I am temperamental And I have imperfections And I am emotional I am unpredictable, I am naked I am vulnerable, I am a woman Code Name: Siren Team: Alpha Location: Academy - Side Porch - Saftey in Numbers Ability: Sound Manipulation Singing: Nothing Give me something to sing about... █║▌│█│║▌║││█║▌│║║█║█║▌│█║▌│║║█║█║▌│█│║▌║││█║▌│║║█║█║▌│█║▌│║║█║ “They will pass.”, Isabella assured the country boy, knowing from his sigh that they still plagued him. Her head tilted as she her eyes turned towards the roof of the roof of the porch, simply listening to the Omega speak for a moment… The rocking of the swing put her at ease, the familiar motion making her slowly untense. She’d spent so long…Worrying about putting her team in danger—In further danger. The MRA ever looming in the background… She hadn’t taken a moment to herself—Just to exist, in a long while. “It’s always darkest before the dawn…”
“Or—In your case… It’s always worse before it’s better. And if they keep getting worse… You might need to schedule an appointment with Jean… Or I can just come put you to sleep every night.”, she responded with a faint smile, a glimmer of her usual dazzling self touching the surface of the saddened, disturbed creature she seemed to be as of late. He softened as she touched his shoulder, and she tilted her head to smile at him.
It really would be all right, for him. Time healed all wounds.
He mentioned that he thought her dreams were still attainable, and she looked away again...This time, a small spark of pain in her emerald eyes. She had given up on having a normal life, living like a human in blissful mediocrity. That chance had long since passed her by.
She was quiet as he spoke again, taking in everything that he had to say...Thoughts on his life—On what he would be doing, were he still living in the wild wild west. She didn’t mention that both the law enforcement and military these days were not exactly kind to mutants. Bella was one of the lucky ones that could hide her mutation, for the most part, but there were others that had the occasional accident. They became targets in society…Ousted for being different. Persecuted.
The songstress had no want for that kind of life… And she couldn’t see it for Christian either. He seemed too kind to deserve such treatment from those that feared and hated their kind.
He smiled when she mentioned that he had her respect, and she shook her head when he thanked her… “Nonsense. You might not know what you’ve done… But you have it all the same. You deserve it.”
The end of his statement caught her…Did he feel that Narcissa didn’t respect him? Of course, that could be inferred by most… But truly, if he felt that way, he should really try and talk to her about it. Instead of commenting directly, she brushed her long auburn hair behind her ear…The sunlight showing hints of red in it. “I bet I’m not the only one who thinks so.”
She couldn’t have been the only one to notice, that of all the people on the Omega’s…Narcissa had sent him to aide the Alpha’s at the mall. As much as the blond bombshell hated the black and blue…When it came down to it, she would never set them up for failure. She must have trusted him enough to get the job done.
“And you can call me by my name… You don’t have to call me ma’am.”
He questioned his place on the Omega’s, and she courteously paid attention to his musings… “Everyone is placed on a particular team for a reason…Scott and Emma must have seen something in your file, something in you, that they thought would be better suited to the Omega’s… “
“And you don’t necessarily have to play those cards…There’s always a hidden ace.”, Isabella returned, her musical tone lingering in the air. “If you feel strongly enough about it… You could request a transfer.”
Or her could tick off Narcissa enough that she transferred him as punishment.
There were times when Christian reminded her of someone she’d used to know. The differences were vast and wide, between the friend she’d had long ago… But every now and again she got a feeling of déjà vu. Maybe it was the slight southern twang in his tone...Who knew? She decided then that she should email the former Excelsior leader… He’d always known how to set her straight...No matter the mess she'd gotten herself into.
She heard Leonardo coming, but didn’t let on that she was counting the footsteps that brought him closer to the porch. Some things were a habit… She’d spend the past few weeks avoiding certain persons, that she’d fallen into the habit of trying to memorize the way her team sounded when they moved…Bio-rhythms, the heaviness, lightness, quickness in their step… It wouldn’t have been good of her to avoid the wrong individual.
Of course, it didn’t help that she could hear Leo humming a tune that she almost recognized—Getting nearer. Taking it upon herself, she introduced them just to avoid any awkwardness on either end—Nodding her head gently in affirmative at Leonardo’s first guess. “Leo, Christian—Christian Leo.”
