"I, Gravellon King of ______, come seeking my daughter! Hand her over or there will be blood fiends!" the dragon-king roared, his threat emphasized as he decapitated the bronze statue standing atop the square fountain.
Scarlett, her jaw dropped in shock at the chances of this happening, stared wide-eyed at her father and his honor guard.

Well this was a new one. Most of the SC's summoners obtained rarely had this happen to them. Though with her laying on his lap Cress really couldn't do much of anything. They were bound to get caught, yet somehow he wasn't really that intimidated by her father.

"What makes you think I'd wanna come back home?" Scarlett yelled back at her father, still hidden among the crowd.

"Sorry honey... it was just a thought I had. I didn't expect it to come true.." he said with a slight frown.
When the King heard his daughters voice he commanded everyone to get out of his way. Eventually finding his daughter Gravellon's jaw dropped. "W-What this!? You look as if you've swallowed an elephant lizard whole!" he cried out.

"Nice to see you too dad..." She mutters, folding her arms across her chest as her tail unhappily lashed the ground behind her.
"You know... most parents would be excited at the prospect of grandchildren..." she countered with a frown.

"Grand...GRANDCHILDREN!!??" he gasped looking over at Cress then back at her, then back at Cress again. "You mean to tell me that you're bearing this rotten Human's children!? Utter nonsense! I've come all this way just to bring you back to marry the Duke from the south and you're PREGNANT!!!"
Drawing his sword he pointed it at Cress. "I will slice you down for bewitching and seducing my daughter! I will not have rotten Human offspring!!" He growled lunging for Cress.
To his surprise Cress acted fast and cast the leviation spell on Grevellon just as he was about to get peirced. Floating in the air the king flailed about like a fish out of water.
"L-Let me down you Cur!! How DARE YOU!!" he growled. The guards seemed to now be surrounding Cress.

Clawed bared and ready to use, Scarlett lashed out with her tail tripping up the nearest guard. "Back OFF!" she growled. Looking at each other, the remaining guards took a few steps backwards, their spears still aimed as Cress.
"What makes you think I would marry that slob?" She said, staring up at her father as he flailed there in the air. "Did you even stop to consider that I might love this human? After all, I've been gone nearly 2 years..."

"L-Love..a Human!? I thought you hated their kind?" he asked with confusion, as he feel to the ground with the 'fwump'.
Cress passes out from exhaustion. Using too much magic causes him to have that problem. The guard still point their spears at him, but are very afraid of Scarlett.
Standing to his feet, her father walks up to her and looks down. "Hmmm...do you really love this...hu-Man?" he asked looking at the unconcious Cress. "He seems so puny, so scrawny..out of all the large and powerful warriors I've set up for you..you desire him? Why? What makes this Human so special?" he asked crossing his arms.

Gravellon sighed. "Hmmm...you are truly in love. I am happy my daughter. Fine, fine I understand. I guess I'll just have to deal with it. Though you still annoy me somewhat. Why did you not just tell me? I always thought you rejected those other warriors because you had one in mind?"

"I see...do I really seem that intimidating? I truly love you, and if this is what you want then I understand..." snapping his fingers the guards back off and form a lign behind Gravellon.
"I shall make leave then. I shall tell your mother of your desicion. Find a way to show us the children, when you birth them. This is a little..awkward..but congradulations on your children." he said with a small turn before ordering his men back into his ship.

"Wait..." she said as he began to walk away.
Sitting Cress down on the bench, she trotted back over to her father. "Thank you for understanding..." she said, kissing him and placing his hand atop her growing belly. "Come back in five months or so and you can see them yourselves."

For the longest time, he gave her a kind smile. Gently hugging his daughter Gravellon placed his hands upon her shoulders. "You look just like your mother. Now you will know the joys children can bring. I will make sure to pay you both a visit. I know your mother would like to see you."
Looking over at the unconcious human he smirked a little. "Keep him safe, because next time I want to give him my blessing. He is going to be my succesor that is. You have told him that you're of royalty?"
