As soon as Cody commented on family time she sighed. "It's not that; we both have very conflicting personalities. She doesn't think women need to be quite as vocal or demanding." As soon as he asked where he could shower she moved over towards one of two doors before saying "bathroom's right in here; spare towels and toiletries are kept in the closet" As she said that she slid her neck charm off before she reverted herself back to her normal form. her white and black fur stood out among the calming blue. From the looks of things her white fur was fairly uncommon among the village.

Once Cody began taking his shower Aslinn made her way to her room. She rummaged around in her closet groaning as she looked at all her clothing. All of her clothing that was here either was too small or far to effeminate or girly. Eventually she'd found something that would work. She had picked out a one shoulder sundress and the necessary extras.

She took her clothing and a towel before she went into one of the other bathrooms. She turned the shower on and got cleaned up. She removed the bandages she'd been wearing and examined her fur. The skin wasn't bright red but still pretty pink; however thankfully it was only a few spots. Eventually she got out of the shower and began drying herself off. Once she was dry she got dressed and lightly pulled her hair back into a loose braid; with a rainbow crystal clip at the very top and a thin bit of a golden ribbon woven into it before she bound the braid at the bottom.

When Cody came out and said he felt like a pesent compared to her she bushed lightly under her fur brfore speaking. "You shouldn't... all of my clothing i liked went with me and got burnt in the fire or enough smoke damage to never be worn again. Apparel such as this got left behind for a reason. I'm not very fond of it." As soon as he asked if his clothing was okay she chuckled before grabbing his hand and leading him towards the door. "it's fine trust me. I don't think you could do worse. Being yourself is always the best way to go" She hoped that Cody understood that it was easier to relax and go with the flow rather than be uptight and stress.

As soon as Cody asked where she wanted to go first she smirked then giggled before she spoke. "Let's go to lucky's" it didn't take long but she was out the door with Cody and a small purse. Lucky's was the tea stand near the entrance to the village she intended to show him lots of local food until he claimed he was stuffed. Shed have to make sure to steer clear of the bar though.

It wasn't a long walk by any means however most of the villagers kept there eyes pinned on her and Cody. Many of the women stopped Aslinn trying to make small talk but truthfully they were all to keen to figure out her male companion. Eventually though she'd gotten them to Lucky's and led Cody past the curtained entrance before leading him to a small two person table.

Aslinn heard him talk not thinking anything of the other's behavior until he called them out on it. She sighed and looked at him before speaking. "I'm not so much a princess. By birth a princess unless latter in line cannot be "trumped" unless she is illegitament. However as an alpha if i am not living up to my peoples expectations i can be challenged for power. However they all expect good things from me and don't wish to contest my fathers choice." As she spoke she looked at him smiling softly kinda unsure how to try and make the point that she was more like a president not a princess.

Not long after they sat down a man walked over with a small pen and paper, he set two menu's down. They had a list of the daily specials as well as a drink's section where they listed alcohol, juices, and bottled Soda's. He was in his anthro form and looked to be around Cody's age maybe a few years older. He stopped at the table keeping his eyes on Aslinn. He didn't seem to pay Cody much mind however gave Aslinn a stare as if she were a wounded deer ripe for the pounce. "long time no see" he said in a sly tone before he looked at Cody with a slightly non-schalant gaze. He for some reason seemed to think he ranked higher with Aslinn than Cody did. "What can i get you two too drink?" he asked trying not to let himself exclude Cody since it was in bad taste in his present company.