She smiled faintly, when her blue boy commented that it was good to see Christian out of the infirmary. She worried that the Omega thought no one had noticed his status… Hearing Leonardo’s question, her head tilted slowly as her eyes closed…Listening for those he’d requested. It didn’t take her long to pick up on them again. “Aurelie… She’s in the lounge with some of the others.”
“Discussing Bianca getting a prom date… Reggie…”, Bella trailed off, her brow knitting together for a moment, before smoothing…“She’s in the courtyard.”
Though…She couldn’t find Katarina. She listened for her, expanding her search. Where had their newly acquired HYDRA agent gone? There was no way Emma or Scott would have let her leave…Not after the MRA had been announced. There was nothing…
“I can’t find Katarina—”, she paused, her eyes fluttering open as she looked out towards the lake… Nothing could be seen, not yet…It was still in the forest, hidden. But the sudden sound of metal and flesh moving together in perfect harmony made her tense, her body seeming to become compact…Almost like a deer caught in the headlights… She was suddenly on the edge of the porch swing, the rocking stilled by her feet planting themselves firmly on the ground. Gideon was coming their way at a rapid clip…Odd. There was something else with him.
For a moment, her heart sang…She thought it was Evelyn. Before the girl had disappeared from the face of the earth, she’d developed a wolf form in addition to her natural mutation. To have her best friend back would have righted…So many things in her broken world… But upon listening closer, she realized that whatever it was, running on four legs was more of a smooth gait…Different, graceful. A cat. The lightbulb went off in her head when she realized it was a large, very large cat. “Nevermind. She’s…Coming this way.”
With Gideon. It was…So incredibly wrong, that he was hanging around the ex-HYDRA shifter. So wrong…On so many levels.
She jumped slightly when Roland announced himself, having been so focused on the sounds of her… Boyfriend...Ex-Boyfriend coming closer that she’d failed to notice what was in her immediate surroundings. Her hands were cold, clammy…Immediately uncomfortable. She didn’t know what to say to the man that she’d recently transferred to the Omega’s… Didn’t know how to tell him what was on her mind. How…Hopeless, she felt. How very much she needed her freedom… How to tell him definitively that they couldn’t be what they were...
Because she wasn't the same person anymore.
“A-Afternoon.”
Shaking her head softly, she took a deep breath—Plastering her usual smile on her face. Gideon wouldn’t force her hand in front of all these people… Would he? Focusing on Roland, Leo, and Christian she tried to force herself to think that perhaps Katarina and Gideon would pass them by…Perhaps. Yeah right. “Are you boys all going to the dance?”

Name: Christian Spencer Codename: Sidetrack Team: Omega Location: Porch Current: Good company, good conversationsThere was something to be said about being relaxed in the midst of strange company. Not that Isabella was a stranger to him persay, but he had never really had a conversation with the lass. To his surprise, the conversation that was flowing back and forth between the two was relatively easy to engage and get lost in. But, in a way, they were kind of part of a ‘We Got Messed Up At The Mall’ club, an exclusive club that no one in their right mind would want to be a part of. As it sat though, Christian just folded his hands behind his head and stretched out a bit more, the motion of the swing they sat on rocking to and fro doing its job in providing him a bit of relaxing comfort. That and hearing her speak up now and again, sometimes in defense of his musings, sometimes in stark contrast to his musings. That was quite alright though, he knew not everyone agreed with his opinions. Which is why they were just opinions. He did smile a bit when he heard Bella chide him for consistently calling her ‘ma’am’. “ Sorry,” Christian said with a smirk set upon his face, “ I’ll do better from now on to just call you Isabella. Scouts honor.” The conversation from that point shifted to what it was he mused about before; about his placement on the team he was on. Not that it bothered him that he was on the Omegas, it just seemed like he didn’t