Since there are so many volunteers, I wouldn't mind seeing a group based off a "lost boys" (from Peter Pan) idea. Some trouble making campers, like...
Lost Boy leader: the main instigator of the group, always leading where the others follow. If there's trouble, he/she's likely behind it.
Inventor: this is the lost boy's gadget maker. Some of the things he comes up with the councilors can't even figure out how they work.
Mess-Maker: the love of mud, dirt pies, bugs, and food-fights makes this lost boy an instant favorite in any group.
Twinsies: where some twins are opposites, these twins are simply double-trouble. They're masters of escape, too, managing to elude the councilors every time there is trouble.
