[ DM Post : Deku Mine : 1F ]
The Kokiri team finds themselves in a tiny room, with nothing of interest other than a large treasure chest. This chest is surrounded by four Popo monsters, similar to the previous chest in the basement. There seems to be nothing else here, but as Izzy runs into the room, he is caught unawares by two Skulltula, dropping down quickly at the entrance of the room.

[ Luke : Beneath the Well : B2 ]
With quick jabs from his Mole Mitts, Luke finished off the two Crabs, this time without getting hurt. The Urchins still weren't moving, so he let out a sigh and relaxed for a moment. "Man, I could go without seeing another crab as long as i live!" After walking around and examining the room for a moment, he decided to check out the stone slab... but it was surrounded by the Urchins. They apparently had no intention to hurt him, so he figured he'd just let them go on living... but they still had to move. He reached down to pick one up - and immediately dropped it back down, yelling a few choice expletives before sticking his fingers in his mouth, trying to somehow quell the pain. It finally faded after a moment, and he glared down at the creatures, which gave him the same blank expression, apparently completely oblivious as to what had just happened.
"Aww, it's hard to stay mad at them when they look so cute!"

After the Lizalfos is vanquished, a bit of light flashes on the Southern end of the land mass Phy is resting on, and a large chest suddenly appears! What could be inside?

[ Felin : Deku Mine : 1F ] Felin trots into the room, only to skid a bit after seeing the large spiders drop from the ceiling. She was a little scared of bugs, but seeing some so huge intensified that fear. She knew she had to help Izzy, but she couldn't move! It wasn't until Akin spoke that she came back around. "Come on, they're easy. Just wait until they turn their back.""Easy for you to say, you're not scared of...how...BIG they are." she quivered, trying to hold her sword and waiting for it to turn around. She went in to strike, but it spun wildly, knocking her back against the door and dropping her sword. She let out a scream as she did so, and searched for her sword. Unfortunately, it slid across the floor and was positioned on the other side of where the spider was. Looks like this was up to Izzy. --- [ Phyela : Beneath the Well : B2 ] "Hm?" Phyela turned in the direction of the light, seeing a large chest appear. Slowly she got to her feet and made her way over. After lifting the lid, and greeted by a blinding light in which she had to shield er eyes until she opened it all the way, she looked down into it. A simple rod similar to her own staff was in the chest. It had a blue orb with a white ring around it. The rod itself was also white. After picking it up, she gave it a confused glance. "But I already have a staff, what makes this one different?" she went to put it back when it suddenly coughed out a stream of ice as she moved her arm to hang at her side. Intrigued, she examined it further, and found "Ice Rod" engraved on it. Ice Rod? But I already know some water magic. Her skepticism and curiosity grew as she swung it around more, and each time it produced a trail of ice. But oddly, she felt no exhaustion of her own magic. She gave it a vicious swing, and a snowball seemed to be launched from the rod, landing in the water before slowly dissolving. Scratching her chin, she pointed the rod at the water, and a steady stream erupted from it, instantly freezing the water in the immediate vicinity. As she made a path in the pond, she spotted another vine wall that led to another alcove. She turned to head over there, slowly climbing the vines-which were as frail as the others-until she reached the alcove, spotting another chest here as well. Opening it, she found a purple rupee. Phyela gave a whistle, "How does money of this value end up down here?" she asked, stuffing it in her pocket and jumping back down to the ice, continuing along until she reached the other side. The door seemed unbarred, so she lifted it and pressed on to the next room.[[sorry for the long post, I just wanted to hurry to the next room sweatdrop ]]

