Atticus smiled as Mirai opened up to him, he was happy to see that she was still just an ordinary girl at heart, but he did not want her to limit herself just because she didn't want to hurt Texas' or the other girls feelings. Reaching down, Atticus firmly gripped her head, "You are just like Charlotte and Shira." he told her. "You are too kind, too compassionate and considerate. You would rather deny yourself happiness then deny it to others." Strangely enough, Atticus was starting to think about his first love, Shira would not have liked it, but he couldn't help it. "I don't if you know this, but before Shira, I was partnered with another woman, Akumu. She and I fell in love and even became engaged. She was the love of my life, I could never forget about her, no matter how much I tried." Atticus then gave a somber look, "But she was killed by a demon and I thought that I would never be able to find love again. That is, until I met Shira." Atticus did not know whether or not if this would help Mirai, but he felt she needed to know. "Look, all I'm saying is, sometimes it is worth being just a little bit selfish. It is okay to want to be with him, even if it meant hurting others." Atticus recalled how Shira was hurt by his admittance to still loving Akumu, but she didn't give up, she continued down her path and ultimately, he fell for her. "But still, I do not see what you like about that kid." he added, trying to lighten his own mood. "I mean he is a perverted and cocky little brat."

Mirai stared up at Atticus while listening to him. Eventually she grinned "To like someone, you have to like their negatives too." she said with a laugh before glancing away, deep in thought about something. "I guess I will use my own method for this then..." she muttered under her breath before looking back then towards Atticus "Thank you for the advice. Don't go killing him though. He already had Herald and Eric and Daniel and Vyral and Father to worry about hunting him down." she said, literally counting the people that would possibly rip Texas a new one if they had a chance for multiple reasons.

Texas's eyes widened for a split second as he felt Melani touch his hand. He hesitated before turning his own hand around and slowly grabbing hers. "Um...yeah..it's great isn't it?" He asked slowly, looking away from her and towards the water. He secretly prayed he wouldn't start shaking.
"Mirai, I am going to make this clear. If he does anything to you or make you upset, I will beat him into a pulp" Atticus mention as Mirai went to name quite a few names of people that wanted to kill Texas, Atticus smiled, "He has made a lot of enemies." he muttered before looking away. His mind was brought back to Akumu, if Mirai were to read it, she would hear all his thoughts and unresolved issues with her, looking back at Mirai, Atticus forced a smile, "Hey, lets keep this little discussion about Akumu from Shira. I don't think she would like it if she were to find out that I had been talking about the two of them." he stated.

Mirai smiled slightly "I think Shira would be fine with you talking about it." she said with a shrug before nodding "As for Texas, I can already beat him up so I've got that covered for the most part." she said, giving a thumbs up. She glanced over then, unable to see where Melani and Texas were before turning and looking at Atticus again "I am going to head back... I wouldn't want them to think that I drowned or something..." she said before hugging him again "Thank you, brother... you kind of helped me cheer up today."

Mirai smiled and nodded "I will. I will see you later today then." she told him. She waved at her brother before turning around and diving into the water. She popped her head back up again and began swimming back towards where the falls were as well as Texas and Melani.

The red head was enjoying the view Mirai had provided them by guiding them to the waterfalls. The whole ambience was soothing and in a way romantic which gave Melani many thoughts to fluster on and probably, if Nurse Mortem behave, to gossip around with her. The pair sitting on the rock were actually quiet for a moment. Which gave enough time for Melani to wander off the main topic of dating to wonder about her partner. She really hoped Aseki was doing okay, after all Melani was isolated in her tent the whole time while having her treatment being done by Nurse Mortem, she hadn't seen nor known about her in a while ever since the disaster of death city. Despite that she truly believed she was doing ok, and that it would only be a matter of time before their paths cross again. Her thoughts however, were brought back to Texas just as soon as she felt his hand slowly embracing hers. Popping out of her mind, the girl turned to see Texas the very moment he departed his sight from her. Melani blushed lightly with a smile. "Yes it is. You know, I think it's kind of romantic." Just as if made on purpose, which was 99% certified to be the case. The girl laid her head upon his shoulder, tightening her grip upon Texas hand just a little. It was still too soon to get into conclusions about the matter, but it would seem that being teased by Nurse Mortem ever since she joined the nursery had finally taught the red head a thing or two about being straightforward. Of course she wouldn't tell she liked him, despite the moment being perfect for it. Where would it be the fun in it? Despite that her clues were very obvious most of the time. "Don't you think so Texas?" She asked with her gaze set upon the flamethrower boy, it was cute the way he kept looking elsewhere. But knowing better what it felt to be teased, she decided to give Texas a break by lowering her gaze back at the water as well. Spotting Mirai at the distance moments later. Now that she thought about it, Mirai had been absent for a time. But it was nice to see she was okay. Perhaps she really liked to swim and dive that much?
Texas felt Melani's head on his shoulder and heard her question, still looking away to hide his face as his cheeks turned slightly red. "Y-yeah it is. It's really romantic in fact," he replied before taking a nervous swallow. He looked around at the scenery for a moment, buying himself some time to think of a response. He looked over to spot Mirai swimming back towards him. He had completely missed Atticus's presence and subsequent departure. Finally he looked back over at Melani, still at a loss as to what to say. But he had to say something, otherwise she would surely think he was some kind of idiot. "Umm...yeah. So uh, have you found out where your partner is yet?" He asked, going with the first thing that came to mind. crap! He thought to himself. I shouldn't have brought up something that worried her! Way to spoil the mood Texas... He gave a mental facepalm as he waited for Melani to respond, hoping the issue wouldn't upset her.
And I just want to show them.

