Sai isn't very tall and she knows it. She had been waiting sometime for the answer from the kage, but she figured the kage was either busy or not there. But the secretary told her the kage was in, so she decided to wait. She was sitting on a bench outside the door with her legs dangling because her feet didn't touch the floor.
She frowned at how high up the bench was. She almost had to jump to sit down. This place was obviously built for bigger people. When the answer did finally come, she gave a small jump. She was in her own little fantasy world. She was dreaming of herself as a grown sannin, defending her village and traveling the world.
She took a deep breath and hopped off the bench, her feet smacking the floor as she did so. She smiled and knocked on the door again. She opened it up, making sure to close it behind her, never turning her back to the kage for fear of showing disrespect. She gave a bow and smiled. She wasn't sure who should talk first. Maud said the kage of this village was very polite. In her culture, the lower rank talked first. So she decided to go with that.
"My Lord Kazekage, name is Sashia Naome, or Sai for short. I am a new graduate of the academy and just became a genin. Once I got moved in I was told to report here for my orders. So....here I am!" In everything she said she held eye contact and spoke with a firm, but sort of bubbly and excited voice. She was trying hard not to bounce up on her toes in delight for finally being here.

Kaori raised an eyebrow at the girl, so far rather unimpressed, but she knew meeting the Kazekage had to be nerve wracking, she remembered her first time meeting the Kazekage after all. She gave a small smile and then motioned her forward, "Welcome, and yes, you are supposed to report in to the KAzekage the instant you graduate so that you may receive your headband."Kaori reached behind herself and produced a headband from one of the numerous drawers in her desk and handed it over, Nova looked up from her spot in one of the sunnier spots in the room and rumbled, but other than that made no comment to the girl.

Sai was smiling er to ear with happiness at receiving her headband. She was so excited to finally be this far along. She put the band around her forehead and flicked it with a smile. "it's beautiful. Thank you so much." She bowed in respect and started to head out the door. What she didn't expect was a sudden noise to come out of the corner of the room. When she looked over, a giant tiger was laying in the sun of the window.
Sai smiled and bowed to the tiger. "My goodness. I have to say. You are even more beautiful then that of the light of the moon on even it's fullest of nights." She moved to where she was up to five feet away from the tiger and sat down cross legged. "May I," Sai asked as she held out a hand to pet her. Sai was confident in not getting attacked or bitten. She had heard of this tiger. She was a good friend to the kazekage. She wasn't sure if she would allow Said to pet her though.

Kaori snorted slightly when the girl, Sai, asked if she could pet Nova. She knew well that Nova adored attention, more like an overgrown house cat than a fierce battle-hardened tiger most days. Nova opened a single eye and looked the small girl over, then rumbled deeply and nodded her massive head and rolled over onto her back to show her belly, confident she could rend to shreds anyone who tried to hurt her tender underbelly before they got close enough, "Pets are always welcome, cub."Nova said as her tail lazily flicked back and forth.

Sai giggled at Nova's voice. She crawled forward and set next to Nova. She laid her upper torso on the white tigers stomach and began gently rubbing up and down her belly, listening to her purr and allowing the rumble to flow along her body. It was quite comforting really. Her entire upper torso wasn't even as large as the cat. "May I ask thy name o great hunter of the wild? My name is Sashia Naome."

Nova looked back at Kaori with the feline equivalent to a smirk, "See? This is how a tiger should be treated. I am Queen here, and this cub seems to know and accept this, and is giving me my due. My name, Cub, is Nova."Kaori just rolled her eyes and chuckled at her partner, amused despite herself.

Sai chuckled at Nova's words as she continued to gently stroke her belly and share in her warmth. She laid there for a few moments more before standing up and giving Nova a big smile. "I thank you for your time and I hope in the future you will take me on a hunt with you. I would love to learn from such a beautiful master such as yourself." She scratched underneth Nova's chin gently with a smile on her face and bowed once more to the Kazekage.
"Thank you again Lord Kazekage for the headband I won't let you or the village down. Is there anyone I should report to or should I just begin my training?" Sai knew of the local library she could use to gain access to some scrolls to learn some techniques. Then of course Maud had some scrolls on her Kekkei Genkai techniques. But she would rather have some help from someone who actually knew what they were doing.

Nova and Kaori both watched as Sai got up from petting and hugging Nova, then looked at each other, in complete agreement, that one would be a fun one to watch grow and develop as a Suna Shinobi. Kaori smiled and stretched, then made a hand sign and created a clone of herself in case she was needed, but sshe wanted out of the office for a bit. Perhaps she'd check in on the academy. "I don't currently have anyone to train you right now, though my brother has the same bloodline as you, yourself, so you could go see Iwao and his partner Grimm, but they may be surrounded by other genin. I will, however, assign you to him officially, you could learn much from him." She smirked and thought about her brother's reaction, but really, it was his own fault for being her only Jounin at the moment. She looked at Nova and silently asked if her partner would like to go to the academy with her. The large cat got up and shook out her beautiful white fur and nodded before she rubbed against Sai, nearly knocking the small girl over, "Let's go have some fun."

Sighing softly Busters confidence was brought back to him one hundred fold as he heard the voice of a pretty woman. Buster had heard the Kazekage was a beautiful woman with a handsome tiger with her. As he opened the door Buster would look through and see the pretty kazekage. Every fiber of his being wanted him to say what he thought about the lady but his physical composure remained as he walked in. "Lady Kazekage my name is Buster Ryuhei and i'm here to get my headband" His face was stern but on the inside his feelings were being intensified by envy.

She asked as she started to rummage in her headband drawer, she'd been busy giving them out lately, so she was running low, she'd have to have more delivered.

As she spoke Buster didn't notice the fact that she was a clone but knew that something was up with the lack of a gigantic tiger but pushed it to the back of his mind where Shura just sighed and called him an Idiot. Walking up to the desk Buster would look at the headband color choices and thought about the color he'd want. On one hand Shura was asking him to get anything in a shade of red but Buster vetoed them as fast as they came out. Looking them over he would point at the one to the far right. "The green one please." Despite his age Buster was smiling as if he was a young child again at the thought of becoming a full fledged shinobi.

Perhaps you could challenge me one day and we'll see how you fare."

As Kris got to the top of the tower she was breathing heavily, she hadnt stopped for a second since she left the dojo, and all the stairs really took it out of her. But she was so excited still! Taking in a deep breath she composed herself with a big grin on her face, she would walk through the door. "Kaori-sama~ I have a team!" She beamed, proudly at Kaori, her smile big and true, not only did she find a sparring partner, but she got a whole team together in the same day. This was one of the best days that Kris had ever had in her whole life. Finally, she felt like she wasn't so alone anymore. "Team Desert Thorns consisting of myself, Kristhyra Rozu Ikazuchi as leader. Tyrika Hakemoto, as our first member. Akitana Yaju as our tracker and finally Circe Hoshinigan as our final member and trump card." Kris paused and took a breath, waiting on the Kazekage's response and hopeful confirmation as permission.