[ DM Post : Beneath the Well : B2 ]
The next room Phy finds herself in is actually a very long hallway... But the odd thing about this hall is that it consists mostly of water. From the small patch of land she enters on, she will have to use the Ice Rod to form blocks to cross all the way down to the bottom of the room, where the hallway turns at a corner. Here there is another small bit of land, with a small treasure chest. There are two Keese perched on the top of this chest. After turning the corner, there is more water, leading up to a final patch of land, where she will find the door to the next room.________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ [ Izzy : Deku Mine : 1F ]As Felin struggled with one Skulltula, Izzy decided to take care of the other one. He fired his slingshot when it turned its back, just as he had with the one in the basement. It spun back around, but soon revealed its underbelly again, and he fired another shot, killing the creature. It disappeared in a puff of smoke, web and all, and Izzy turned to the side to see how Felin was doing. "Are you alright?" he asked, even though he saw that she had lost her sword. Well, they'd get it back soon enough. He fired a shot at the second Skulltula, moving over a bit now that the first one was dead, and he had a little space to move. Once it turned back around, he shot it again, and it followed the same path as its partner. "Well, that takes care of that," Izzy said, letting out a deep breath.

[ Luke : Beneath the Well : B2 ]
Using his head this time, Luke decided to move the Urchins away from the stone slab by pushing them with his pole staff. They made no protest, and simply stayed put once they were moved, so he figured they weren't angry about it. Once they were all a few feet away, he could finally examine the slab. He approached it and stared at it, knocking on it a few times with his knuckles, but it didn't seem special in any way. He moved over to the right side of it and tried to push it, but it wouldn't budge at all.
"Wow, that's heavy!" Luke said as he caught his breath. He moved over to the other side to try moving it the other way, but no luck there either. It seemed it couldn't be moved... Not by his strength, anyway. So that would mean the only option would be...
He turned around to look at the rock wall behind him, then shrugged and immediately went to work. The Mole Mitts dug through the cream-colored rock rather quickly, and once on the other side, he saw two levers stuck in the wall. "TWO of them?!" he asked incredulously, to no one in particular. He shook his head, let out a long sigh, and moved over to the levers. Obviously, one of these would move the stone slab. But which one? And what would the other one do? Oh well, no time to think about it, since he wouldn't find out until he pulled them. He grabbed the one on the left first, and started pulling it out. It took a little while, though not as much as the levers in previous rooms, but he eventually got it extended all the way, and a loud CLACK could be heard, followed by a hole opening in the ceiling. Out of this trap door fell four Crab monsters, which landed on the floor and immediately started scuttling around.
Luke let out a long sigh as he readied himself for battle again, fully aware that he had brought this on himself by his previous statement about crabs. "I spoke too soon..."

[ Felin : Deku Mine : 1F ] Felin nodded as she got up. She dusted herself off, "I'm fine. I was just scared a little." she went over to her sword and picked it up. She'd have to remind herself to be more careful from now on. She looked to the end of the room, and saw four Popos dancing around a large chest. They'd be no trouble if she didn't step in one, although it might be amusing for Izzy to see a repeat performance. No, she'd just punt one if it got too close. And she had to, as a Popo suddenly veered off course in a spastic and sudden movement. The monster was sent into the wall from her foot, and it quickly squirmed away, keeping to the wall before slowly coming back to join with its brethren. A different one soon followed, and it seemed her foot was only an intimidator. They'd need to be disposed of, all of them, she thought. Hacking at the closest one, it squirmed away, only to continue after a moment of fear. She swiped at the next, and it did the same thing. One more hit ought to finish them off, she told herself as she stabbed the last. "I almost feel bad that we have to kill these things." she spoke.--- [ Phyela : Beneath the Well : B2 ] Phyela was greeted by a wall, and noticed it branched out into a tunnel on her right. Another pool greeted her, this one taking up the majority of what could be considered the "floor". She dug out her compass and it pointed south, but loking down there, all she saw was a chest, and beyond it, a wall. hy wasn't it pointing at Luke like before? Oh well, if it could direct towards treasure, that seemed good enough to her. She wasn't the type to hoard, but whatever she found, she was sure either her or the Indigo sisters could make use of, provided it was magic-related. Waving her Ice Rod, she pointed it at the water, forming an ice block that seemed to float there. It hadn't done that before, but she had only held it out, other than making a snowball with it by swinging it hard. Maybe a soft swing made these blocks. She hopped onto it, and it seemed to drift a little, as if there was a faint current. There probably was, but it was too slow. She was patient, but not that patient, so she made another, hopping over to it, and another, repeating the process until she got down to the small platform, where two bats immediately assaulted her. Not again! she instinctively shot them with ice, but they seemed to absorb its power. They were definitely different than the previous ones, as she was able to hurt them with her ice. Now what? No time to think, as one dove for her. She promised not to use her staff like a mace, but she was afraid it might freeze her, and she become a vctim of her own power, so she gave it a whack with the Ice Rod, sending it into the wall and it disappeared in a puff of purple smoke. They certainly seemed easier to dispose than the blue bats, that's for sure. The other one went in for the kill, giving a small screech, as she whacked it also, and it met the same fate. Sighing, she was finally able to open the chest, findin a rather odd item. Picking it up, it looked like a star, almost. It was blue in hue, and had several points on it. "Odd..." she tilted her head as she examined it. "Well, I have no idea what it is." she stuffed it in her pocket, "Maybe Luke will." She looked down the rest of the hallway, more water to cross. Creating another ice block, sh stepped on it, then eventually formed a "bridge", reaching the door and heaving it up.

