After the meeting with everyone, Meadow did some paper work. She had more food delivered to her office so she could get health. Once Meadow was done with about 1/3 of the paper work, she went to sleep. Once she awake, she joined in on the evening training. After training, Meadow took her wolf for a run. It felt good to be free. For a moment, it was as if none of her problems existed. She never found her mate, she was not an Alpha, and she was not going to war tomorrow. Meadow stopped at the daisy field, she had found Kieran and Daisy in a few days ago. Meadow shifted and sit at the base of the same tree she'd sat at before. Meadow looked to the sky. "Moon Goddess why must this be my destine?" Meadow went back to her pack. She trained most the night. Meadow would sleep during the day. Everyone would be at home tomorrow with their families. There would be no training tomorrow because tomorrow they were going to war.

Leila helped prepared the evening meal. It was just the Alpha's Mate, Terra, her toddler who played under the kitchen table happily, and Leila in the kitchen. Leila washed and cut up small potatoes/ They were going to roast them with carrots and the large roast they had purchased in town. It would be a simple but filling meal. They baked biscuits and two apple pie for dessert.

Terra talked easily as she worked. She was the Alpha's Mate. The pair had left their Pack several years before. She was the Alpha's daughter and he wanted to marry her off to their neighbors to the West to ensure they had back up should anything happened. Well Terra refused because she was in love with the Beta's son, who she had grown up with. The pair had always believed they would marry and everyone assumed it would happen until the Alpha's decision.

So the pair had run away together when they were unsuccessful in changing the Alpha's mind. That left Hunter and Terra Pack-less, and the pair wandered. Trying to find a Pack to integrate into. Jasper, Hunter's little brother soon left the Pack in search of his brother and friend Terra. When Jasper left he was accompanied by his friend named Trenton, or Trent for short.

The four wandered from place to place, never really finding a place that felt like it could ever be home. Along the way they picked up others, some stayed with them, some found new homes, eventually they decided to start their own Pack. Hunter was elected Alpha, a position that soon brought out the worst in him unfortunately. Jasper stepped up to be Beta, though he felt he would have been a better candidate to be Alpha.

Leila looked up as she heard the door to the kitchen swing open. Hands gripped her hips, and a strong male form pressed against her. The heat up his skin seemed to burn right through the thin material of her clothing. Leila avoided looking at Jasper. She was not sure if he was still angry with her, besides that she hated the battle wounds he was covered in. It made her heart ache, what did her brother look like after their fight?
"If Terra is okay, and doesn't need your help anymore I would like to take a walk with you before dinner." Jasper moved his hands up over her hips, and around her waist. He was slouched down, his chin resting on her shoulder. His cheek pressed against hers. Leila tried to focus on wiping the counter down.
"Leila, set the table before you go. We are pretty much done in here anyway." Terra said as she watched the couple. Jasper seemed unable to keep his hands off his new Mate. Not uncommon, but seeing him be so gentle and doting on her. That was surprising and new, he had never acted like that with any other female he had attempted to court.

Leila had hoped Terra would refuse to let her go, but she had known it was not likely. Terra constantly gushed how cute Leila and Jasper were. She was pleased Jasper had taken a Mate. It meant she was no longer the only female, and she had a sister in-law! Apparently this pleased Terra greatly, she acted as if the pair would be best friends. Leila had to admit the other woman was extremely nice, and great company. If she had to have a sister-in-law, she was glad it was one so warm and welcoming as Terra.

Jasper helped Leila set the table. She could feel his gaze on her as she moved. Actively trying to stay away from him. Once outside her took her hand. Immediately she tensed and he frowned.
"He is fine Leila. I just taught him his place. That is it." He said once more, exasperation evident. He stopped and forced her to look him in the eyes.
"I did not kill him. I did not permanently harm him. I want him and you to understand this Mate situation. He can not and will not come between us. You have to learn to accept your new home and family." He leaned down and she flinched. She was still on edge after their huge fight. He kissed her forehead, her flinching was not missed by him.
"You can visit him in a few days. I will take you to visit with him. I will wait outside the territory so you two can have some time together." Leila nodded but did not respond.

