Well, he had yet to roll a 4 for today, but he was up to a total count of 16. This next roll would have to be small numbers if he was going to get just 21.
Finally a 4, but too late, and too many points this round. He was way over 21.

The total resets for each day... a fresh opportunity to reach 21.
So Day 1's target is to roll 1's
Day 2's are 2's
and so on

Aurora had lost track of time, again. She rushed over to the pile of dice and swiped three off the top with her paw, watching them roll off the pile and land on the floor.

As soon as the dice landed, Aurora pushed three more dice from the top with her paw, making sure they rolled onto the floor as well. What a messy Medaria!

It was now day five and Maud'dib was determined to win this thing, simply to say he had, if for no other reason. He gathered up the dice in his paw and after shuffling them around a bit, he tossed them to the floor. Would he see three fives?

He let out a sigh of frustration as the dice stopped rolling and showed not one single five. His total so far for that roll was twelve, so he needed to roll a total of nine on this throw if he wanted to claim victory.

Well, he was still in the game, as he now had a total of seventeen out of twenty-one. He would need a lot of luck if he was to roll a total of only four with this next roll. The odds were not in his favor. He gathered the dice and saying a Hail Mary, he let them fly.
It just wasn't to be he guessed, though one of the dice did end up as a five. He didn't know if that would garner him any points or not though.

Aurora stepped up to the pile after Maud'dib had finished. This time, she was determined to make a huge mess! Even huger than before! She picked up three dice one by one and hurled each in a different direction. She wasn't sure how she would get her score if she couldn't find the dice, but she had priorities, darnit.

Hardly pausing between turns, she did the same with the next three dice she selected. Would she get to throw another three?

[I'm not sure if we are on day 6 today or not, but I may not be able to post tomorrow.]
Maud'dib had one last chance to make a name for himself. He picked up the dice and flipped them into the air before him, watching closely as they landed, rolling around before stopping.

He walked over and picked up the dice. Not a single six among them, but his total was low, which boded well for getting a total of twenty-one. He rolled the dice around in his paw for a few seconds before once again tossing them to the floor.

It didn't take a brilliant mind to know that his chance of reaching twenty-one with another roll would never happen. However, he could still attempt to roll the three sixes the genie had challenged them to get today. He gathered the dice, made a silent wish, and tossed them one last time.

Aurora had lost track of the days after being trapped in the chamber for so long. She snuck over to that inviting pile of dice and tipped three from the top of it just to see what would happen.

She wasn't sure if it was a real turn or not, but the dice seemed to work just fine. Aurora batted three more dice down the sides of the pile.

One more roll, and she hadn't seemed to attract attention from anyone yet save for the dice. She flicked at three more dice from the pile and watched them tumble to the floor.