quite fit in with that crowd. A good soldier he could be when it was deemed necessary and that was about it. “I don’t really wish to ask for a transfer,” Christian said to Isabella, “I’m a firm believer in stickin’ with who it was that brought you to the dance.” He meant that too. Just because his ideal systems didn’t fall in lockstep with the Omega’s leader didn’t mean he could not and would not work with her… or any of his teammates for that matter. If anything, he had a hunch that someone who went against those particular grains was a necessary person to have around. If anything, when he said what he did, he was just wondering out loud. But what Bella said, about asking for a transfer… the idea was intriguing to say the least, even if he would not ask for it in any way, shape, or form. There was another lull in the conversation, one that Christian was quite aware of, but he didn’t mind it. All in all, he was feeling quite at ease even just sitting there in silence. Of course, he could easily get comfortable anywhere and with his hands folded behind his head, his eyes closed almost as soon as the conversation was winding down. The small pocket of silence that hung between the two was altogether very brief as Christian heard someone walking up next to where he sat; the sounds of shoes hitting wooden boards was unmistakable. Opening his eyes, Christian looked over to see the man, Leo, talking to him and making mention of the Omega’s injuries and how well it was he was looking after all that. That aside, he knew Leo had taken a beating at the mall as well, despite handing one of those mutant buglady’s butts to her. Despite all of that though, he wasn’t ignorant to Isabella’s brief introduction of the two to the other. “Thanks,” Christian said to Leo before adding his own two cents in, “And likewise, it’s good to see you up and at ‘em. Definitely a Godsend that we’ve got someone like Elixir to patch all us up when it’s necessary.” And there was no time more necessary for Christian to get treatment. “Guess I just got extremely lucky though.” If that wasn’t the understatement of the century, then there was no telling what was. When Leo and Isabella began conversing again, Christian only closed his eyes once more and tried to relax. He was definitely enjoying the outdoors and being out of the infirmary and most assuredly enjoying the company he’d been keeping for the past few minutes. That’s why he was rather startled when he felt the swing stop it’s movements. Opening his eyes, he turned his head slightly and looked over at Bella momentarily, wondering why it was she stopped… He was almost asleep too. Judging by her general demeanor, he could only assume something was bothering her. He wouldn’t ask her what it was though, it was not in his nature to pry. Besides, he hardly knew the woman. He did notice her jump a bit where she sat and naturally, Christian turned his head to see the source of the disturbance. To his surprise, it was a fellow Omega, Roland, looking to join the miniscule soiree that was starting up on the porch. “Afternoon, Roland,” Christian said, “What’s shakin? I ain’t missin’ nothin’ important upstairs, am I?” His question an obvious reference to whatever fitting it was that Narcissa was undertaking. But, to be certain, his concerns weren’t truly there; they were fixed on whatever it was that was bothering the lass that sat on the opposite end of the porch swing. Those concerns though faded when she inquired if any of the gentlemen present were planning on attending this prom. Prom was something that Christian wasn’t really paying any mind to. He was too focused on getting back into ‘game shape’ as it were and trying to get his mental state to where he needed it to be. Prom, or so he surmised, would only be a distraction. Perhaps though, it would be a welcome distraction. “Hadn’t really given it much thought,” Christian drawled lazily, “’Bout attendin’ the dance. ‘Sides…” Christian let that last part kind of hang there before the words escaped his mouth and the thoughts faded away into nothing. He kind of had a feeling that there was no one that’d really be interested in even going with him to such an event. So, he had pretty much resigned himself to either going by himself or not going at all. Either way, it was no sweat off his brow no matter what happened.

