Annalicia is persuaded to leave her son and start dinner, Kitara at her side. The younger of the two looks up to Darian, who has come in the door by now.

"Hey, cousin, why don't you drop your stuff off and go find Uncle Greg?" she asks.

"He'll come when the aroma of food is in the air, in the least," her aunt says, smiling, before turning to her son, "But, it would be nice for you to find him, Darian, at least to tell him that you're here for a while."


((Ooc: You can pull Gregory whenever you wish, lastest by the time they sit down to eat.))

Kitara cleans the veggies at the sink as Annalicia checks the roast that has been cooking for a while.

"How come he could find Uncle Greg so easily while I couldn't find him?" she asks her aunt.

The blond elf laughs slightly, replacing the lid on the pot, "The two are more similar to each other than either of them would like to admit. Darian would know where his father would go at almost any time of the day. ..however, Gregory is a bit more predictable than Darian, at least to me."

"That's because he's your husband and have had more time to get to know him, dear aunt."

"True true," she replies, turning to another task as she listens to the father-son conversation taking place in the hallway/stairway.

Elvini pauses, turning to her aunt, "He was listening in?"

Annalicia smiles, "I guess so. Remember, he is known for his sharp hearing around the Moonleaf household."

Kitara sighs, "Should've remembered that...."

Annalicia nods, wiping her hands on the towel that hangs from her apron and goes to the bottom of the stairs.
"Gregory, dear! Supper's almost done. Why don't you come down and help Darian set the table, as well as greet him? He has been away for a while, so come on down here."

Annalicia rolls her eyes, turning to her niece, "Guys, can't live with them..."

"Can't live without them," Kitara finishes off her thought with a nod.

Jay flies from Kitara's shoulder to a perch at the table that Gregory had built for him a while ago. He chirps up something and his love laughs.
"Jay wants to eat. He says that you all should come down already so we can start to eat," she translates with a smile as she gets the vegetables they had prepared for the meal.

Kitara turns around to face her uncle and puts her hands on her hips, after setting the vegetables on the table, "Now don't you start blaming him about your grey, Uncle Gregory. If you blame him for something like that, though I know you are joking, we'll leave right now and not come back here for a year. And I am serious about that one!"

Annalicia frowns then says, "Now, Kitara, don't even think of doing such a thing. You are family to us."
She then turns to her husband, "As for you, Greg, be kind even when you are joking. You know what Jay means to Kitara."

"...you don't know the half of it," Elvini mutters under her breath, glancing at Jay before catching Darian's eyes. She sighs and turns to get more food for the table.

Annalicia puts her hands on her hips and says in a serious tone, "Gregory Moonleaf and Darian Moonleaf, get rid of that attitude right now and set the table!"

Kitara whispers to her cousin, standing by him, "Nope, you didn't help much on that one."

Kitara nods and says to the two Moonleaf guys, "Better set the table before Aunt Anna gets even madder."