[ DM Post : Beneath the Well : B2 ]
The next room Phyela enters is apparently empty; it consists of an oddly-shaped pool of water, and three small patches of land: one to the East, one to the West, and one to the South. Each of these have "doorways", but only one - the one through which she just entered - is an actual door. The other two are circles of the cream-colored, diggable rock, leaving her no way to progress forward; at least, not for now.

[ Izzy : Deku Mine : 1F ]
Izzy readied his slingshot once again, prepared to help Felin out. With a few hits from Deku Seeds, the Popos all poofed just like the Skulltulas, and the chest was clear. "I know, they seem almost completely placid, though probably not completely harmless," Izzy agreed as he walked toward the chest. "They're definitely the strangest monsters we've seen so far. Well, let's see what's in here."
He lifted the lid of the chest up, and pushed it back the rest of the way, then took a look inside... finding some sort of circle-shaped object. He reached in to grab it, and took it out of the chest to examine it more closely. "Um... Okay... Well, Felin... Looks like some kind of really old compass. And I do mean old," he said, wiping dust off of it with his green shirt. "Do you think it could help us get out of here?"

[ Luke : Beneath the Well : B2 ]
After killing the crabs with a long series of frantic clawing and punching, Luke stopped for a moment to sit down, breathing heavy. The one good thing to come from all this, he had to admit, was that his leg wasn't hurting quite as much as before. It would probably stab him with unbearable pain when he woke up in the morning, but... well, that would be then, and this was now. When he caught his breath, he jumped back up, careful not to put too much weight on his left leg. Then, letting out another deep breath, he marched on over to the lever on the right, grabbed it with both hands, and pulled with all his might.
Once it was pulled all the way, he heard another loud CLACK, and then the sound of something heavy being slowly moved. He turned around on his heel and ran out of the small area enclosed by the soft rock, to see the stone slab slowly sinking into the ground. "Yes!" he exclaimed, performing a celebratory fist-pump. He then saw that there was another tunnel of soft rock behind where the slab had been, so he stretched his arms for a few seconds and went to work yet again. After digging through, he found himself in the next room, where he saw Phyela coming in through the door on the opposite side of the room. "Hi there," he said with a smile, though not making any attempt to hide his exhaustion. "So, how'd it go?"

[ Felin : Deku Mine : 1F ] Felin obseved the old compass, and it seemed to point in all directions until it got some true directions, pointing back at the door. "Looks like it." she pulled the map out to get a sense of where to go, although it seemed rather simple. "You think that can help find treasure in here?" she asked, turning her head to the Kokiri boy. After a while, she put the map away and headed back to the main room. Lookin around, she turned to head up the ramp. --- [ Phyela : Beneath the Well : B2 ] As the witch entered seemingly one of the last rooms, she noticed a lot of the dirt that Luke could dig through with the mitts. "Well," Phyela walked to the edge, lookin down at her reflection in the pool, "Looks like Luke has to finish the job."She paused for a moment, wondering how to pass the time. An idea came right then and there, and she grabbed it with all speed. Taking her robe off and folding it, she set it beside her before taking off her shoes and setting them beside. After dipping her feet into the water, she dug out her pan flute and began playing a tune.