Alpha: In the lounge still meeting new peoples. It was nice sitting with this group of people. They all so far seemed easy enough to get along with. Maybe she would be able to mesh easily enough on the Alpha team after all. It was a worry of Lillian's that she would disrupt what ever team dynamic they had. But she was adaptive so if nothing else power wise she would be able to find a place. Though having a chance to talk with some of her new teammates and get along with them gave her hope for the change. And thanks to her quick absorption of Cissa earlier left her knowing Cissa doesn't hate her for now being an alpha. Lillian looked back at Kerrigan as she was modeling hoping the redhead still planned on joining them. Even though she was having a good time with these people it would still be more comfortable having someone she knew there with her. There was talk about the infirmary. As well as getting some of the nurses habits. "Oh I could make a habit look hot." Lillian said not really thinking. Her status in the infirmary wasn't one of nurse as her role was usually following up or helping Elixir when she could or aiding Beast in operations. Lillian according to Beast is close to being able to have an unofficial medical degree. And with some of the academy backing she could find a way to get an official degree. Granted at the moment that isn't something she is worried about having the knowledge itself is more important beyond that piece of paper since more then likely she would never have a practice or work in a hospital that wasn't on an X base. That was when she realized her earlier comment. "Oh sorry any of you in there probably didn't recognize me. Picture a woman in a set of scrubs with a mask whose exposed skin was golden just like Elixir's. Though I wasn't a nurse usually backing up Elixir when in there. Nor am I nun like the nurses you speak of." She said the last bit with a laugh she knew of the ones they were talking about from the infirmary. Sure she generally wears layers and is only touchy feely with some people mainly Cissa. Then the conversation shifted back to Prom after Rob responded to Aurelie's question about prom. Talk of dresses and raiding Bella's closet. The songstress was known for having quite the assortment of amazing clothes. Lillian couldn't help but be amused watching Aurelie attempt to set Rob and Bianca up for the dance. It was just to cute. "Yeah I wonder what kind of dress Rogue will have picked out for me this time. For some reason the woman likes to get me dresses ones that leave skin exposed and make me go to the school functions. I think she gets some sick pleasure out of it." Lillian said in comment about the prom. She knew the reason why Rogue did it to help and continue to get Lillian more and more comfortable in crowds. It was nice to hear she was right when Farren said her powers were indeed plant based. That and She say no need to warn Farren about Cissa the girl would learn quick enough after going to a team meeting or practice. Though Cissa never minded having people on her team who could benefit in some way from her powers like Lillian did and Christian can. In this she found her assumption from the codename for Rob was also right having the guy as a pyrokenetic. Bianca was a umbrakenetic or shadow manipulator that could be a fun power. Lillian wondered if Bianca could travel through and between shadows like an umbrakenetic she remembered from long ago. Aurelie was a telekenetic. It was rather impressive the four people around her could potentially become quite the powerhouses if some of the older mutants with similar abilities were any indication. She looked to Aurelie after all the powers of the others were said to respond to her comment about her copying ability. "Oh it can be a bit overwhelming to say the least. I remember after one of the earliest missions I was on after absorbing a few people in one day one personality stuck pretty hard. I ended up hitting on Psylocke during a class. I had never seen that woman blush nor did I think the former assassin could blush." Lillian said thinking back. There were some interesting as well as some hectic times thanks to her powers. Though one of the craziest was still when she was able to recall elixir's powers to heal the Alpha known as Leonardo. That was a scary situation she wasn't even sure that was possible even if she always had her suspicions about it. Farren switched gears of the conversation away from powers and onto the time people had spent here, as well as asking about some people she had heard of but not in some time. It seemed she was the only one around back then when the ones that weren't Bella were around that Farren mentioned. "Me I have been in and out of here over the last several years." She didn't feel the need to mention the who reason for being in and out was usually thanks to her powers going haywire to an extent and feeling even less safe around others. "I remember Evie she was quite the interesting character. Had Wolvie and Gideon's abilities minus the claws. Former leader of the new mutants later renamed alpha's. She left I heard do to some complication with her mutation beyond that I don't know much. As far as Teagan she was around back when the new mutants were hear and I was on the paragons under Bella. as for her departure I know nothing about it. Bella as Aurelie suggested would probably be your best source of information short of the headmasters or Gideon he as I remember was good friends with Evie."Lillian thought it was strange this girl must of been here and left before she had come to the institute. Because for the life of her Lillian just could not place this plant user in her memory so that had to be the case. "Sorry I couldn't give you more to go on."

"There is a war coming, are you sure you're on the right side?"
