Rep managed to haul himself out of the world of freezing whiteness in a hurry, disorientated for a few moments as he checked to make sure he was the right way up and that he was still clinging to Tracey for dear life. However, just as he DID get up, he glanced sidelong only to spot a flash of green which he assumed was Rin, being slammed hard into the snow. He cringed for just a second and considered turning and making a mad run for it while the creature was distracted, it'd take a while to eat her right?
But then with a sinking feeling he realised he had no ******** clue where they even were, he'd been too busy mostly watching Jordan..s footprints on the way here rather than what he should have been like where the ******** they were going. He wouldn't know where to even run back TO.
"FOR ******** SAKE" he snarled as faced with no fight options he was left to fight, this time turning the blade to cut into the angle of the wind as he swung the axe at the Yeti.

Rin was rather painfully shoved deeper face first in the snow. She tried to flail free.. but it was clearly not going to happen. She was trapped under the snow and needed a better plan than bicycling her legs feebly in the air. Oh Rin. You are so ********/>(( HP - 35 DMG - NO. CHARGE 0/3 ))

Jordan's boots sank deep into the snow as he dropped over the other side of the tree trunk, silently cursing the delay. Had the aim been deliberate? The information he'd been given said that yetis were less than brilliant, but the way the tree had fallen was remarkably convenient for the creature. If it had been deliberate, it meant that the yeti had identified him as a bigger threat, and he'd likely be the primary target now. Well, better him than them; he'd had more time to train and get tougher.
Rep had landed a good hit on the creature, but it had swatted Rin deep into the snow. That would be a problem if she couldn't free herself; she would be a sitting target. Jordan lunged in close, ducking the yeti's paws while he got a good hold on the back of Rin's parka and hauled her free of the clinging snow, shoving her back out and away from the yeti.

OH GOD OH GOD WHY DID IT HURT SO MUCH Ok ok, just remember, this wasn't his REAL body, this was just a... a pile of dirt, or whatever. Just his brain playing tricks on him. Even so, the yeti lumbered back with a wild howl, crashing backward with what looked like a wildly flailing gesture, his massive beefy hand catching Rep in a stinging bitchslap, if only to throw him away from close range. Rep, after swinging at the yeti glanced over to where Rin was in the snow, just to see if she was a red smear yet, and caught sight of her wildly flailing legs.
He laughed his ******** head off.
Until he got swiped back from the yeti by his frenzied bitchslap, going reeling backwards, Tracey's blade accidentally nicking the yeti's arm as he did so, landing once again with a fwump in a drift.

Rin was grateful for the help... really she was. But she still glared. She could have gotten out on her own. She wasn't just some bullshit damsel in distress.
"I could have gotten out on my own, sir." She remarked softly. Weather or not he heard her over the whistling wind and the noises of the beast and Rep laughing were subject to be seen.
Speaking of Rep laughing however, her head whipped around to stare him down as he did... and then got slapped. Smiling ear to ear, heh, it served him right for being a p***k.
Still.
Her gaze turning on the beast, brows furrowed as she ran after him again. Flailing Byr in the air as she ran after them. This time she got close enough to aim his blade across the creatures shin or shin equivalent. All the while roaring a make-shift battle roar.

With the rest of her Mist troop Mercedes helped to move the debris and clear the floor since it was what the other girls were doing. She used the end of Hadjoc to nudge away some of the heavier planks and such. All the more to help out with.

Jordan ignored the glare. There were more important things to worry about than bruised pride. When Rep laughed, though, Jordan scowled, though it likely wasn't visible under the scarf and goggles. The yeti seemed to take offense as well. Or perhaps it was just targeting the noise.
"FOCUS," Jordan shouted over the wind. "DON'T GET DISTRACTED. YOU CAN FLIRT LATER." That should piss both of them off. He grinned and desummoned, grabbing for the chain at his hip. Ferros, don't get offended.
If I don't get to feed you won't be sleeping for a week, the weapon snarled.
I hear you. Jordan spun the chain, watching the yeti with narrowed eyes; when it next lifted its forepaw, he cast, watching with satisfaction as the chain's end whipped around the yeti's paw, wrapping itself tight. He braced himself and hauled on the chain, pulling it taut to slow the yeti's movements. "NOW," he yelled.

Jerry let loose a slightly more panicked roar as the chain coiled around him. Just... just ignore the pain the pain wasn't real! With a few panicked grunts, the yeti seemed distracted by the sudden device wrapped around it's scrawny leg, hobbling and tugging frantically to try to free itself. C'mon, c'mon, there ws still plenty of fight left in the golem, but there wouldn't be for long if this kept up! HP: 18 Status: CHAINED! Damage is halved! Attack: MISS Target: MISS

Even while hauling himself out of the snow all over again, Rep heard Jordan's comment loud and clear, shooting the other sun a decidedly venomous glare. Like he'd FLIRT with someone as ******** insufferable as Rin! She was the exact kind of woman he hated...well..the exact kind he hated more than any other kind of woman anyway.
He didn't bother trying to shout back abuse through the wind though, instead got right back to doing his job and attacking the yeti, launching himself at its chained bulk

Rins head shot back around to give Jordan a contemptuous glare. Like hell she was ever going to flirt with such an intolerable a*****e. Instead. He was going to emasculate him at every chance she got.
So, when the order came to attack again - she took Reps attack to mean to attack TWICE AS HARD. Swinging Byr around to slash at the restrained behemoth with all her might behind him.
Seeing the results... well.. that crazed look in her eye. It was one of both fascination and twisted delight. She shook it off though just enough to tug her scarf down and give Rep a fleeting smug smirk before hauling it back up again and going at the ready again.

