"I've already wasted my life," Jerry mumbled, pushing his glasses up his nose as he shook his head. "Heal up, Jordan. You have people relying on you." That said, he turned to duck out of the tent.

Jordan stood, took several long strides, and caught the back of Jerry's coat. "Do I have to tell Sunny you're suicidal?"
Jerry straightened up, his expression contorting as he glared down at Jordan, his hands balling into fists...
But ultimately, Jordan was right. Jordan was always right.
He simply gave a grunt, deflating before backing up to sit on the ground beside the exit. "Fine."

"Thanks," Jordan said quietly, his stern expression softening into something friendlier, more concerned. He moved to stand near Jerry, arms crossed, as though keeping watch.
"What.." Otto huffed, rolling off of Lex and sitting up. "Geez, fine. I'll take the damn things." The teen rolled his shoulders, his expression grouchy as usual. He was only taking them because he was being ganged up on. Otherwise he'd just bear the discomfort alone.
Now that he had time to cool down, he realized a few things. He'd abandoned his first group in a panic, and ditched the second due to embarrassment. s**t. He was shaping up to be a fine hunter.

Ami retracted her hand as Otto rolled, nodding solemnly. That's right Otto. You WILL fix yourself up. No escaping it.
While Matt was getting supplies, Ami attempted to wrap her leg- key word being attempted. At first, she couldn't figure out which end went where. Second she attempted to do it without actually looking at the wound. Seeing wounds always gave her a bit of a nausea feeling, and her own body was no exception. Eventually she got the gauze on, but couldn't figure out how to make it stick- in other words, a total failure.
She threw the bandages down in frustration, scowling at them sideways. Stupid medical s**t. She couldn't figure this stuff out to save her life- quite literally. There was a reason she was in the research half of the life division. Whatever, she would survive without the leg being wrapped. Oh well, no big deal. With a grumble she shimmied herself up using the wall, and readjusted the skirt that Lex had messed up. A look at Solia and Lex, followed by, "C'mon, let's go." A glare at Otto, one that warned him, if you don't take those pills I'll kill you. With that settled, she stubbornly limped to the tent door, not helping Lex up nor attempting to help herself.
Problem, leaving Otto on the floor. She couldn't. Not without at least trying to help. Quickly rishing over to an empty cot and stealing a pillow she gave it to the younger but higher ranked trainee. "Stay safe okay Otto-bot? I still haven't shown you how to make your pillows remain and puffy for longer So don't die and stuff." And stuff.
Granted Lex and Ami were both life- Ami was short like her, and she knew Lex! Clearly, this was a good idea. Clearly. "Um, do you want help?" She offered to Ami, though she was betting the answer would be no.

Lex pulled himself off the floor and gave his coat a few wipings before following after Solia and Ami (not before sparing Otto a sympathetic, and slightly annoyed, look) because someone had to look after those two. Solia was a bit...naive, and Ami was...well she couldn't go having another episode because of some giant bug thing.
Yes, giant bug things scared Lex too, but not to the point of breaking down and crying.
Lex never cried.
"Ami, here." Lex stopped the woman with a firm hand to her shoulder, holding out bandages. "Let me get your legs."
It was impossible to distinguish exactly how long Robert had actually been sleeping for, as opposed to faking sleep. At some point, lying there with his eyes closed just slipped him down into a soundless nap. He awoke again, startled slightly by the sudden realization that he hadn't been awake the entire time, and finally opened his eyes.
Half the people were gone, and the other half continued to mill around like broken dolls in the back of a toy shop.
Robert picked himself up, very quietly, and tiptoed out of the tent, determined not to disturb anyone during their quiet time.

"Why the hell are we coming here?" "I said I'm FINE." "LISTEN HERE, YOU PIECE OF--"
Jake may or may not have realized he was talking out loud... again. Fortunately, there didn't seem to be a LOT of people remaining in the tent, so... it didn't really matter too much, maybe. And if so, he'd just end up giving them a look anyways. He really could care less about what people thought.
A quick scan around the tent showed that it was almost pretty empty, which was what he preferred, and he walked over and grabbed some bandages, carelessly wrapping up his torso so Chester wouldn't pester him about it.
WHAT NOW.
If Chester was going to scold him on how poorly he was doing the wrapping then-
A sigh. There were a LOT of hunters, okay? And he really could care- Oh. HER.
Jake cast a bored look at Sherry. "Oh. You're not dead yet?"
It was probably the closest thing to a greeting she'd get.

Things seemed to be quieting down. Hunters going out on patrol, or just doing whatever, really.
What do you mean? Sherry didn't really have to ask the question. She knew the lindwyrm wasn't happy just sitting around doing taking a rest. They hadn't died, which clearly meant they were ready to go off and try not dying again. Can't I just sit and be happy that I woke up?
Umm...I don't think it's supposed to be quite like that. But you do make a good point. There are things to be done. Sherry shrugged the slightest bit, and tossed another glance around the tent. If she was going to go back out there, she probably shouldn't do it alone. Though it looked like the hunters inside were thinning out (for the time being anyway). Perhaps she could find someone needing a bit of backup? Maybe...
Her attention was drawn by someone being loud. Hey! Wasn't that the trainee she'd run into earlier? Yay! He was alive. Sherry let out a small sigh of relief. That was one less worry. He did look a fair amount more beat up than when she'd last seen him, but seeing as how this mission seemed to be going, anything was better than dead. Speaking of, she would have to ask him about how they got out of that room.
She saw him glance in her direction. He looked rather annoyed, from Sherry's standpoint. "Nope, not dead," she smiled, getting to her feet. "Though how lived through that I'm not sure. I'm glad to see your not dead, either." Poor kid. Looked like the mission had been hard on him, so far.

There's no one HERE, shithead. Why couldn't Chester just shut up for one freaking...
He narrowed his eyes as Sherry responded cheerfully. What the hell was wrong with her?
"Are you stupid? Why would I be dead?"
Jake scoffed. Having finished (crudely) with the wrapping, he tossed the bandages aside. Well, it stopped the bleeding, but his handiwork would of made a moon hunter cry.
WHATEVER. It was done and over with. He headed back towards the opening without so much as a goodbye. Just having to come here bruised his ego.

Copied from post in IHH:
Just as Unstbul was sure that things couldn't possibly get worse, a little friend from the prior HH meta decided to remix his a** and drag him not into a big ocean tub of water, but a harsh environment of decay and despair. Demi could not help him out of this mess this time. :C