Name: Brown, Farren Brown but you may call me Mother Nature
Location: Lounge Snarky Remark: "She's trying to touch two girls at once. Where are all the guys at?" "Getting grope by Narcissa under the guise of taking 'measurements'." "Oh, sucks for them." "Yes, it does, now shut up and keep the film rollin'." ╘════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╛ Farren shook her head, apparently the others misunderstood, she all ready knew where Evie was, and would remained for the rest of time. It wasn't her business to correct Lillian on the true reason the woman left. If the party line was because of Evie's powers, Farren wasn't about to contradict. Teagan was the one she was looking for, which no one seemed to know about it. It was quite disappointing to say the least."You're probably right Aurlie, was it? Isabella will know where Teagan' hanging out nowadays." The floramancer nodded in consideration, mentally charting the enrollment of the others in timeline, compared to when she was in another world, before once again the conversation steered itself back to Prom, much to Farren's slight irritation."Having lived with a mutation very similar to yours, Lillian, I imagine Rogue has realized you can't constantly worry about exposure. I mean, sure you can take protective measures, but at some point you should be able to trust yourself and those around you enough to enjoy some of the more risque outfits out there, if only to feel beautiful yourself."Spacing herself mentally from the others and their verbal exchange, Farren reached within her, to that dark part of her soul the professors and their medical/psychic teams failed to eradicate years ago, though not from lack of trying. They had to finally accept that the darkness inside of her wasn't created like they would have liked to believe, rather it was merely brought forth and enhanced by her dear "daddy" Apocalypse. It was bittersweet when the news had been formally told to her, though the floramancer had suspected of it the entire time she suffered through the physical & mental probes the PTB of the Institute had subjected her to. Now, she delved into that in attempts to reach out to her sisters, a bond forged from darkness. Teagan, Isabella, your Horseman sister is back. Oh how I've missed you both. The thoughts wouldn't reach the two mutants in words, but more as feelings, if they were in the city. She waited, urging a response with impatience she had developed in Limbo, as time trickled by at a snail's pace. As the seconds ticked by, it was then the floramancer noticed The Connection was off, she could feel wasn't the same. It wasn't whole, in fact it felt as if half of it was missing, gone. Based off the knowledge from the lounging Alphas, she knew the song-tress was at least on the mansion grounds, Farren focused wholly on her. Her mind knew Isabella was there, somewhere, but their metaphysical connection, left behind after Apocalypse's fall, was all wrong, it wasn't as it had been before Farren left for Limbo. Had Xavier finally managed to return the "innocence" of Isabella and Teagan after all these years; they had fought the whole "Let's turn evil and destroy the world" idea after all. Had the good professor's actions in essence weakened the ties that bonded the girls together, or was something else afoot entirely?"Isabella, our ties, they are different, wrong even." Farren whispered softly into the air, the action being nothing more than an exhale of breath. She could feel the song-tress close, and hoped the message meant only for the raven-haired beauty would reach her. She felt no need to announce herself, the moment her voice passed through Isabella's ears, she'd be recognized and the Alpha leader would enlighten her to whatever changes had occurred that affected them collectively."Can you sense me, through our Horsemen residue? I feel like it's a one-way glass and I'm on the wrong side, having to squint to see your shadow. I know you're here, but you aren't at the same time. Does that make sense? Where is our other sister, Teagan? I crave to see you two as I would crave sunlight, or as you would crave a melody. Farren was all ready deliberating on what to share with the young women first, once they settled down for their face-to-face encounter. Her return to the mansion was joyous in foundation, so she'd avoid the darker topics for now, which included both their brother-in-metaphysical-arms Jacen and his beloved Evie. Even when that bit of gossip removed, there was still so much for them to catch up on. It had been far too long, but then, in Limbo, when you're actively fighting to stay alive and maintain your citadel everyday, years tended to fly by at a rapid rate. "At least I've chosen a side." Academy X: Our professors are just a bunch of mules. Edited.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Team ↠ AlphaxxLocation ↠ Test Thread Eli waved Leion off, as he ventured forth the she-devil's room. This prom idea, sounded like fun, but at the same time, an event not meant for the magnetokinetic. Grabbing his bowl of gold fish, raisins and honey roasted peanuts, he walked out of the kitchen and made his way to the hallway and proceeded one way.
Passing through the threshold and into the lounge, he noticed a couple of people, Farren and Lillian (If there are any others I apologize, I wanted to make up for my absence and getting this post in). He waved at them with a small shy and awkward smile and sat down, not at the furthest seat from them, but one with considerable space between them, indicating his blatant social awkwardness he still possessed.
