Reiko took a deep breath, looked up, and prepare to start apologizing for her behavior at the Trial, but oh dear, that poor Reaper ghoul looked utterly terrified, worse for the wear than Reiko herself, so she held off embarrassing herself further to give Lucinda a shy smile. "It is lovely to meet you, Miss Lucinda." She gave a little wave to the ghoul that ducked behind the monster boil from the trials (who had given his name oh goodness. Now was a good time to start the apologizing, she supposed.)

"Y-Yǐn Cáng," she was careful with the pronunciation, "I-I know this maynot be the best time or place, but I wish to apologize for my behavior during the Trial of Famine. I was...wrong to react the way I did and-"

Reiko was cut off mid-apology by suddenly having an arm wrapped around her. She let out a squeak, and had she been alive, her cheeks would've colored. They might somehow have, just a bit.

"I-I-Yes, how lovely to meet you, Miss Meixiang, I do indeed have classes with the Horsemen..."

Wow.

One second, it was just him and Yin. Next? They were literally surrounded by ghouls. There was Mei, then this Lucinda who wasn't sure she was in the right place, then the ghoul he had met briefly at the famine trials...and oh right, he had actually yelled at her. Great. And then from behind he heard a familiar voice and saw a flash of pink and white. Oh, it was Xiu! He hadn't seen her since...well, since scarentines day? That couldn't be right! He gave her a warm smile, and the hint of a wave, though she appeared to be more in the need of using Yin to hide from something.

And then there was yet another ghoul, approaching Lucinda and talking to her about the exchange program as well.

Alex honestly was beginning to feel like he could just shut up, smile, and nod occasionally and nobody would even notice.

If only things were ever that easy.

"Lucinda." He turned back to her, and patted the seat beside him "Why don't you just sit down? You look..nervous? Don't be! There are plenty of friendly people around here. You have famine for your second class? Me too! Maybe we can be..class buddies or something." He was just trying to be friendly, and also to look as reassuring as possible before eyeing Reiko carefully.

"Hello again." He nodded at her, voice cool. He had no intention on apologizing to her, because for one, he didn't even really no her, but she just looked so...distraught "Yes, we did meet on the beach. I'm sorry if I was a little..wound up. It was a stressful day, and I wasn't really acting like myself." He smiled now at her as well, though he wondered if she could even see him from behind all of that hair.

And then on to Mei. "Oh! An eyephone?" He said, happily grasping on to a conversation about something he really understood with a ghoul he might have considered a friend. "Sure, here, hold on..." He dug around in his pocket, pulled out his phone, and slid his thumb across the screen. Tapping the screen a couple of times to the contacts list, he held out the phone towards her. "Here, just enter in your info! We definitely need to go to the scarecade together after this exchange program is over." He said, before turning back to Yin, glancing at the other boil to make sure he was okay with being surrounded by so many new faces, so many new ghoul faces.

"Circus...Performers?" JD glared at both of them now, not even bothering to conceal his anger. They'd died. Ok, so it might not have been permanent, but still. Damn these horsemen and the horse they rode in on for being so shamelessly casual about the students' well being.

"I'm sure you are so choice, I don't even know WHY I worried about you, gal pal." He stormed away from Auri then. Let her deal with whatever they threw at her her damn self. She'd learn soon enough. CIRCUS PERFORMERS!

Shehk actually paused to try and think of somebody else she would have sent that to, before frowning and sinking into her set, pulling her legs up onto the seat with her.

"Oh Man Siddie. You have no idea it's like. It's like a mini staring at you with the pet me eyes except Shehk has no idea she's doing it and everyone so knows." She was about to send another harassing text when Siddie spoke again and Sammy froze.

Oh. s**t.

"No nononononon Nooooooo! She doesn't I mean I just. You know I'm friends with Shehk like. Really good friends but we haven't never I just." She put the phone down biting her lip.

Her phone buzzed again and she looked down again. It was really hard not to snort at that and laugh just a little even if she was in the middle of potential Siddie rage mode.

IT was just too damn priceless even in the face of impending doom from Angry Siddie.

Amarus was still pretty sore about the Death trials. Nevertheless, she was here, ready for the exchance. It wasn't that bad an idea, she hoped. There were a lot of students milling about, which didn't particularly bother her very much-- most of them, she didn't recognize at all. She was slipping between clusters, looking for anything resembling a seat, even if she was just going to crouch on it or use it to lean on. Her bells chimed, and her lotus-eater aura curled up around her, lending her skin a soft glow. As per usual, she walked slightly above the ground, her feet never touching, the flesh growing more transparent the lower down her body one looked.

At first, she was reasonably sure she was doomed to wander the crowd alone until something interesting happened. That did not particularly bother her, but it was always so nice to see someone she knew. Which was when she heard Mort's voice. She tried to pinpoint its location, wandering around a little more until she found him.

Her mirror-blank eyes lit up a little. "Hey, Mort," she addressed him, approaching without hesitation. Despite that little bit of initial warmth, her face was a mask of disinterest as she looked at the other two who were near him. She didn't recognize either of them particularly well, except... She stared at Herryk for a moment. Yeah, she had seen him with the Valkyrie at the maul that one time, hadn't she? In the middle of a fight with the Hizzy. Maybe. She hadn't talked to either of them, so it was hard to tell.

"Excited for the exchange?" she asked them all. It was kind of hard to tell if she was sarcastic or not, as her voice did not really change intonation.

Good thing Willow wasn't near Demi enough to hear that. She read the text and chuckled. She wasn't sure which personality this was, she knew Demi had sort of a split deal going on. Her tail flickered as she typed.
