Freya was thoroughly enjoying the way Herryk looked at her. It made her feel all tingly and light. She floated back into his arms, refusing to let him go anymore.

"Freya does not wants to go back into those rooms. Yehr new job is to carry me as far away from this house as possible, and hides me from my family until I has to walk down that aisle. Deal?"

She looked down the stairs, and her smile faded. "Aaactually, I change my minds." Her voice softened notably. "Can we go finds Hel and Mot? I thinks, maybe, she deserves an apology."

A silken chuckle tickled her senses from behind, and she clutched Herryk tighter, turning cold in his arms.

"You? Apologize?" Thor was leaning against the doorframe, watching them with feigned disinterest. "Your pet must have an.. interesting influence on you. The Freya I knew would never apologize for anything."

Herryk's expression had softened when Freya mentioned seeking out Hel and Mot. He was proud of her for that -- it took a lot of guts to admit that an apology was in order. Herryk's lips lifted in a smile though the soft movement of his lips stilled when he heard Thor's voice. Herryk's entire body tensed up. Flicking his eyes upward, the smile that had half-formed on Herryk's lips sank into a small, mocking sneer.

It was the only sign of acknowledgement that Herryk gave to Thor before he gently took Freya's lips with his own. The primal gesture was an obvious claim. It was a tender kiss, one that Herryk deepened with a movement of his thumb against Freya's chin. The kiss lasted... and lasted... until finally Herryk pulled away, brushing the pad of his thumb against Freya's lower lip.

"Mmm. The Freya that Herryk knows..." he chuckled, dismissing Thor with a mere glance, "is the most wonderful Freya."

Thor's voice, as far as Freya was concerned, was the perfect signal for them to get the hell out of there as soon as possible. She looked up at Herryk, her eyes pleading to get her out, but the look she received was nothing short of breathtaking. Every hair on her body stood on end when he pressed his lips against her, but it was only the moment he pushed into her that her widened eyes fluttered closed helplessly, and a pathetic little noise escaped her throat.

There was no possible doubt, by the way she melted against him, that Freya was very happily Herryk's ghoul.

She couldn't exactly hear whatever Herryk was saying. It was too difficult to open her eyes, let alone hear anything but the rush of blood racing through her veins. She was flushed, her cheeks so red they felt like they were burning. Her legs felt like jelly.

She was really starting to like possessive!Herryk.

"I, yeah, hah.." Freya rambled loosely, giggling. "Kay.. this.. we go. Uh, what was I sayings..?"

She was lucky if she could remember where she was, but there was one thing she had absolutely, and delightfully forgotten - Thor's presence. Completely.

The male valkyrie in the doorway was no longer leaning smugly. In the course of the few minutes that, to the couple, felt like forever, he had managed to stand up straight, lose the smile, and by this time his fists were curling and uncurling in seething anger. Thor was not as good at hiding his true feelings as Sif was. He was plainly, and clearly, mad.

"Well." Thor muttered through his teeth. "Isn't that nice for you."
PostPosted: Sat Nov 19, 2011 8:16 pm

Herryk chuckled. Yes, it was nice for him. Very nice. Thor was forgotten as he wrapped an arm around Freya's waist. Well, mostly forgotten. Herryk still wanted to plant a fist in the middle of Thor's smarmy face. It would feel really, really good, but the last thing Herryk wanted to do was start any sort of discord between family. It was obvious, though, that Herryk was feeling rather pleased with himself. The fact that he'd incited anger in Thor? Ahh, the best feeling ever.

"To find Mot and Hel, ladybird," he rumbled in her ear. "Herryk thinks they are still in the other den. Can Freya walk or should Herryk carry her?" The last comment was made teasingly, not that Herryk would mind carrying Freya. Herryk turned towards the stairs, turning back at the waist to reach for Freya's hand.

"Don't be ridiculous, Freya cans-"

She took a step forward, and her knee jellied eloquently, falling back against Herryk and sliding down his body.

".. cans use yehr help, I suppose. Hopes I don't has this problem when the wedding starts.. yehll have to carry me down the aisle." She laughed, turning to look up at him - and blinked in surprise at re-noticing Thor.

"Oh. Yehr still here? Weeeird.. Okay let's go!"

Herryk scooped Freya up into his arms, moving down the stairs and effectively ignoring Thor. Hopefully that would be the last time that Herryk had to waste his figurative breath on the slimy jerk.

"Herryk is not sure where Valdis's den is at," he mumbled in Freya's ear as they neared the bottom of the stairs. He started moving in the opposite direction of the den they'd slept previously. Herryk was vaguely certain he was going in the right direction.

"Oh, it's right next to Papa's dens, sees that sliding doors there- wait, no, you're passings it-"

She climbed up over his shoulder when he passed it, practically squirming around completely in his grasp to try and point in the right direction.

"Those doors there, baby boil. Yeh slides them open just like Papa's - why are the doors closed, anyways..?" A very skeptical look crossed Freya's face.

Herryk shook his head with a chuckle. He turned as she directed, though he paused outside the closed doors.

"Freya should knock first."

Well, duh, that was a given. He wasn't sure if there was anything going on between Hel and Mot, but if there was, he didn't want to interrupt. Far be it from him to get in the way of anyone's relationships -- as far as he was concerned, Hel and Mot were old enough to look after themselves.

"Bored and miss you." Mot corrected with a laugh.

He hummed to himself as Hel finished off the rest of his hair, touching the braids in his hair curiously. Wasn't this.. kind of ghouly? Hel seemed to like them though!
Mot got to his feet, moving to the mirror to see what this hairstyle looked like.