[ Luke : Beneath the Well : B2 ]
Luke smiled softly, enjoying Phy's music as he jumped into the water and swam across to the Southern patch of land. He pulled himself back out and examined his clothes for the first time in quite a while, wondering if he would ever be dry. His smile grew, as he almost burst out laughing at the idea, which, in this place, seemed ridiculous. But then it was time to get on with business. He scraped the claws of the Mole Mitts together, and they went to work for him, clawing at the soft rock fervently. The way was cleared in no time, but before he stepped through the rest of the tunnel, he turned and ran back, waving at Phyela. "Well, it's all clear now. We can go on through. Unless you want to stop here for a rest first."

[ Emily & Amy Indigo : Keuredet Village : Indigo Potion Shop ]
"Amy, could you put more butter in this for me?" Emily asked her twin sister. She was standing in the kitchen of their house, currently up to her elbows in what was slowly taking shape as dough. Her sister, Amy, was busying herself with writing something on a very, very long scroll. She looked up from her seat at the small wooden table, and sighed before getting up and walking toward the counter.
"Why don't you just use magic?" she asked as she grabbed a butter knife and scooped up a huge glob of butter. "It would go so much faster. Not to mention easier." She then began to cut in the butter, careful not to attack her sister's fingers.
"Because I like to do things like this the slow way. It's sort of... I don't know... calming. It's also a lot of fun. You should give it a try someti- hey! You put too much! Now I have to add more dough!"
"Well, that's what you get for doing more work than you have to," replied Amy, as she once again took her seat and resumed her writing.
"You're just lazy," Emily countered as she threw more dough into the mix and kept rolling.
"Whatever. Hey, has Phyela come back yet?"
"No, I haven't seen her all day."
"Strange..." Amy said, getting up and walking to the open back doorway to examine the view of their "backyard". "I could have sworn I had seen her earlier..."
"It was probably your imagination."
"Well, in any case, she'd best come back soon. The air is changing, and the cuccos are all saying that rain is coming. That's kind of funny... The sun was just brightly shining earlier. Lousy Southern weather."
"Well, Grandpa did tell Mother that she shouldn't move here."
"Oh, Grandpa is a carpenter! What does he know?"
"..But you were the one complaining..."
"I can complain all I want! It doesn't mean I plan on moving. Surely not back to Kakariko!"
"Oh, sister, you are so strange..."

[ Phyela : Beneath the Well : B2 ]
Phyela didn't even notice Luke come through until she heard a large splash, seeing about a gallon of water rise out of the pool before slapping the surface, slowly becoming still again. She continued to play her music even when Luke started digging through the wall where they needed to go. She quickly reached in her pocket to dig out the compass, which pointed toward the southern wall of dirt that Luke was currently digging through. Somehow it seemed to be leading her to both Luke and the path to continue, remembering when she first found it. When Luke asked if they should wait a bit or press on, she turned her gaze away from him, looking at the pool. They originally set out through here to rescue Luke's sister, but if they pressed themselves too much, as Phyela mistakenly had when they first came here and battled those awful bats, she didn't know what would happen to them. The image of the Indigo sisters came to her head then. They must be worried about her, and she hadn't once dropped in when she returned to the village. She wasn't sure what to tell them, and if she said anything about her experiences down here, they may not believe her. The witch, her mind set, slowly stood up. She had enough time to rest as she dwelled on thoughts,so she collected her things before creating a small block of ice in the water. "Yeah, let's go." she hopped across, her gaze looking away from Luke briefly. "It's time we saved your sister."