He looked around and admired the room. This house's architecture has yet to cease amazement. And with that conclusion he took a handful of his snack mix and consumed the perfect blend of natural sugars, the salt and the goldfish crackers. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ I won't tell you a damn thing, that I could not tell my friends. OOC ↠ Sorry about the absence, my browser decided to take a dump and not open up for any reason. Thus why the rushed post.

OMEGA: Out for a run. He really didn't have a description for things between the two former Hydra assassins. For Gideon part of him did know her reasons were that he was a former agent and found a home here, so she seemed to want to know how he adjusted. Which is what brought the two to subject of Bella. Even if on Gideon's part all he said was that she was really able to help him and might of been able to do so for her newest subordinate. The comment mumbled by Kat was heard by Gideon about knowing what it's like to have something to lose. Bella was very important to him that was no secret around here. Even given how actively she made to stay away from him his personal feeling hadn't changed. His time at the academy hadn't been without scrutiny. Granted Scott was the main one to make it his personal mission in the beginning to test Gideon. One incident when Gideon was in the danger room shortly after the mission to help rebuild in Genosha, which had taken a terrible turn from the humanitarian effort it was meant to be. But after that Logan had Gideon in the danger room so he could help give the wanting to change assassin an outlet. In this simulation was also a test to see if Gideon could fight his training and infultrate a werehouse without resorting to killing anyone. Scott Summers had taken the liberty to add in something extra, he programed in images of many students bodies bloodied and broken in the center of the warehouse simulation. But it wasn't just the bodies that set something off in Gideon no it was Summers specifically chose two of the people Gideon in his short time had been shown to care for. That caused him to lose himself as the savage portion of himself ripped itself to the forefront. It was that action alone when he learned it was Summers doing that he had no care for the headmaster of the academy. The only reason there is even anything between the two men was thanks to Bella asking if for her he would try which he had done. Though Scott at times had shown some measure of apologizing in his own ways. So as far was to his free acceptance at the school was pretty much souly thanks to those he befriended. But none more so then Bella. It was probably because they could all see when he was with her Gideon wasn't just the former assassin. No he was actually showing and becoming more human, not just what the was trained to be. As for the current interaction between himself and Kat. The shifter seemed to brighten up for not having a better term for it. He did know of the need those with more animal oriented mutations to get out there and let that part of themselves loose. For Gideon that time at times Bella would join him. Her reasoning was she wanted to be apart of all of him which included the beast/monster he often fought to control. Other then that he was used to being out in the woods alone as the beast was unleashed. It was freeing to let ones self run purely on instinct running wild as it were. Kat's comment on running circles around him made him almost laugh. Not that in her animal form she couldn't do so. That wasn't it at all in the woods even faster creatures can be overtaken by knowledge of the land. "Whatever it takes to make you feel good about yourself." He said bluntly. Gideon really didn't care one way or the other. This wasn't a compitition she was asking for a run not a lets see who is better trip. Upon reaching the outdoors Kat began her shift. She probably had her mind prepping the change even before she was out the doorway. Her shifting was much more violent then some of the other shifters he had encountered over the years. Though she was also one of the few that he has come across that could shift with such skill to both man and animal. Mystique over all was still perhaps the cleanest and skilled shifters encountered. But the blue tinted mutant did have years and years of experience under her belt. Unsurprisingly to Gideon, Kat as she has a habit to do a member of the feline family was chosen. Seems her name was indeed fitting Kat becoming a cat. He was kind of surprised she hadn't gone with the cheeta for it's speed, instead she went with the panther which was as far as the large cats go quite balanced in strength and speed. The sight or sounds of Kat's changes would probably unsettle some. Beyond the visual aspect of watching her body contort as the muscles and bones under her skin altered to become that needed for her chosen form. To those with Gideon's hearing or were close enough could hear bones growing some breaking and fixing themselves into new form to accomidate the change. He was slightly curious if the changes hurt though if they