Fini's lips quirked up, gaze looking over Bix. "Oh really? Remind me to have you show me some of those poses then!" She grinned and teased the other right back before nodding. In a similar flash, Vashi was summoned and two sais swords appeared in her hands. Her fingers curled comfortably around their hilts.
:: Stay alert, precious. :: Vashi's voice rumbled through her mind.
"Got it." Nodding, Fini moved to position herself between two of the holes. She slowly looked around, keeping half her attention on Bix and the other half on their surroundings. "Hopefully." She murmured, feeling a chill go down her spine that had nothing to do with cold. What...had that sound been?
:: Vashi, please tell me that was you? ::
:: Not this time. :: Of course not.
"I don't like it." Fini said with a frown, eyes narrowing slightly. "It's too quiet over here. Especially with these damn holes." Something had to have created them, right? So what had it been?

"Yes, sir, sorry, sir," Sasha fumbled to start moving some of the debris aside with the other girls, watching her footing. Somehow she didn't think that Aria would appreciate her breaking a leg. She was very much intimidated by the Mist leader, but Sasha couldn't help but admire the way that Aria handled all of the hunters beneath her, trainee and intermediate alike. < What is this, some sort of awful Skinderella story? How very tedious, my Sasha. Go touch that beautiful woman's hair. I bet it is quite soft, hmm?> Nona, now is not the time, please. Please.< Then run your hand along that hooded man's cheek. So magnificent, that one.> Oh God, Nona. Oh God, why are you doing this?< Nona is bored. It is hardly entertaining, this spring cleaning project we've been ordered to complete.> Sing a song or something. A nice song.< Oooh, how divine. A fantastic idea, my Sasha.> Sasha grimaced. That had been too easy. < Whatever Nona wants... Nona gets.> "I didn't hear anything," Sasha squeaked in answer to Candace. No, it was far too busy in the poor girl's head for her to hear anything except for Nona, especially with so many pretty people around.

Quote: As she was being hailed, Aria looked up and approached Madison to glance up at the ceiling. "The barrier is pretty advanced Life technology; Dr. H could give you the specifics, otherwise yes there's a barrier to keep out the elements. As far as keeping anything else out, look." She used the device she held to point towards the holes, gesturing from the points of entry to the debris. "Look at how much wreckage is on the inside, and how the holes seem to curve in. That means that something did manage to make it into the base. One of the holes looks a bit different -- it wouldn't surprise me if something was thrown with enough force through the wall." Madison listened carefully as Aria explained about the barrier, nodding in response, then letting out a small sigh once the senior Hunter had gone to tend to the others. She wasn't sure if Aria's explanation was worrying or not, but it at least suggested that maybe whatever caused this wasn't stuck inside with them... maybe. She glanced over in time to see the FEAR meter Dillon had been fiddling with activate briefly, then die. "Huh... that's weird. Maybe one of the control runes got damaged, or something?" She wasn't sure exactly how runic technology worked, but she was pretty sure that damaging the runes themselves led to weird, bad things. Right. Technology. They didn't both need to be staring at the same FEAR meter. "I'm going to take a look at this other stuff," she explained, offering Dillion a tentative smile before moving a few feet away to examine the pieces of the printer. Weird, to find something like this so thoroughly wrecked - printers weren't usually important, were they? Madison crouched next to the largest piece, examining the odd ashy smudge there.

Gale was frowning as he shifted aside a few more of the cords, pulling the system unit out further so that he could look at the back more easily. Considering that just wiggling the cords around had done nothing in particular except send up a whole lot of dust from the debris, it would seem that it was not just a few disconnections - there were several empty spaces on the system unit as though cords had been deliberately pulled out.
He glanced over at Sydney as Aria stepped over, brushing his hands against his pants.
"You're right," he said, and pushed some of his bangs aside, hands on his hips as he looked down at the computer. It did seem quite odd that there was one in better condition than the rest, one of which was downright demolished, scraps of metal and plastic spread across the room.
"I think there are cords missing from this one," said Gale, gesturing towards the system unit again. He lifted one, trailing it across towards the counter where Doctor H was sitting rather placidly. The cords still remaining plugged in were trailing behind the counter, to a place he couldn't reach.
Gale frowned again.
"Let's find out where those cords went," he said to Sydney. "Why don't you start looking over there, and I'll look here..."
That being said, Gale ducked down beneath the table and went to look for the missing computer cords, moving aside bits of debris in the process.
