Maddy wandered back up to the common room with Matthias.
"So if I join the team do I get my Pokemon back?" She asked.
"Thought you weren't gonna join?" Matthias asked, leaning against the wall.
"Beats getting tortured..."
Matthias frowned slightly.
"Its not my decision anyways."

MaddyMage Maddy wandered back up to the common room with Matthias.
"So if I join the team do I get my Pokemon back?" She asked."Thought you weren't gonna join?" Matthias asked, leaning against the wall. "Beats getting tortured..."Matthias frowned slightly. "Its not my decision anyways." Ren and Kasumi got to their rooms and each called out their Eevee's and gave first aide, and then gave them treats and a lot of attention. Once their Eevee's were down for a nap, Ren checked on his Zigzagoon, and Kasumi checked her Meowth, who mainly needed to be dried, and were otherwise unharmed. By then, the morning was over, but not the day by a longshot, so Ren carried his Eevee to Kasumi's room so that they could rest together, then Ren and Kasumi took off to see what kind of excitement they could find.

Maddy looked over at Matthias.
"Did you ever ask Archie what I did to piss him off?" She asked.
"Nope. Don't care. Orders are orders."
"That's a sad way to live. Creatures like us should be free. Not enslaved by humans."
"I'm not enslaved."
"Then why are you here?"
Matthias remained silent.

Once more, it was Kasumi's meowth that found it's way to the room, once more with Zigzagoon in pursuit, followed by Ren and Kasumi. " Ah, hello again." Kasumi said to Maddy and Matthias " Are you two getting along now? I want no fighting." she said, trying to imitate a motherly tone, but not being all that great at it.

Matthias looked over at Kasumi.
"We're getting along about as well as we have to."
Maddy turned to look at the both of them.
"How does it feel know your leader likes to take prisoners and torture them?"
"Shut it!"
Maddy fell to her knees as if in pain.
"Keep it up, a*****e, I'm used to this by now."
A few sparks flew from her body.

MaddyMage Matthias looked over at Kasumi. "We're getting along about as well as we have to." Maddy turned to look at the both of them.
"How does it feel know your leader likes to take prisoners and torture them?""Shut it!" Maddy fell to her knees as if in pain.
"Keep it up, a*****e, I'm used to this by now."
A few sparks flew from her body." I'm not sure what to think about it." Ren admitted " I know we're supposed to be members of Team Aqua, but I....we, I mean, have been having some strange dreams, it's like Team Aqua is different somehow in the dreams, only the dreams seem real." " We were on a mission a while ago, and had a dream, and in the dream I caught a Voltorb and Ren caugh ta zigzagoon, and when we woke up we had the Pokemon we caught in the dream. It was really baffling." Kasumi explained.

"That's very strange... For some reason I don't remember having a Torchic, Piplup or Larvitar. I remember having their fully evolved forms." Maddy said.
Matthias just remained silent through the conversation. Every time he tried to remember his past it made his head hurt.
"I can remember a man's face now... But I haven't seen him around here anywhere and I have no idea who he is."
She went quiet, deep in thought.

She went quiet, deep in thought. " Actually, in the laboratory today, we only had three Pokemon each with us, and it looked like those Sharpedo would beat us, but then..." Kasumi pulled out her flute and the magical coin that she had since she appeared in Lilycove City, confused " Ren and I each have these. We pulled them out, blew into the flutes, and Piplup's Pokeball popped out of my coin, and Seel's Pokeball popped out of Ren's." " Like magic." Ren agreed, pulling his flute and coin out of his pocket " It was thanks to the sudden emergence of piplup and seel that we managed to win. Otherwise, we may have needed to be rescued."

With that, Matthias and Maddy left HQ.

When Maddy and Matthias had to leave, Ren and Kasumi returned to Kasumi's room, and checked on the Eevee's, that seemed fine, having responded well to the first aide they were given, combined by accelerating their healing by using rest. They were up and about now, as good as new. Kasumi and Ren gave their Eevee's each a treat, then had them return to their Pokeballs and headed to the Aqua Base Entrance to chat about what had happened earlier and to await any missions that they might get.

It had been a while since Ariel, no... Ace had a dream; a dream that defies the reality she lives in. She had awakened from her slumber, and held a pokeball. The pokeball started to emit a red beam of light in front of her bed and formed a turtle-like shape.
"Squirtle, Squirtle." He croaked as he reaches his arms upwards, stretching his every bone and muscles. She watched him amusingly until his eyes met hers. The squirtle was rather curious as to what his trainer had to say.
"Listen Leon. I had this crazy dream. I was helping the citizens out, and you know what? They didn't fear me or the team logo I wore. None of them did at all! It's so ridiculous!"
Leon watched his trainer in concern as she laughed like a lunatic. "It was impossible! For Team Aqua to actually bring justice! And yet in reality, it's listed as one of the top criminals!"
After a few minutes of laughter slowly dying out, Ace finally calmed down after a drink of water. This odd dream she had out of the blue was definitely the cause of eating ice cream before bed. Maybe.
She got out of her bed and dressed in the gang's clothes before wandering out in the halls. Along her was her trusty Pokémon, Leon. She knew that she shouldn't dwell on dreams. They weren't real. Yet she couldn't help but pondered over it.
But somehow... It almost felt real... Almost.
Ace had officially joined team aqua about a month or so ago... But She felt as if it had been years, an uncanny feeling she had ever since she set foot into the building. In addition, the four Pokémon, including her Squirtle, were familiar to her. And yet... She couldn't recall any experiences she previously had with team Aqua.
It didn't matter though. She really had no interest in taking the world or any of that. She joined because she knew she would have a chance of finding him. Because she and him are like fire and water, ying and yang, sun and moon. She knew she would collide with him soon enough.
After all, he was in Team magma.

Matthias limped into the common room, clenching his arm tightly.
"Ugh... Can't believe I let her get away..."
He sat down on the nearest couch and inspected the wound beneath his fingers. It was fairly deep and bleeding profusely, but he knew it would only cause him trouble for a few hours until the chemicals he was injected with wore off.
"This isn't good... Boss won't be happy if he finds out she got away..."

Ace along with her squirtle reached into the common room where she had noticed a young man she had not seen before. She paused before walking towards him. As soon as she came closer, she noticed some blood in the man's fingers. Shouldn't he wear some bandages to cover that nasty wound, she thought inquisitively.
"Greetings." She said to him in a rather quiet tone. Came back from a mission?

Ren and Kasumi entered and saw Ace and Matthias.
"Good evening, sir." Ren greeted Matthias.
"Did you get into a fight with a Machamp?" Kasumi said to Matthias "What happened?"

Matthias pulled his coat over his arm to hide the wound.
"I lost track of time and was a little late on injecting Maddy with the chemicals to suppress her powers..."
He bowed his head in shame.
"She got the better of me and managed to escape..."
