A hand shot out, fingers curling around Dis' wrist.
"Dis," said Jinhai calmly, and said nothing else, instead standing silently beside him, his right shoulder pressed against the vampire's right shoulder, facing in opposite direction from him. His eyes were on Gale, however, and he let his fingers drift downward, squeezing the vampire's hand gently.
Then he let go and stepped towards his hunter.

"And you nearly dismembered m'little nerdy buddy there," Roar snarled back, spines shaking threateningly on his shoulders and back, tail thrashing behind him. "And don't give me that crap, you flirted with ME the other day!" He huffed. Granted, Roar was still a bit shaky on the mechanics of twitter, there was a fairly good chance it had been a misunderstanding. But what he had managed to read had been offensive to his howler sensitivities- meaning the vampire had wallowed around on what he mentally had deemed his 'turf', such as it was. And yet not a single ghoul had obliged Roar's attempts just yet, either. It was shameful. Stupid vampire. Clearly it was his fault. "Apologies is for Omegas, blood-breath."

The touch from Jinhai calmed him just slightly. He moved away and Dis resisted the urge to grabs the dragon and carry him like he'd seen his Marcus do to others. It was a hard notion to fight. "I am glad to see you didn't disappoint me Jinhai." He wanted to be encouraging but then, he just was terrible at it. Red eyes flicked back to the howler with a smirk. "That I did. I also flirted with Candace, Chama, Rue, Ofelia, Jezebel in passing- I would dare to say I do not discriminate." He smiled. "I've stolen my fair share of kisses thus far. And Omegas you say? You look less like an Omega and more a fledgeling to me." A fledgeling d**k but he didn't say that part.

"Fruitcake," Roar barked, spines still on end as he glanced around for any sign of his own Hunter in the midst of the chaos. There, still with Candace and the short guy. Confident Jerry wasn't crushed somewhere, he turned his attention then back to where he had left Atropos and what remained of B0nez, shuffling over with a grunt. "Holding in there, twerp?" He gave the ghost-golem a nudge with his foot.

Melvin was slowly sitting up, and still felt warm. There were little flames darting on him, but they fizzling out and soon went away. Straightening his hair a bit, he looked over at Saliva, who was also rolling up to her side.
"Hey. You're not dead." She said to him, and he stared at her back.
"What?" She asked, before looking at her arms where the golem was looking a bit crumbly. "Great. I feel like a burnt spookie." Oh, now she wanted some spookies.

The dragon was...dead? Rue would have liked to think so, what with all the people acting crazy and attacking one another (she should have joined in - it would have given her an excuse to attack the others and not be blamed), but seeing as it was a creature made of Insanity and also probably a Halloween student turned crazy beast it would be coming back.
With a vengeance.
How exciting.

"Did...did we wipe?" B0nez asked weakly. Some of his shirt crumbled off where Roar nudged it. His glasses had been crushed almost into dust.
Harrison, who hadn't been able to see much after the fog thickened, was looking pale. "I...I think I oughta sit down a while," he said.

Melvin was barely there, and then started to pat his pockets as he adjusted his glasses a moment. Wipe. Wipe. Wipe. He found the correct pocket and then slowly moved over, offering the baked thing one. He wasn't found of creatures, but if one wanted to get clean, he was never opposed to that.

Roar stared at the crumply ghost-boil with furrowed prickly brows as he tried to digest the words that came out of his mouth. "Well someone certainly got wiped." He then glanced to Melvin with a bristly expression "The hell's that?"

B0nez stared at what Melvin was offering him uncomprehendingly.
"I'm not crying," he said at last. Muddy blood ran from his eyes, nose, and mouth. "I can't, I'm dead." He sounded as if this was a vast improvement over persons beleaguered with bodily functions. He tried to look at the sky, and found it to be extremely blurry.
"Was it the boss?" he asked Roar, "Someone tell Officer Stabby to roll for loot."

Melvin was confused, and the gathering of more golems only made him put his wipes away and step back away slowly. He caught a brief bit of their talk and wondered if weapons had bosses, and why was their boss attacking the base? Could be weapons were unstable, and how did that one become wispy fog.
Melvin's head was hurting.

"I think you got your head bashed a bit too much, kid." Roar shook his head as the trainee withdrew, giving a good snort in Melvin's direction before looking back down at the crumbling ghost-golem. "You keep usin' words but I'm fairly sure they aint the right ones. Alright, up you go. We'll bring you to Pinkie-pie." He relaxed his spines, letting them smooth down before hefting B0nez up as carefully as he could over his shoulder without making the damage worse. "Hopefully... he'll be in less pieces than you." The question was where had 'Officer-Stabby' get to.

Things seemed like they were going well. The humans were fighting among themselves. But, a few of them managed to break through the grasp of insanity, turning their focus to the great dragon. Before too long, the final blow was dealt. They let out one final roar before dispersing back into the fogs from whence they came.
