Shehk grinned at Merope's comment. "Well, I'll get it all stiff for ya, but after that you'll have to take care of un-stiffening it by yourself, alright?"
It would be a couple of minutes before she took a pause, groaning and letting go of it, rubbing her cheeks. "Jack, that's really hard to blow, Merope. It makes my cheeks hurt a bit. I can see why you needed help with this. Phew!"
She resumed blowing, and then after a few minutes had to comment again:
"This thing is so much bigger than it looked a few minutes ago, it might take me longer than I thought." she noted with a frown.

Sammy had lingered in the back of the room arriving late, just in time to catch the announcement causing one of her eyebrows to raise up curiously. Slowly she moved through the rows between the aisles slipping in long enough to squeeze between the groups stopping to give Siddie a light kiss on the cheek, and Shehk a friendly wave.
"Interesting guest we have today...." She turned towards Riley now frowning a bit, it was rare to see the Flayer so blatantly frustrated or dare she even say it angry. Leaning forward she rested on one of the chairs behind her. "You okay Riley?"

"Ah- that is - I-" Merope stuttered, embarrassed. "But, that is, you see. I..." He leaned close to her, confessing. "I don't know how to. I mean, I know enough to get it like... This." He stopped to gesture towards Shehk's hands, speaking as she continued to blow. "I can't do that. I mean, just look at me." He gestured next at himself in one area in particular, shifting uncomfortably in his seat. "I mean I know that I should be able to do it but I kind of can't not because I, well, okay so maybe I sorta don't know how but..." He trailed off, falling silent to watch her. At her latest comment, Merope couldn't help but to duck his head in embarrassment. "Ye-eah, that's why I asked for help. Maybe we should get someone else to help out too or...?"

Shehk patted Merope on the shoulder, continuing to blow and shrugging. After a moment, she pulled away from it, feeling up how firm it had gotten in her hands with a somewhat satisfied look on her face.
"Nah, I think I've got you covered. Besides, it makes more sense for me to do it than you to do it yourself. I mean...... you shouldn't.. have to do it yourself?" she tried to make a connecting thought instead of one that floated around in her head before she laughed.
"Besides, I've kind of slobbered on it a bit, and I don't think anybody else wants either of our germs from this thing." She took a moment to stretch out her jaw, feeling it pop before she was satisfied it wouldn't lock up. "Alright, I'm almost done here, you just relax and let me finish up, then you can go have a good time with it. Though I'll admit I kind of want to play with it too when I'm done. Is that alright?"

Freya looked blissfully happy instantly as Mort assured her that he still liked her, and then dropped back into Herryk's lap, only to reach out and pull her sister into her arms. Nothing that ghoul could say or do would bring Freya down, today. She felt too good. So very good. Way too good. Suspiciously good. "I love you Hel." She cood, snuggling into her sister. It was an inappropriate response for what Hel was saying, but it was how she felt anyway! The assembly was nice and short, and told her nothing she cared about. If anything, having more horsemen here just meant more interesting people. She shrugged, still holding her sister in a half-headlock hug, and relaxed. "At least it wasn't long winded and boring."

No, Sammy. Riley's eyes had severely darkened, and she stood up rather abruptly, giving Invictus a soft nod before taking Jericho's hand. Her eyes were still very sternly focused on the ambassador on the stage.
I am not.
She stormed out of the auditorium, absolutely livid, dragging Jericho carelessly behind her.

Quick and too the point, her arms crossed as she watched the mind flayer storm out. Jericho dragged along with her it left Invictus standing there among them. She didn't say anything towards the horsemen instead focusing back on the strange guest.
"Hey Sid.... what do you make of all this? Exchange program and all." She wanted an outside opinion before she put more thought into her own. On one hand their was something very, tempting about the exchange, but she wanted to know more about what she could gain before she agreed to anything. As for the horsemens protection, well, it couldn't hurt much could it considering the state of recent affairs?