Mirai eventually made it back to where Melani and Texas were, not saying anything as they held hands and were talking to each other. She continued being silent and floated in the water. If I did drown I would have been screwed... she thought as it seemed those two were in their own little universe or something like that. She sighed before looking up towards the waterfall. She stared at it for a moment before she began concentrating on it, her wavelength suddenly building up. The falls began to quiver slightly, moving from side to side instead of straight down as Mirai used her telekinesis to try and redirect the water. The falls split down the middle then and began extending out into multiple currents of water floating in mid air and connecting with the lake still. It looks similar to multiple water slides only without the slide. She kept her concentration for a few moments before she got used to keeping the falls as they were before teleporting to the top of the falls. She quickly ran then and jumped into the water, the multiple currents she create suddenly grabbing her and she sped down the slides she made for herself and landed back where she started at. She popped back out of the water with a grin on her face before teleporting and doing it again.

Melani chuckled delighted to know Texas shared the same opinion about the scenery of this place, more over. The way he always paused his lines made her think he carefully choose each and every single one of them, such a mature boy at such age. The thought about it was reinforced when he decided to ask about her missing partner. "H-huh?." Melani fell back from him as she locked her gaze on the boy's face. The question kinda ruined the mood between them but, the way he kept observing the water made it clear for her. He really cared about her and was concerned about how Aseki's disappearance may had affected her emotionally. Could it be that those two brought her here in order to clear her thoughts from the very beginning? How could she be so blind and not notice that before. Of course she got it all wrong, then again she was too distracted in her ilusion of a mature Texas to even notice. Her cheeks once again flustered, as if she was embarrassed about the awkward comment. Even more when a tear began to form and slide down her cheek. At plain sight it would seem Texas had upset her greatly, however he might find a surprise once the girl closed her eyes and tossed herself at Texas, hugging him tightly. "T-thank you Texas...I-i didnt knew I was worrying you this much about Aseki. Im fine, really, as long as I'm with you. I know Aseki is strong and still alive and there's only a matter of time before we meet each other again." The redhead was completely moved by Texas apparent example of his qualities as a gentlemen. She even thought of herself as clumsy, to have been burdening Texas all this time without her noticing. The flustered girl would grin back at the boy, not caring how silly she may look with her cheeks being pink an dher eyes still sharing some tears. "I promise I'll be strong for her and for you... and for Mirai as well.. you guys are awesome. S-so.. I.." She coudln't manage to spill the words, once again her shyness strike back imagining Nurse Mortem would most likely know about this later. "I'll be in your care now" She cleaned her tears, still feeling a little silly about the whole scene but was happy to see the kind of friends she had even when she didn't deserve them.
To add the killing blow, the sound of distorted tides called for her, noticing how Mirai was gracefully playing with the falls as if she could mold them by her own will. Tho, it wasn't far away from the truth, the display of Mirai's skills was extraordinary, her bright figure dancing up and down the dark waters, reminded Melani of a shooting star. Being distracted by Mirai, the girl started to calm down a little her drama. But not that grin on her face, she was truly happy to be here. But now she needed to know how to thank them for all this.
At first Texas was really upset with himself, thinking he had really messed things up. She was ready to burst into tears! He was all the more surprised when she suddenly jumped on him, almost losing his balance on the rock but quickly recovering, instinctively grabbing her back. He listened to her, wide-eyed as she told him about her partner. "Y-yeah, I know you will," he replied, looking down at her. "We're here for you Melani, don't worry." He managed to turn his shocked expression into a warm smile before she looked back at him. "We'll find your partner for sure! And until then I'll protect you, I promise!" He added, becoming more confident as he continued. He followed Melani's gaze when she saw Mirai using the waterfall slide that she had created. "That looks like fun," he told her as they watched, trying to take her mind off of her lost partner.
Alexander Viola Alexander sat down on the edge of the valley. He couldn't believe what was happening. He just moved to Death City, and now he can't find his only friend, who had only recently revealed herself as a weapon. Now, with all this DWMA rivalry junk escalating, he and Gran might be in big danger. He put his head in his hands. "I'm just too confused."

Daemon walked over to the shadows of a tree and sat down against its trunk. He rested his head back so that he was looking up at the foliage of the tree and the gentle breeze that rustled its branches. Despite being the Kishin he was, Daemon much preferred pacifism over hostility. After spending his time meditating in the Valley, he could stop a conflict before it got out of hand. He let out a sigh as Dumon glowed silver in the sunlight and then seemed to disintegrate as the mask returned to its spiritual form which seeped into Daemon's skin.One day there will be peace...Order will be brought about and there will be no more conflict...Someday...
"It would be a lot more fun if you didn't gawk and tried it!" Mirai teased as she appeared back up near the falls again, looking down at them before looking towards the water she was controlling. She quickly slid down again and landed in the water below, she came up once more, floating there with a faint grin on her face. This was the first time in a while she felt a lot better and less stressed and depressed about everything. The water also had a soothing effect on her soul which was beginning to become damaged slightly from all of the events that occurred.
