile before laughing a little,finally the old Nick was back. Well at least he seemed much more happier than before.After the second bump Kate smirked and bumped her hip against his."The happy Nick is back!" She called with a big smile on her face befor she moved to the pot to check the scause.Kate grabbed a spoon then placed some sauce on the spoon,after that she blew on the spoon so it won't be hot."Here taste it." She said as she reached the spoon to his mouth,waiting for him to taste it.

╔═════════════❦ ═════════════╗ Nick chuckled upon hearing Kate call out like that and bumped her hip again, this time really smiling. "Oh, I love being the taste tester." Eagerly, Nick bent down and took the spoon into his mouth and then pulled away, letting the hot sauce sit on his tongue for a few seconds as he nodded his head. He furrowed his brows as he swallowed. There was so much flavour and he enjoyed the faint spiciness of the aftertaste. "Delicious, but needs some salt." Nick smiled warmly at the girl, continuing to slice and dice the large red tomato. He was enjoying himself, just hanging out with her and talking and having fun. Last time he hung around a woman strictly as friends was when he and Jamie were still together, before she started cheating on him.╚═════════════❦ ═════════════╝

Kate watched Nick when he tasted the sauce from the spoon,she really hoped that it will taste delicious."Alright some salt." She nodded her head then looked at the spoon,there was a few sauce left so she quicly put the spoon on Nick's nose then pulled away.Some of the sauce was left on his nose but Kate stayed silent and went to the pot to addd a little more salt.

╔═════════════❦ ═════════════╗ Nick narrowed his eyes at Kate playfully when his nose was tapped with the spoon. The sauce began to dribble off the tip so he grabbed a hand towel from the stove and wiped it off. "Troublemaker." Nicholas set down the knife and winked playfully before turning around and walking toward his room. From where she was standing, she had the perfect view of his doorway. The man walked in and closed his door over and then changed quickly into a pair of dark blue jeans that rode low on his hips, his feet and upper body bare with the exception of a simple silver cross necklace that hung around his neck. He stood in his doorway, feet shoulder length apart, and looked at the blonde with his man boobs cupped in his large hands. "Am I allowed to go shirtless or would that be too exposing for your virgin eyes?" He half mocked-half teased, lips curling up into a charming smirk that made his blue eyes twinkle. ╚═════════════❦ ═════════════╝

Kate smirked when he called her a troublermaker,she stuck her tongue at Nick then watched how he walked int his room.She could see everything so when he took off the towel,Kate quickly turned back around and placed a little bit of salt.After that she placed the salt back into the cupboard ,she placed the pasta into the other pot and mixed it a little bit.When Nick spoke to her,Kate turned around to look at him. He was standing in the door way,cupping his chest and teased her.Kate couldn't help but stare at his body before looking away."I don't care." She shrugged her shoulders,of course Nick looked hot like this and to tell the truth..it even distracts her from time to time.

╔═════════════❦ ═════════════╗ Nicholas noticed the way she looked at him and it really wasn't surprising. He had caught her looking at him suggestively on numerous other occasions yet he kept his mouth shut because he didn't want to embarrass her. "Suit yourself, Katie-Cakes." He gave a shrug of his broad shoulders and then turned back to his dresser, taking out a white sleeveless undershirt that was rather tight around his torso area. With his hands stuck into his pockets, Nick walked back out into the kitchen and slid onto the counter next to Kate, leaning back on his hands as he watched her cook dinner. He didn't know what else he could help with at present, so he would just wait for her to give him orders.╚═════════════❦ ═════════════╝

Her face turned slightly pink when Nick told her to suit herself,well tha was embarrassing. Seriously,she had to stop staring at him.Maybe it made him feel uncomfortable. Kate just turned around and mixed the pasta again,after that she moved to the counter and cut a few more vegetables."Now you can just sit." Kate said as she glanced at Nick for a moment before she placed all the vegetables into a bowl,she also added some salt then placed the bowl on the table."The salad it ready,we need to wait for the pasta now." Kate leaned against the counter,crossing her hands under her chest.

╔═════════════❦ ═════════════╗ Nick nodded his head, lips pressed together as he continued to watch her prepare dinner. Damn, he needed her over here more often. Nick scarcely cooked himself dinner though when he did, he stuck with the basics: Kraft Dinner and hotdogs. He sat there in silence, looking up at the ceiling up until the song "Call and Answer" by the Barenaked Ladies began to play. "Ooo.." Nick looked over at Kate with a raised eyebrow, grinning his dimple-showing grin as he slid off the counter. "You should dance with me because this is my favourite song," he said softly in that husky voice of his. He motioned for her to come closer with his forefinger, for once smiling calmly at the girl.╚═════════════❦ ═════════════╝

The two stayed silent for a few moments,the pasta would be ready in a few more minutes so they could just sit and wait until it will be ready.Another song started to play,this time is was a slow and relaxing song. Kate raised her head when Nick told her that she should dance with him because it's his favourite song."Fine fine." She laughed a little as she moved forward then gently wrapped her arms around his neck,moving with Nick.

╔═════════════❦ ═════════════╗ Nick's smile broadened when Kate decided to dance with him. She moved closer to him and wrapped her frail arms around his neck, having to tilt her head back to look up at him. He curled his arms around her waist in response and pulled her gently against his body, smiling warmly as his gaze shifted between her beautiful blue eyes. "I am the luckiest guy in the world right now," he spoke in a low tone. Here he was, dancing with a wonderful beautiful girl to his favourite song. Not many guys had the opportunity do this. In a way, he almost felt special.╚═════════════❦ ═════════════╝

Kate raised her head to look into his charming blue eyes,a smile appeared upon her face as they slowly started to dance. Kate tilted her head with a confused smile."Really? Why?" She asked,looking into his eyes.Kate danced happily with Nick. She knew that he wasn't a bad guy,well sometimes he is but he still has a soft side and it makes him cute.

Nonetheless, he just continued to smile lovingly at her as they swayed to the slow rhythm of the song. "Because I'm dancing with a beautiful amazing girl to my all time favourite song," he replied honestly. "And let's be honest, not many guys can say they've done this," he added with a smirk. Nicholas kept one arm curled around her waist, his other hand slowly beginning to trail up and down the arch of her back.╚═════════════❦ ═════════════╝
