Though, based on the marks on the table, Deryk seems to think it was some sort of large, possibly serrated, blade. They'd have to be above a Hunter level, too, because not even Rep's axe could dent the table. I'd say Allan, but... well, it's Allan? He doesn't murder people."

"Banned?" He was curious but polite, and had never been one to pursue answers, especially with strangers. Tuck still wasn't certain how he felt about Rep, but he was certain that he'd like to come away from this investigation relatively unscathed.
He watched Rep lick the spoon while he mulled over his options, taking in the other man's advice and once more thinking about his life choices up to this point.
His poorly made life choices.
"H seems kind of crazy." Tuck cleared his throat. "Why'd they ban you, if you don't mind my asking? Need to know what I should avoid doing, heh." Tuck shrugged one shoulder, grinning.

Solia shrugged. "I don't think so. Allan was surprised by the claim and doesn't think them dead. However, he's so far gone with his mental state it might have become a form of selective memory. His motive is unknown, though aside from the happy go lucky Allan we lack a general feel for his underlying personality. On top of that his weapon can change forms, making him suspect to having used his weapon without leaving much evidence. The gouges in the table could have been make by the council themselves, or, from a from of highly corrosive weapon. Personally, I think it might have been a council member."
She shrugged. "It's just a guess."

Lifting his hand to rub his jaw, Tuck sighed roughly and leaned back in his chair.
"Thanks for taking the time to talk with me." He rolled his shoulders back in a stretch. "If you ever do want to have a weaponless spar, I'm down."

Around the corner and after some wandering, he met another superior and, at this point already exhausted by being talked down to, decided to throw all caution out the window and just ask. He was sure after all this time from the news being common gossip to now being dusty rumor, he could get away with just saying it outright.
What he got was basically being called anywhere from Scooby to Velma (he wasn't sure which member of the collective gang he was supposed to be), and told to grow into his big-boy britches to ask serious questions next time.
Someone pissed into the superiors' coffee today, he was sure of it. He couldn't blame whoever did it too.

He turned more severe "Aye, never ******** with Simon, he's got a zero tolerance policy for wasting his time. And it's nothing." he said with a dismissive wave of his hand - perceived flattery was everything. "I was just taking a break anyway."
"As for the spar, text me anytime and I'll be there."

Next Hunter, next Hunter... Ah! Grey eyes landed on Kat, who was talking with and/or torturing Mark. Good old, completely torturable Mark. Lex wished he could feel some sympathy for his scruffy look-alike, but the fact that he was such a whiner prevented any compassion from the Life trainee.
So, Lex pulled Kat aside for a quick second. "Council - who do you think did it? Solia says it may have been one of them, but I doubt it."