did probably now it went unnoticed by her. After the change was complete she brushed against him before taking off. Figured she would want a game of it and not a simple run. He wondered how upset she would be if he ran not joining in the game itself. Gideon wasn't in a playful mood as it appeared Kat was in her panther form. He had just wanted to go for a run through the woods. It seemed Roland wanted taunt the newly formed panther form of Kat. That or maybe it was him he wasn't sure not that it matteres as the boy seemed to lose interest quickly. As they ran towards the lake and the forest line, Gideon not really going along with the game of tag despite Kat's continued attempts toward it, Gideon's nose picked up the scent of the person he wanted to see. As it appeared Bella was enjoying the company of a few others. She happened to be on the porch that they were about to pass by even if not right by. Gideon looked up and saw the look on her face and body language. Others may not be able to pick it up from her even from his distance it was clear she wasn't happy to see him. That and she clearly still didn't want him near her. As much as he still wanted to go over there to talk the situation was clear it was best he didn't. "Message recieved. Guess asking you to the dance is pointless........ We should talk eventually." Gideon spoke softly knowing only Bella would hear his words. The two had learned to be able to speak so only the other would hear over the years. He made sure any hurt from it was hidden Bella herself might be able to pick up something, but no one else would ever be able to. With that his pace that slowed when he caught sight of her picked back up. He had come out for a run now he was really going to get one. Direction turning and going directly away from the porch. It left him so confused how someone who claimed to care so much could so easily want nothing to do with you. Things got bad back before the mall when he prevented the pointless fight with Cissa. Unless Bella did some major mojo or killed the blonde it wasn't going to change anything. On top of it none of the administration gave a damn so long as she didn't physically harm anyone. So why would she change when she can continue her b***h image she works so hard to maintain. And beyond that it also gave Cissa a way to torment Bella as it would be more effective then messing with her directly.

Scorch Robert Mason Jr.
Alpha - Team Lounge - Location Stepping into the snare - Currently If Rob had been paying attention, he might have noticed Bianca's face turning red when Aurelie first started trying to set him up, but as it was, it was only after she was singled out by Aurelie that he realised. Were he the type to think things through, he might have paused for a bit to register the situation. Instead, Rob turned to Bianca with a slight shrug of one shoulder. "Why not? What harm could it cause?" He both answered Aurelie and asked Bianca. "Besides, as she said," motioned towards Aurelie, "could be fun." It was fair to say that Rob hadn't noticed he was already trying to convince her to go along with the plan.
Then, as if it were the natural progression of the conversation, and being that he was the only male in the group, it probably was, the talk of the formal gave way to dresses, and it took Rob all the effort he could muster to not let it tone out into white noise, not that the vindictive assumption of Rogue made that a difficult task. Farren's argument behind Rogue's methods killed the chuckle that was growing in Rob, but left his lips curled up in a smirk.
After the everyone in the group had shared what their particular mutation was, Farren asked a question he had never actually thought he'd have to answer, or at least, not so soon. "I'm still a new recruit to the teams," he answered honestly, and having been called away from the operation at the mall, he was still very much a greenhorn. As for the following question, Lillian seemed to be able to give an enlightened answer, and Rob was more than happy to leave it at that.
Then, Farren fell quiet, noticeably so, as if she had shifted her focus to an internal conversation with herself. But Rob didn't give it much thought, instead turning his attention to the newcomer, who seemed to keep his distance while offering an awkward wave. It was almost painful. "You're welcome to join us," he offered with warmth. "You don't have to keep your distance, we don't bite." He glanced to each of the faces around him, before offering Elliot a hopeful shrug. "At least, I don't think we do," Rob added quickly, his toothy grin revealing the true nature of the jest.

Alphas: Is going stag cool? location: cafeteria
Hoshi turned her head to the new girl on her team who she reconized as one of the girls who'd taken care of the bomb in the mall. *Alex, I believe* she thought to herself. Alex soothed her fears of the dance being mandatory, Daylia confirming it as well. Hoshi sheepishly thanked both girls and put her chair back in it's proper position. Proping an elbow on the table and resting her cheek on her fist, She poked at her food as she thought.
