"Darkness..." Jessica repeated quietly, wondering what exactly that meant. She watched as Lily interacted with the elder, eventually even handing over her mother's sword. Jessica was surprised; the sword meant a lot to Lily and it was very unlike her to hand it over to someone. She must trust this elder lady a lot. She stepped up next to Lily and looked up at the elder when she instructed them to go to the third floor of...something. The tree? "Then...you can fix it right? The curse? I mean, banish it or reverse it?" She wasn't about to let her best friend get killed or worse by some strange curse. She suddenly had a determined expression on her face. "What can I do? Is there any way to fight it?" She asked the elder, glancing over at the kitsune guard in case he knew anything.

"The elder said you could stay, you should be grateful she gave you that honor, don't push your luck" Replied Hanzo back at Jessica, after all he didn't wish anyone else to bother the elder with such trivial questions. None the less as she departed the Guard would look back at the two. "We shouldn't let the Elder wait. Let's go." Hanzo was too devoted to the elder, unlike Volpeo who was merely happy by being near her. Usually he was rather silent and kind just as long as no one bothered the Elder but since the attack on the kitsune tree he tended to be a little harsh on everyone. And outsiders were no exemption.
the Elder looked at Jessica as Lily handed over her blade she aswered it as blunt as she could "No" she told Jessica "Its not something that can be fixed...its not an affliction" she told her "but...when you arrive in the room... i will explain more about...her problem...but...i must warn you..if she denies letting you listen you will be forced to leave the room" she told her before facing Lily "dont worry...it would be disrespectful you your mother if i did" she said before as all of them blinked she was gone. Lily of course was not happy that the elder was blunt about having no way to rid of it as of now, it scared her abit, was that the future she was meant to have, mindless darkness controlling her, she remained silent but gritted her teeth together as she began to follow Hanzo

Jessica nodded slowly as she listened to the Elder before looking over at Lily. "Don't worry Lily, I'm here for you. We'll find a way to overcome it, okay?" She wasn't mad at Lily for not telling her about the darkness that was afflicting her since she too was hiding a secret. But that could wait. "The Forgotten Titans look out for each other, right?" She told Lily with a smile.

"It should be this way." Hanzo lost not a single moment to set the party into motion. After all he wouldn't forgive himself to make the elder wait. "watch your step carefully, we set traps for intruders so you better follow the safe path I'm walking for you." Added the white haired boy as he couldn't help but notice some dirth and small bruises on Jessica's body and clothes. Caused because of her surprise encounter with Lily earlier. The guide stopped and turned at Jessica with a puzzled expression. "Can you walk?" If she couldn't it would become a problem after all it would make the Elder wait longer and he wouldn't allow that.
Lily: looked at Jessica "y..yea" she told her in response it was still hard for her in general but Jessica had a point, she was there for her, so she had some back up for this situation. she began to walk as Hanzo did, but stopped when he did. before all that they would all take notice that the elder was already gone, as if she was never there. "i just hope...it was worth coming here" she muttered looking at the tree now and back at Jessica and Hanzo

Jessica listened to Lily as they walked but stopped when she did. She blinked in surprise as she realized the elder was no longer with them. Could she teleport or was it something else? She looked over at Hanzo when he asked her if she could walk. "Yes. Does it look like I can't walk?" She asked him with slight sarcasm, referring to the fact that they'd walked all the way up until this point.

Jessicas sarcasm wasn't really that welcomed by Hanzo, but she did had a point there. "Then I expect no further delay. Come, the elder is expecting us." Hanzo proceeded to lead the party into a crowd that was looking for provisions and patrolling the area to make sure there were no robberies. On their way to the tree, it could be seen that the village was quite a lively environment despite their current situation. And regardless of it's antique look, the civilization was quite advanced as well, compensating the advances in technologies at plain sight with magic and spiritual bonds, perhaps a deeper comprehension of the soul than humans. A few minutes later after arriving the tree. They would climb from one of the roots that lead to an entrance in which the lobby or great hall of the tree would greet them. Inside the tree things were even more lively, like a hive. Kitsunes were working hard to keep the tree and it's habitants at ease. "Keep moving, the elder is expecting us at the third floor." While there was a large hall and they were only to reach the third floor. The ladders that lead from a floor to the other was pretty much the same as the stairs to climb up to shibusen. Which meant that they would lay a token on those that aren't used to physical activities from prolonged periods. Once they reached the third floor, even an athlete would feel the token on their legs. Yet this had a meaning. For kitsunes who look upon the spiritual and philosophical point of view, the constant activity would keep a healthy pressure on their blood. Making sure their brains held enough oxygen, along with the practice of the art of "mind over body". Reaching through yet another large hall, they would finally reach the elder's office. In which Hanzo respectfully bowed before the elder. "Elder, I've brought our guests. I hope you didn't wait that much."
Lily just watched the interaction between the two and stayed behind to walk next to Jessica after Hanzo lead "the guides were a lot nicer the last time i was here" she muttered with a sighed voice, she knew Hanzo could hear her because he was a kitsune and they all had good hearing. she looked around as they made their way to the stairway, and the only reaction she gave was a groan "seriously..every time i come here...i have to climb dumb stairs" she thought before she climbed the stairs to the third floor, afterwards stopped and rubbed her knees, the third floor in this place wa much higher than what humans thought. when they entered the room, the elder was sitting in a chair with her legs crossed and holding a document that looked old.