[ Izzy : Deku Mine : 1F >>> 2F ]
"Maybe..." Izzy began, though he trailed off and didn't finish his thought. When he noticed Felin leaving, he quickly followed, and ran up the ramp in the central chamber as well. After jumping across a small gap in the walkway, he noticed a Dragonfly flying much too close for comfort. He pulled out his slingshot yet again, and gave it two quick seeds to the side of its body. It fell to the floor even as it faded in a puff of smoke, and Izzy went about his business.
He jumped again, this time over the second small gap, but before he could land on the other side, another Dragonfly flew up from behind and gave him a swift stab with its tail. The shock of powerful electricity coursed through his small body, and he let out a broken, shaking shout as he fell to the lower floor several feet below. He remained lying facedown on the ground while the monster's voltage continued to torture his body, clenching his teeth from the sheer pain.
"Izzy!" Haelo shouted in distress, flying down to him as fast as she could. "Izzy, are you okay?" she asked, though he apparently couldn't speak at the moment. Once the electricity faded, he slowly turned over to lie on his back, staring up at the surviving Dragonfly, which, after shocking him, had simply continued to fly aimlessly around the chamber. Making a silent vow to pay it back, he slowly but surely struggled to his feet. Now he had to climb back up... but at least he had fallen near one of the ladders.

[ Felin : Deku Mine : 1F to 2F ]
Felin whipped around, hearing Izzy's scream through dozens of volts of electricity from the Dragonfly. "Izzy!" she rushed to reach out for his hand, but she was a split second too late, and she saw him hit the ground. "Izzy!" she repeated, leaning over the edge. All she saw from him was a spasmic movement, possibly from the after-effects of the Dragonfly's sting. "Is he okay?" Akin flew down to the boy, turning his head to Haelo for assurance. Meanwhile, Felin gave a sneer at the Dragonfly, getting to her feet. She rushed further up, seeing where the Dragonfly was, and, taking a leap of faith, reached out and grabbed onto the tail of the insect. It let out some volts, and her arm rapidly felt numb, but she was dragging it down, and intended to until she could kill it off. She gave it a stab with her sword, and the insect flailed, causing the girl to lose her grip. She landed a few feet from Izzy, planting both feet on the ground firmly. Akin flew back over to her. "Well, it's wounded." she then turned and walked over to Izzy, helping the boy to his feet as best she could, considering her own arm was still tingling. "You gonna be okay?"

[ Nado : Kokiri Forest : Hole of Z ]
"Well, this is just lovely," Nado said sarcastically with a long sigh. She had done just as Izzy said. She had crawled through the hole, ran through the maze, passed through the secret trap door that only Snapdragons knew about, climbed over the wall, and made her way through the garden, which, over the years, had become sort of a maze in itself. She had come out the other side of the garden safely, into the inner depths of the Snapdragon hideout, and sat down in her usual spot, to wait for Luke to arrive.
And she had been waiting for hours. The sun was starting to set, she had seen no sign of him or anyone else, and now - just her luck - it was starting to rain. Mumbling things about people needing to give advance notices if they're going to be late, she got up and ran to the entrance of the wide underground chamber they liked to call "Snapdragon Cave". She passed through the wide entrance and sat down on the dirt floor, figuring that if the giant did show up today, he'd have enough sense to come into the cave.
"If he's not here in the next hour, I'm gone," she said, basically thinking out loud, since there was nothing around to hear her but the plants outside.

[ Luke : Beneath the Well : B2 - Boss Room ]
As Luke entered the next room along with Phy, he drew his pole staff from its resting place, and his eyes shot around the room. There was nothing around, supposedly, but for some reason, he had the feeling that he was being watched by someone... No, make that a lot of someones... From every spot in the room. As he walked farther, he noticed that the room was large, but fairly simple. There was nothing here but a very wide area of soft rock - in fact, it took up most of the floor, in a sort of rounded square shape.
He suddenly jumped and spun around on his heel when he heard a door slam behind them - this room was officially freaking him out now. He thought that there was no door, seeing as how he had just dug through rock to get here. He wondered if, maybe... If they tried to open it, could they? Or were they locked in here...? As he was thinking of all this, he was yet oblivious to the strange sounds as something moved out of the shadows. He turned around and saw...
