The pile of balloons around Griffin was starting to shrink, but he still had enough ammo to feel comfortable staying where he was. Or as comfortable as he could with blood practically gushing down his leg. Would he need to go to the hospital? Have stitches? It was scary to think about, and to combat his fear, he grabbed another balloon and lobbed it at the nearest target. One kid practically bumped into him, so that one was on the receiving end of his rage, and he let his grenade fly.
My goodness, Briar was fast! Akane had been hit by the bubbles and by the time she recovered, he was out of sight.
Then, Griffin hit her with a water balloon. The water mixed with with the bubbles and made her a wet, slippery mess. She tried to run after him, but she kept slipping all over the ground and falling on her behind. She managed to slide her way to a tub to get another water balloon that she threw overhand at Derek. "Yesss! I still got it!"
Slipping by the sudsy water tub, Briar took the opportunity to send some bubbles in the direction to a girl running in his direction with a water balloon and then ran off while she was distracted.
He’d had his fair share of getting hit by stuff, but Briar figured he was giving it the good fight and hopefully he was doing better than Kevin.
It was very important to him that he do better than Kevin – after all Briar still wanted those cookies.

As he stepped backwards to get more ammunition, Griffin skidded on a piece of broken balloon and fell backwards. At least this time, he landed on his butt, which was able to take more of a beating than his poor knees. His arms waved wildly as he tried to regain his balance, and as he fell, one of them landed in a tub of bubbles. As he wiggled his fingers and felt the soap sticking to his hand, Griffin wrinkled his nose. Again? Really? He was sick of having to wash his hands all the time!
Still, he wasn't going to give up such a useful weapon. He wasn't alone by the bubble tub- Briar was there too, practically asking to be hit. So Griffin happily obliged, shoving a whole armful of suds in the other boy's direction.
Ralph had finished off his snack and sat watching the others for a few moments before getting up to head back into the fray. Hopefully, this was just getting interesting!
He grabbed a near by balloon. Before launching it at the nearest kid. When it busted open, there were lots of confetti. Ralph laughed as he watched them try to get the confetti off. Now then, he needed to go back after the kids that had ganged up.

After a good long break of cookies and juice Jason was ready to get back in there, his clothes were even starting to dry.... somewhat.
With a whooop and a 'Bonzaiiiii' he plunged back into the fray. A evil laugh proceded him scooping up a balloon and chucking it at a random person... only to have it splater uselessley on the grass.

Akane finally dried up enough to get herself up off of the ground without slipping. She decided she'd celebrate...with more water balloons. She picked one up and tossed it at no one in particular. She heard a splash and someone said ouch, so she counted it as a victory.

Marisha pouted as the boys didn't rise to her bait. She had been hoping for a challenge But it seemed the boys were more interested with the others there than her. Stomping her foot in a mini tantrum she grabbed up another balloon and looked for someone else to bombard with water. Spotting a lone girl nearby she quickly worked to get behind her and thew the balloon harder than she meant in her childish anger. Luckily for the girl, she missed completely. The balloon filled with water flopping on the ground with no damage to it.

"Gak!" was the sound that Briar made as he was suddenly splashed with soapy water by Griffin, his eyes stinging as some of the suds went into his eyes.
He'd tried splashing back in the direction that he thought the other boy might be, but either he'd totally missed or the other was long gone.
He tried looking for some regular water and in the end settled for bursting a couple of the water balloons and using the water to wash his stinging eyes as best he could.
He had just obtained a new target - it might not be be immediately but he was definitely going to get the kid that had done this (Griffin) back for this.

Ohh so Jason wanted to play huh? "HEY YOU THROW LIKE A SISSY!" He taunted grabbing another balloon. Maybe if he provoked the kid Jason would wear himself out attempting to hit him.
Ralph was totally just testing the waters with this theory though. Actually it might would've helped his insult if he'd actually hit Jason.... there was a moment where Ralph just stood there staring and suddenly he heard a mad sounding growl from a cat. His eyes went wide, oh crap he'd hit the cat. "Who let a cat onto the field!?" Of course he didn't get his answer when the cat started chasing him. Maybe Ralph shouldn't taunt people anymore.... it just ended up with mad animals.

Not noticing the effect that his splashing was having, Griffin continued to toss soapsuds at Briar. Only after the other boy had stumbled off in search of clean water did he realize that he'd done one of the things he'd promised he wouldn't. Getting soap in the eyes wasn't fun, it was just mean. He hadn't meant to aim for Briar's face, but considering the amount of bubbles he'd been dealing with, it really wasn't a surprise that a few had strayed from the target area.
Picking himself up off the ground, he tossed one last handful of suds- more carefully- at a random kid, and limped after Briar, looking concerned. "Oh man, are you okay? I'm sorry, I didn't mean to go for the eyes."
Jason yelled out at the indignaty of being called a girl even if it was just because of a bad throw but he got his revenge when the boy, Ralph, apparently drenched a cat. And now the cat was chacing him.
Jason was laughing so hard his next balloon slpatered at his feet as it droped from his hands.

Okay... so breaks and him just weren't on the best of terms. After a few moment's Derek got twitchy and bored of waiting around. And just as he stepped out of his hiding spot, he got with not one, but two balloon. Maybe he should as Trev if he really didn't have that title anymore, because he was starting to feel like he did. So picking a bright red water balloon he threw it at a kid standing by the tub

A red water balloon barreled through the air towards Akane. She had a deer in headlights look as it flew closer and closer. "Ahhh!" Finally, it hit her and exploded with a loud sploosh. It looked like the boy she hit before had gotten his revenge. Sweet, sweet revenge. She wasn't going to go down easily. She grabbed a blue balloon, smooched it, and threw it at him. "Kiss of death balloon, go!"
By the time Griffin reached him, Briar’s eyes had stopped stinging so badly. After thinking about it he broke another water balloon and used the water as best he could to wash out his eyes even more.
“I” he announced grandly “Am going to get you back for this” he told Griffin – it was probably fair enough that the other boy knew that he was on the top of his target list.
Then he smiled “But your apology is accepted” he wasn’t one to hold a grudge – well at least not for long he wasn’t.
As a couple of kids ran by, Briar reached for one of the balloons and half-heartedly tossed it in the direction of the second of the two, but wasn’t too surprised when he missed.
