[ CALLING A WITNESS ]
"It's not a matter of winning or losing. I just don't want anyone dying a useless death."
She turned to the idol Doctor and Dwight and sighed. It was rather frustrating with how unwilling they were to give information. "Edith, would you mind taking the stand?"

[ EDITH'S WITNESS TESTIMONY ]
Opening dialogue: Crossing her arms, Edith frowns at the assembled hunters and trainees, "I want to know who's put ya'll up to this. Is it Allan again? That boy needs to stop treating our work like some type of galdarned video game!"
Where were they on the night of the death (October 25 - 31st): "I was on a mission, not that it is any business of yours. What were you doing on that night?" She stares at you and her frown deepens with suspicion.
What were they doing on the night of the death: (October 25 - 31st): "My job," the leader snaps out, "which is more than I can say for you kids right now. Is this some kind of a...what does Allan call it? Coldplay? CARPing? Either way, shame on you for turning the Council's death into some sort of game."
Did they have any grudges against any council members: "We all just did our jobs as we had to, I'm not the type to get too personal when things call for professional." Her frown had grown increasingly more dire by this point. "Speaking of professionalism, I see a few of my Moons have been caught up in this foolishness." She stopped there, but the squint of her eyes boded ill for the Moon division. (ALL MOONS IN THIS ROOM, roll 1d4 to determine how many weeks of kitchen duty your hunter receives for participating in this.)

Jason was finding the walls of the room looked really interesting. Wow, was that new stain on it? He hadn't seen that before!
It looked like the moon got off lightly. This time at least.

"......" Was pretty much all she said, giving Ami a droll sort of look. Ceres was not...horrible, in the kitchen.. but she was not some chef either. She knew the basics, but beyond that? Not really.
Bix had been showing her how to cook here and there, but he usually did the cooking if they felt like having a hot meal... he had the kitchen after all.
Aauuugghh.

Ami shot Marcus and Ceres a look that said, Not my fault.
She couldn't help that you had a scary division leader.

OPEN DISCUSSIONSolia was leaning over the table, starting to get bored. Maybe.... well. maybe no one had bothered. Frist more immediate things. " Excuse me, Dr. H?" Solia hoped that he wasn't going to remember her name and from there, call her in one day for being a testing subject. " I'm not familiar with the specializations or skills of Dwight or miss Clarice. But, do you think either of then, or even yourself perhaps, would be able to disarm the bomb?"

Open DiscussionSo there was going to be toxic food for a while in the cafeteria. If they had a cafeteria any longer after all was said and done. If they still had their digestive systems attached. Ami got a nasty look for what was essentially depriving him of Harrison for even more of his time. "So we are in a situation where there are more suspicious ******** people than there are innocent looking ones. We have the people who are probably too smart to get caught up in the hands on s**t, the people who are too low on the totem pole to be able to do it and the people who have the physical ability but no motive. If only the whole ******** lot of them was a choice."Quote: Points: 3 even though probably useless

Harrison was already nervous. He got a serious case of the sirs and m'ams with one authority figure, but with all of them in the same room...
Speaking up once had been difficult enough already.
He stared hard at the floor while Edith doled out the work nights.

"Then," The room was suddenly, a lot quieter, compared to the strange stage of yammering and turmoil several Hunters seemed to have reduced themselves to, "There is only one answer, if there is only one culprit."
In as dramatic a fashion as usual, perhaps indeliberately so, he scattered several photos into the space in the center of the desks. If the Hunters could view the photos correctly was another question in itself, though it was of a single picture.
A hanged man.
"A convenient prop, which I might have borrowed for my own purposes as a prop. Someone was more proactive, someone who thought themselves above each and every single rule, even of their fellow council members." The Death lead paused. "While the consequent permanent retirement of the remaining council was of course, unfortunate, it also creates a lapse as to who filed the execution report in the first place. Is the target someone who has fled the locked room incident, out to seek revenge for their peers, or is it someone who conveniently was absent during the planned execution?"
He paused. The voice behind speaker system however, did not speak up.
"So then, shall we continue with actual debate?" Caelius looked very specifically at the camera at the corner of the screen. "Where are you Jam-"
-"NO ONE LEAVES!" The voice was bordering on slightly hysterical. One could almost hear the flecks of spit from each individual syllable. "NO ONE LEAVES UNTIL THEY VOTE on the murderer. Who is it and SHOULD THEY BE PUNISHED? SHOULD CORRUPTION BE PUNISHED?"

Gale stared, utterly baffled, at Caelius.
Jam? As in...James? Is there even someone named James here? Jamie? Jamison? Who the bloody hell is he talking to? His mind worked furiously to try and figure the puzzle out, to decipher the clue, but trying only seemed to make everything more fuzzy, more confusing.
As usual, Caelius had not exactly made things better.
