Who here was freaked when the first line of "The Pot" came on I had no idea Maynard could hit notes that high... Very nice album, I'm glad they're progressing. I mean it'd be boring if they did the same thing over and over and over. So kudos to them

I won't lie, I wasn't instantly hooked to this album like I was with every single one of their previous albums. It was just so incredibly different than everything they have ever done. I listened to it over and over again because I still felt drawn to it. Eventually within a few days it definitely did grow on me and now I love the album, I can't stop listening to it. I love how they can do something different and aren't like other bands that just mass produce the same sounds and songs over and over every few years just to put out more albums.

I love Ten Thousand Days because in a way its carrys on in the bands style, of awesomely freaky riffs and melodys while still trying something new. By the way i love Jambi

Prothisis911 SenorDiablo Prothisis911 TELEKITTY i sort of feel like 10k days is like a tablespoon of tool diluted into 3 or 4 gallons of water ): then you are not listening to it. stop listening to dumb ******** and their biased remarks, buy a good stereo turn the lights off and listen to it through and through, and then come back here and say that its just a tablespoon. im so glad more and more people are comming around...this album is as much a Tool album as Opiate, Undertow, Aenima or lateralus. its not the old Tool, its new Tool, which is why its not like anything we have heard from them....they are showing true progression. i cant even imagine what their next album will be like. Exactly! People never like change, but in order for this band to progress and keep going on making this amazing music we as fans and the only real support for the band need to try to not get stuck on one style and stay loyal to the BAND not to one certain album. id say you will have to wait about four or five years for the next cd but that dosent matter if you can see why the band is so intune with eachothers playing style

Each Tool album have unique tones to them. This one I found had more of a raw angry sound, along with their usual touch of abstract surreality. The name only to me by surprise for a few minutes, because I thought they might have changed their music, but I soon found it was indeed the old Tool.

Yea......the first time i heard The Pot, i didnt think it was even Tool, as i was hearing a ripped version off someone's comp, who was telling me it was Tool, i couldnt be sure, im not a big fan of the first half of the song, but the 2nd half is awesome, i love the rest of the album as much of the others. when you listen to a tool album for the first time, you cant be biased, or have any preconvieved notions on what it should sound like. its gonna be something seperate and new, different part of the same body. they are Tool, you cant expect anything but greatness.

10,000 days wasn't as good as their other albums really, they should have worked on the content more. They still had some neat riffs and ... you know, but, it just lacked some of the awesome the other albums had. Not that it was all bad, I mean, the album art was pretty sweet, and just the fact that Tool released another album... that really made my day. I rushed out and bought it as soon as it came out.