While he still wasn't 100% certain about the braids, he did love the style. It was the same as when Hel had done it his once before. "I like it." Mot said with a nod. "You need to show me how to do this." He turned to Hel with another smile. He'd never played with hair before. He'd never even made a ponytail in his life.

Ha, good save there, friend.” Hel murmured a smiling pulling at her lips before it faded back into a curious expression. As Mot rose to his feet, the ghoul leapt off of the couch and trailed after him, peering into the mirror with him as well as he looked over the hairstyle. Her smile returned once he said he liked it, and she was just beaming when he asked her to teach him how to do it. “Of course! It’s very easy, I will be happy to teach you how to do that.”

The braids? Hel loved them.

Behind Herryk and Freya, would be a valkyrie mother who was a bit impatient. “Oi, yeh two!” She called, "If yehr all ready, out to the tent with yehs! Freya, go introduce yehr boil to the family, tell ‘em how yehr doing at the Academy.” Whether they were also ready for it or not, she readily pushed past them to just flat out open the sliding door to her den. Good thing Mot and Hel weren’t up to any indecent shenanigans!

The youngest valkyrie blinked as the door opened and her mother stepped inside.

OI, Hel!” Her mother cried out, exasperated. “Yehr not even out of yehr pajamas yet!?” Valdis strode over to her daughter, placing her hands on her shoulders and started to push her out of the room. “Yeh go upstairs right now, and get ready! Fulla and Idunn will help yeh with yehr hair!” Hel looked exasperated and a bit worried. What about Mot!? Who was gonna watch Mot for her? Her mother seemed to be on her wavelength though, as she piped up. “I gots Raven bird boil a spot next to meh, so look for us when yehr done with yehr journey down the aisle, alright?”

Hel looked over her shoulder, giving Mot a look that said ‘remember, no laughing’ and then a wave as she was ushered out of the room and in the direction of the stairs. Once she was out, Valdis let go of her shoulders, and she paused to face Freya and Herryk. Hel’s brow furrowed, and she stared at her sister for a long moment, hard, contemplatively for suddenly announcing, “I won, you know. It will be a victory over you for a lifetime.” The phrase may have been a bit cryptic, but Freya knew full well what she was talking about, and then she spun on her heel and marched upstairs.

Valdis, in the door way, turned back to the cowboil, smiling at him warmly as she gestured at his hair. “That suits yeh very well! I think it looks very nice.” She grinned a bit. “Might I ask yeh the honor of escorting meh out to teh tent?” Valdis’ way of saying, ‘stick with me kiddo, I’ll keep you under my wing’.

Freya jumped in Herryk's arms and stared at her mother, wailing in lament when her mother started to push them out of the way. She fell back into place when the doors were opened, and Hel came face to face with her.

She was going to apologize. She was all ready, but that face. THAT FACE. It froze her in embarrassment. And then, the statement came. Freya fought with her primal instinct to argue, and gave her sister the most pitiful look she could muster.

It looked like apologizing would have to wait.

As her mother preened and fawned over Hel's boil, Freya rolled her eyes and climbed out of Herryk's arms. "Comes on, Herryk. Mama's too busy PLAYINGS FAVORITES to worry about where YEHR gonna sits." She huffed brattily, dragging Herryk out of the den, out of the house, and storming straight for the tent.

Herryk sent an apologetic look over his shoulder towards Mot and Valdis. He wasn't sure what had just happened, but he was feeling more than a little awkward about it. It was fine by Herryk that Valdis had taken Mot under her wing -- Herryk could handle himself after all -- and he wasn't sure why Freya was feeling huffy about it.

"Herryk is going to sit by Freya," he grunted as she dragged him outside. Why wouldn't he? He tugged back, hoping to halt her movements as they drew closer to the tent. "Well, when Freya is done walking down the aisle," he amended, preparing to dig his heels in if the tugging on Freya's hand was met with resistance.

Mot grinned back at Hel. He'd been wondering how to keep his hair tamed without a hat, and this method seemed to suit him.

Mot turned to the door as it was slid open, finding it was Hel'd mother on the other side. He uneasily smiled as Hel was shoved out, waving back and mouthing the words 'I promise' to her.

He looked back to Valdis, a warm smile spreading on his lips which soon turned into a grin. "I'd be happy to, little lady." He said with a slight tone of flirtation, simply because he was fond of the woman. He offered his arm to the taller woman, quite ready to escort her outside.

He didn't seem to realize she was the one protecting him.

Freya felt the tug, and stopped, turning up to look at the boil. They were out of the house, which visibly relaxed her, but all the guests were in the tent, quite a few steps away. Despite how she argued with her mother, she had been given a command, and it looked like she was going to listen - for once.

But she waited, because it seemed by the tug that Herryk wasn't ready. "Yes, yeh can sits with me. What's wrong?" She looked down at the hand, before turning up to him curiously once more. "Did yeh forgets something inside?"

Herryk grunted. One brow twitched before ever-so-slowly creeping upward. He punctuated the movement with another grunt.

"Freya is still going to apologize to Hel, hmm?"

Apparently mending sisterly bonds was more important to Herryk than meeting all of the guests. "Now might be a good time for Freya to go upstairs and talk to her sister? Herryk can ah.. wait in the tent?" He didn't want to have to talk to all of these strangers. If Freya went upstairs to talk to Hel, maybe he could just ... mill around behind the tent.

Unnoticed.

"It is a good idea, Herryk thinks."