"Well," Merope began, uncertain. "It is mine, so in a way it's kind of my responsibility... But I did need help with it. I mean, I did try myself on a different one, but I couldn't get up." He sighed, his shoulders slumping. "I don't even know how long I spent. I mean, I even tried searching the interwebs for more information and some guidelines but I still couldn't get it." At the news of her being almost done, Merope perked up for the first time in months. "Really?" His voice had a faint waver of hope in it as he looked at it, a flicker of cyan running through his gray markings. "It's almost done? I... yeah! Of course you can! Should we play with it here or go somewhere else or...? I mean. I don't mind if others want to play with it too."

Christof was mulling over the new information, unsure of how it would effect him, really... but protection sounded good. He didn't know much about The Four Clans- he was sure his Master knew, but that hadn't been in any of his lessons, really. Obviously, they were important. He'd have to discuss it with-
Further ponderings were cut short as a foot suddenly swung into his side, sending him toppling from his spot just at Riley's feet. By the time the stars had cleared and he was able to focus, he saw violet tentacles whisking from view. Without so much as a goodbye.
With a whine, he gathered himself up to his feet, rubbing his side softly, Er... goodbye, Mistress... he wasn't sure the thought even reached her.
He supposed he should report his findings to Barth, at least.
Head hung, he glanced over to where Zar had just vanished to. Good. he was gone.
He didn't have any further questions- or rather, what questions he had were not easily asked, his situation considered, and so he gave a polite bow to his fellow Student Council members before limping his way towards the doorway as well.

Temperamental? Xiu smiled weakly at this, toying with her braid absentmindedly as she spoke. "They...well. While I've never spoken to one of them one on one, the four of them have an extremely commanding presence. I...I don't believe that they're pleased by what happened last time either." Of course they weren't. From what she heard--but it could have been that she was mistaken--the Horsemen had been forced to leave with the Hunters because the students had been threatened.
Granted that they had all been forced to dissipate after anyways. Death by fire had not been a very pleasant experience.
As for Amphi's first question? Xiu frowned as she considered this, closing her eyes. "Well...it would be an interesting experience, I admit. At the same time, though, I'd be worried about my friends here in Amity." If members of the Four Clans did temporarily join the school, however, she supposed that there was no reason that she should worry, but...
"And you?" Opening her eyes, she looked at the mermaid and smiled. "What would you do, if given the choice?"

"I don't know yet," Siddie answered slowly. She wound a lock of hair around her finger and added, "This is just what they're telling us. Us as in everyone, I mean. We already know that there's a lot we're not told." She reached back to tug on her hood; Chili obligingly climbed over her shoulder and into her arms to be cuddled. Siddie stroked the drutten's fur, staring up at the stage; finally, she finished, "But the only way we're going to know what's up is by watching what happens."

"Might be funner to play with it in a group if you haven't used it in a while." she agreed, "But here or there is up to you...and if our visitor won't kill us for fooling around in here." she added, nodding firmly before turning her attentio to finishing blowing what Merope had asked her to.
It was a few more minutes, but Shehk panted as she finished up, grinning. "There! It is ready to go now!" she beamed, her face flushed as she finished up her task, pinching her cheeks to get the feeling back into her face before she held out the completed product between the two of them. "It really does look like a lot of fun...."

Considering how impossible it was for him to blow it, Merope had not used the item in question in awhile. A long while. He looked down at his hands and considered pulling his talons out one by one to ensure that he didn't pop it, but then again pulling his own fingernails out by his teeth could possibly be too much for the non-undeads present in the assembly still.
And yet... He couldn't help but to reach out and touch it with a feeling of awe. "It's... it's so cool," Merope breathed, biting his half-lip. "We should probably go outside with it, 'cause I don't think there's enough room in here." He paused, adding, "Plus I don't think we'd ever get it back. Do you know of a good place where we could play?"

Jericho never really had a chance to hear the answer to his question or anyone else's really. He had noticed Riley's frustration, but he wanted to know what these answers were. Glancing to the Mindflayer briefly as he heard her speaking to Sammy, he realized that she seemed to be getting even angrier.
"Ah, wait!" he called as he stumbled from pretty much being dragged on out.
Well. Maybe he could get the notes from someone later. Or something.
