I dunno Radio. I think you could pull off Yuuffie just fine! I've even been tinkering with a design for a star dagger that would be amtgard legal
thus safe for most of the cons that i've gone to. It would just take some time and a decent amount of PVC, and possibly borrowing my friend's rebreather for the cementing, else wise the parts are likely to slip out of place and we wouldn't want that.
All I would need, if i'm doing my math correctly, is five 8 inch (20.32cm) pieces, eight 3 inch (7.62cm) pieces, four elbow connectors, and four cross connectors of 1/2 inch (2.54cm) PVC for the frame. Approximately two rolls of camp pad foam, a full bottle of Loctite medium strength adhesive spray, and a knife for the blades/sides, making sure to courtesy pad the areas that aren't strike legal. For the grip if i could get hold of some pleather tape I'd use that but as is i'd probably use electrical tape. If I knew how to properly bend the PVC with hot water it would make it a little easier but I do not, so deal. The above design should make a star dagger (if i'm doing my math right) that is approximately 22 inches (55.88 cm) without padding at it's widest point, and depending on the style you use for the blades themselves approximately 25 inches (63.5cm).