Seireitou and Ren appear at the Tree of Kitsune. Due to their battle Ren had to put her son into a special armor with a mask to cover his face. She had her own mask as well,but had no need for armor. Ren takes Seireitou to the Gitsune families training grounds an begins reciting lessons to Seireitou as they trained.
We all owe a permanent death. We all owe one no matter who we are. No matter Our power…eventually everyone dies, one way or another. Only an arrogant fool would think otherwise Ren says to Seireitou as he warms up .
Whether in battle or in disease, due to bad luck or in age, death will take us all when our time has come. To make sure that it is not in disease make sure to keep yourself healthy. As for the other three it is up to fate to decide, but I for one will make sure that if it is to be in battle that I will make my enemy work hard for their prize

The air for the duo was clear, as was the sun shining down on them. Seireitou looked up to see the clouds drifting by as he walked onto the field to train. He could sense Kitsune all around him training to one day be great. That was something that Seireitou had wanted to strive for. To be greater than all these people around him,but not to just be greater. To be the greatest,and he would be. He looked out over to Ren and smiled,he surpass his mother power one day. He stood up, and started walking towards the area where Ren had training dummies and, then sprung into action, hitting the dummy rapidly, and each time in a different spot. The strikes were precise and lethal. Decus knew this wouldn't be like a real target, as the opponent would have experience,and be constantly moving. But at least this was practice;no one in the are would be able spar with him. Ren had him keep hitting the target over and over again until he started to sweat. Then he stopped and looked at the dummy. He almost smiled at his practicing. It was physical work, which was something Seireitou was accustomed to.
When he was done with his first half of training, Seireitou took of his mask and wiped the sweat off his face with his sleeve and cracked his knuckles. Ren pulled out some food and let her son take a brake Ten days to master the club. 100 days to master the dagger. 1000 days to master the Axe. 10,000 days to master the sword. 30,000 years to master the claw. Soon Seireitou was back at it,but in a rather unorthodox way.The way was learning how to dodge Rens attacks by only using his senses. repeated this process several times before taking another brake.
Jessica followed the two kitsues, feeling the weight begin to bear down on her. She focused on walking, not wanting anyone to notice that the weight was slowing her down. She wasn't about to be a burden before they'd even gotten to where Lily needed help. The air was thinner and her head was starting to spin slightly but she managed to hide it as they reached the elder. "Is this....where we're doing it?" She asked as she saw the elder sitting on the ground with a document. She turned and looked down from the tree (I'm assuming they're in the tree) when she heard strange noises coming from below. It looked like some sort of kitsune training with....something else. She couldn't make out what it was aside from the fact that it looked similar to a kitsune. She couldn't hear what they were saying but they seemed to be training non-stop. "There's really all kinds of people here, aren't there?" She asked looking back at the three that were with her. "A village full of kitsunes. I've never even heard of such a place."

It is a shelter to our kind, hence why we keep outsiders from entering this realm." Hanzo replied to Jessica. Turning back to meet the elder, waiting for her command. "Kimberly sama, I've brought you our guests. Is there something else you wish me to do?"
the elder just looked at them when they walked in "o good...you didnt slow down on the stairs" she smiled "for most first tmers it an be...quite a journey" she added smiling before clearing her throat "well...this is where we are going to see...exactly what...is inside of her, and of course explain to her...whats the best plan to deal with it" she told Jessica. Lily looked at Hanzo "do you mind not being condescending towards her please? she is a guest" Lily told him sounding strict "well...if you dotn mind you can get her onto that table over there...thats all i need now...and make sure the doors are closed...i rather not have any unexpected guests while we do this" she told him. Lily looked at Jessica "there may be different kinds but..most of them are the same...they are either like, her or...well him" she said indicating the elder and hanzo.

Jessica nodded and took Lily under her arm, helping her to the table. She looked back at Hanzo when he spoke. "The air smells the same to me,"she told him. She wondered who Hanzo was referring to as "Kimberly". Was that the elder's true name? She looked back at Lily. "Well hopefully there's more like you too," she told her, waiting for the elder's next instructions.
Now that I think about It, I bet Lily wished Hanzo accompanied her on her journey and have Volpeo to welcome them instead XD
"As you wish, Kimberly sama." With a swift motion the Kitsune Dashed, using his speed and the right angle to lift Lily and Jessica to lead them to the table as soon as possible, having carefully placed both of them over it so they may rest. Next thing he did was of course mount guard over the door.
