Gold n Oranges A lady I work with was telling me about her similar story, loretta. I can't imagine having gone through a pregnancy knowing cancer was growing right along with the baby! I'd be so freaked out the whole time. sweatdrop My grandmother passed away from ovarian cancer two years ago. They only found it while they were prepping her for an experimental surgery (which she and the doctors told us was a totally routine procedure, more common than an apendectomy). They took a blood sample and found cancer markers, they couldn't find the location of it until it was too late. They went along with the surgery, which she survived, but they didn't bother to poke around and look for cancer and she was too weak to have more surgeries to remove the cancer once they figured out where it was. Grandma was a fighter right up until the end and when she did pass it blew us all away because she'd survived so much other stuff in her seventy years. well she sounds like she was a fighter and a very strong woman,and it sounds like she has great memories with you,that says a lot that means you carry her in your heart,and that she wont be forgotten,

Warehouse people like me have some pretty crazy stories of our own though! And thank you, Loretta and you too Delle (Della?)42 you guys about made me cry with the nice words. We do need to find some cancer cures... it destroys families. For some reason Gaia wont let me quote more than once a day in here...
