"They have nothing to lose by believing him to they quickly take him down. He is as unresisting as the any plant was. Wild Sage was killed bloodlessly and when he was still, the creatures went to sleep. When they woke, they found that none of them had died.
The predators were dead. The prey had survived, yet they found their victory bitter and unsatisfactory. Many of them felt uneasy for they had as much blood staining their names as the predators had. Still, they were alive and they had to go on living, until, perhaps predators found them once more."
She nodded at the group, frowning at Wild Sage in particular, before rising. She slunk down from her perch and gave an irritated toss of her head.
"Congratulations," she said, though she hardly sounded happy. Obviously she found their victory cheaply won.

Relief swept over her and Fly laughed. She had gotten a little too emotionally involved than she would have liked. It was amazing how the game had held her focus but now that it was done, the doe was back to her usual self.
She ran up to Sage and bumped him playfully with her shoulder, "Good game! Good game, everyone! And Colored Spring! You were just joking about the green nonsense the whole time -- you guys were working together to throw us off!" She beamed at them.
She thanked Through Your Eyes, bowed at Mister Legendary and then turned towards Doubleback, eager to find out of they were actually related...

Sage laughed and nodded, "I'm glad you had fun!" But his grin twisted wryly when he continued, "Unfortunately, I think he's just like that," and he rolled his eyes at Colored Spring.
Very quietly, while everyone else was focused elsewhere, he stuck his tongue out at Through Your Eyes. If she didn't like how he'd played the game, she could just deal with it.

Through Your Eyes raised an unimpressed brow at Wild Sage. "I certainly hope that you live your life better than you played this game."
There was, ultimately nothing she could do. He had made his choice. It rankled, though, because his choice not only lost him the game, it lost the game for his allies. She was not known for being particularly helpful nor was she prone to forming bonds, but she never simply gave in when she had committed herself to helping someone, even if it was in regards to something trivial.
She shook her head and gave a shrug. What was done was done.

Kiss of Death tisk tisked really loud after hearing the results. In the end Wild Sage was telling the truth. She neither felt happy or angry about the win. The game was over whether they liked the ending or not.
"Thanks for the game, guys." With that she bowed at the host and gave an eyewink toward the rest of the players.
She was curious if she was related to the other skelekin but her brain was exhausted. The only thing she wants to do now is find a cool spot in the mud and do nothing for the rest of the day.
