"Of course I came." Liberty's laugh was delighted. "I promised."
The redhead shifted a chocolate cupcake to the left side, and looked up, just in time to lock eyes with two ten year old twins. Casting a quick, apologetic glance to Avery, Liberty passed over two cupcakes and a flier. Hopefully, the second would find the children's parents.
Rising from both tables, she received Avery's hug with a broad grin.
"You look like a serious cupcake saleswoman." A gentle tug of fabric. Sliding back to her own space, both in relief and regret, she left her eyes on Avery's. "I know for a fact you're a good saleswoman." Maybe, it was just that Avery wasn't knowledgeable on cupcakes. For a candidate running for more important matters, it was hardly an Achilles' heel.

"Hm, if you say so." Avery's hum was a low sound of agreement, a quiet laugh caught in her throat as she remembered Liberty's red face when they'd encountered each other at The Spot. One might argue that Libby was just easily persuaded, versus Avery actually being skilled.
"Are you just going to hog both tables, or am I allowed to have my spot back?" A tease, as Avery reached out to fix the collar of Liberty's shirt. She hoped she was allowed to have her spot back. Lena would just have to forgive her for not returning right away...
