Still a little shaky, Nush slowly approached the shrine. Seeing the blessings it had to offer. He had earned this. Furrowing his brow, he quickened his step before reaching out and touching one. He felt a small surge of energy as he did so, all before everything faded and he was sent away.

There was something oddly familiar about this. Hale couldn’t put her finger on it. Like something was trying to make itself known, but she just couldn’t grasp it. Regardless, there was something alluring about the idea of flight. She was looking for something, and it was important to try every avenue possible, so she would. She wasn’t sure how this was supposed to work as she took a hold of a glider…but nothing ventured nothing gained!
Hale stared at it for a long while, as if it would magically tell her what to do. She had the feeling she was being mocked, even though there wasn’t anyone else around.

Hale adjusted her grip on the glider, and shifted her weight from foot to foot a bit anxiously.
She should just go.
So she did. At the last moment though she had a feeling this wasn't the way it was supposed to be, and she bailed, rolling off to the side just in time to see the glider go over the edge. s**t. She looked around, and though she felt like she was being watched, there was no one around.

She wasn't going to walk away from this though. Hale grabbed another glider, and her mouth pulled into a set and determined frown.
Oh wait...what's that? Hale investigated the crank, and her natural instinct, of course, was to touch it...but to no success. Well, at least it didn't harm or maim her....She cast a suspicious look at it.

She'd stand here and try as long as it took...she wasn't to be bested.
Hale tried winding up the crank again, this time not as hard as before. She picked up her glider and stood on the launcher, feeling her a tightness in her stomach as the device trembled before WOOSH.
Her breath was taken away as she was launched, and this sudden feeling she had as she soared couldn't be described. Like it was something she used to do all the time, but no longer.

As soon as she allowed herself to start looking around, Hale found the scenery to be awe inspiring as well. She was letting herself get taken in, shifting her weight as she needed to, until something seemed to shout at her. Hale startled, her head whipping around to try and find the source. Something about that seemed to shoot right through her...

Was it the roaring of the waterfalls...? No, there it was again, and Hale let out a startled cry as her glider dropped, sending her stomach right up into her throat.

She didn't like this feeling, not one bit...but she wasn't paying attention, and the angry voice rattled her to the core again. When she finally tore her eyes away from around her, she looked down just in time to see the water rushing up to meet her.

Okay.
She was trying this again. Not seeing it through wasn't an option! Something within her drove her to see this through. She wouldn't give up on it. Luckily she knew how to get the glider going, so that part went smoother than before.
This trip was drastically different this time around. She had braced herself for that angry voice, but the one that greeted her now was kind and encouraging. Hale felt secure in what she was doing.

When she dropped once more, her stomach didn't leap to her throat. Yes. Something about this whole thing felt oddly...familiar. But still, she couldn't put her finger on it. Hale didn't focus on it though, for soon the water dropped out from underneath her, and now it was just a fog.