After some time of wandering around, Daisy found herself at a small diner, where she promptly took a seat and ordered up some food. It had been a while since she had actually eaten a cooked meal, and ended up getting a few pieces of pie, a burger and fries, and a large milkshake. It was so good, and by the time she had finished, it was already pretty dark outside. After paying for her meal, she walked back onto the streets and weaved her way through town, looking for the motel that she had been originally staying at.

The Wolf shifted and there stood a young man. He stared back at Meadow and smirked.
"Just chill! I am here to get a good burger! Our area isn't built up yet, and I hate going into that human town. They act like we are freaks." The man held his hands up.
"I come in peace. I just want to buy some food." He knew about the War. He was not for it. He was with Jasper on this one, war was not the way to handle the situation.
"I'm against the war. The Pack is split on this war decision. So please, don't drag me into it. Just...point me toward the diner." He stuffed his hands in his pocket. He wasn't sure what else to say to this young woman.

"Jasper doesn't want to go to war. Hunter wants to go to war. He feels like he has to prove himself. Show both Packs that our Pack is here to stay, that we are a small Pack but worth the attention. Essentially he wants the other Packs to accept and respect us, and hopefully a few of the females will join our Pack willingly." The young man went silent.
"I know everyone thinks we're rabid dogs, but we aren't. Leila was taken, but it was with good reason. She was alone, she was in danger. She looked like a strong female. We want and need good strong, healthy females if our Pack is to ever survive." He looked around the town.
"Do you want to see our town....? After I eat, I can show you around."

The young man thought the offer over. "I can promise a face to face with Jasper. Hunter...Hunter is Alpha. He listens to no one unfortunately. Well...perhaps I can have Terra try to talk to him." The young man nodded his head.
"I will head back...talk to Jasper. Between Jasper and Terra they should be able to get through to Hunter." The young man shifted back into his light colored Wolf. He tilted his head back and howled. Then he was off, his dream of a burger getting further and further away with each step.

The Wolf paused and nodded his head. He had never thought about a Mate. He just assumed he would find one eventually. He had never spent time thinking about it though. He was interested in having fun, exploring the world and music.

The Wolf ran, and ran. He arrived exhausted but went straight to Jasper. Jasper was out working in the yard. He was sanding the new door for the back door. Leila was with Terra who was watching her child play.

The young man shifted back and immediately started talking to Jasper in a low voice. After a few minutes Jasper called Terra over. Terra handed her daughter to Leila. Leila lifted the little girl up and playfully swung her about.
"Let's go play on the swings." Leila said and wandered off with the girl.

About an hour later the male was leading Terra and Jasper back to Meadow's Pack. Leila was home with the baby. Getting her ready for bed. Hunter was in town taking care of some business. It allowed the others the time to hopefully get to Meadow's and back before Hunter found out.

Jasper and Terra entered the room. The young man stood outside. He was not high enough ranked to expected to be included in such an important meeting. He was okay with that though. He had no desire to be an Alpha, or Beta. He did not want the life of his Pack weighing on his shoulders.

The pair entered the room. Each shook Meadow's hand. Jasper waited till both females were seated before he took his own seat. He listened to Meadow's offer. It was a good one, one he was not sure would truly satisfy Hunter.

Terra looked toward Jasper. She leaned in and whispered in his ear. He listened and then turned to look at her. He frowned and she nodded her head. He turned to Meadow, clearing his throat. His voice was deep and rumbling.
"Terra, our female Alpha...does not want four females. She wants whatever females that are interested in joining the new Pack to be available. She wants...our Pack to be able to use the corner part of the property. Currently we are forced to walk all the way around when he come this way to visit a few of our friend Packs. She also wants Leila to be welcomed here despite her ties to our Pack. Same with any Pack members that join us from your Pack." Jasper paused.
"Is this acceptable to you Alpha?"