*Not going means I can talk to Sorsha and Morgan, or I can mess around online. However, I'm not trying to win the antisocial award this year, so maybe I should go. Besides, Sorsha probably will have a play rehersal or something. I'm gonna go. I'll just wear a nice pair of jeans and a new shirt. No point in getting dressed up without someone to dress up for.* Hoshi concluded to herself. Decision made, she rapidly finished her food and dumped her tray, then headed up to the roof to pratice her flying.

Omega, Location: Porch An afternoon conversation Enjoying the wood beneath him as he sat down, he really could enjoy the sunny weather for all it was worth. Last time he could just sit there and enjoy the day had been during the last blue moon. Between therapy sessions with Dr. Grey, studying under Dr. McCoy, and training with Logan, he hadn’t much time to take and smell the roses as one might put it. Granted, he never really ever did that even before this. Perhaps he could find if there some growing in the area, maybe start to cultivate his own. It would be something for him to focus on, another thing for which to distract him from the insanity that brewed in his mind. He’d never really managed plants before, hell he didn’t even have a pet as a kid. Dom wasn’t exactly the nurturing type. He could imagine if they had ever gotten their hands on a fish, it would be dead by the time they got back to the house. Bella was surprisingly startled by his entrance. For someone that had the ability to hear someone sneeze halfway across the complex, he’d expect her to not get the drop on her. Unless she’d been focusing on something, perhaps a certain newly recruited Omega. Looking at her, he realized that she was somewhat on edge. If he could guess, it was something regarding Gideon. There was a reason why he was shifted over to the Omega squad, and Lillian was moved over there. Perhaps one could argue that there were other reasons, such as a lack of pure melee combatants on the Omega Team. Between Jacen, Kerrigan, and himself the rest tended to be distance fighters. They needed someone who could compensate for the lack of force on the front lines. And if anyone were to fill that void, he’d definitely fit the bill. She had managed to get out a simple afternoon, with a bit of a stumbling of words. Seeing her normal pleasant face was good enough for Roland, but would at one point make a note to see if she was alright. Cissa may not like her, for whatever the hell reason she has, but Roland was one to realize that they’re all apart of this thing. We are all in a way, family. Least that’s what Roland liked to think. After all, this was the closest thing he had to a family to begin with. Christian asked about the fittings in boss’s room, “Nah, you’re not missing much. I got fitted for the dance. Jacen and Leion are in there now, and Daylia just walked past me. Let’s hope that I look good for the night.” he answered. “How are you holding up anyway Christian? I never got to check up on you after you gained consciousness. Dr. McCoy had me tending to my own wounds.” he asked his teammate, he’d remembered checking on him when he was out. He’d taken quite a beating from Sabretooth, partially the reason he’d been training in a simulation against him earlier today. Bella then asked if anyone else was going to the dance, “Well, I’m going with Kerrigan. Means I’m gonna have to step it up for both her and Narcissa.” he said with a bit of elation, looking to her with a grin on his face, “Will you be making an appearance? I feel like we all could use a night to get away from the insanity.” his golden eyes flickered a dance of fire as he sat there in the company of the others. Looking to Leo, he asked him simply, “How have you been? I remember you got banged up a bit yourself.”

The Omegas: Cissa's room |725|"Are you lost in your lies? Do you tell yourself, 'I don't realize.' Your crusade's a disguise. Replaced freedom with fear, You trade money for lives. I'm aware of what you've done." ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ Felix grinned in Narcissa's direction as she mentioned chestnuts roasting over an open fire. Taking Jacen's invite to join the club without a second thought his shirt was off and draped over his shoulder as he opted to leave his pants on for now if only because he didn't want the possibility of his chestnuts roasting over her open fire. "So now that I have joined this club are there any special benefits? Or is this more of an anyone can join type of thing at which I would have to decline membership." She rolled her eyes as he mentioned his uniform needing to be shirtless and he wondered briefly if she could tell he was joking or not. Granted he did make it pretty hard to tell at times. Hearing her question why Aren cared if his contained a shirt or not going further by insinuating they were into each other Felix rubbed his chin for a moment. "Care? I don't think he particularly cares. It came up in a conversation and he mentioned telling you he wanted the same privilege extended to him. He also mentioned something about leather and drool."
Feeling that was finished he decided to move onto the insinuation about Aren and him. "And for your information the only closet I have ever been in was when I was hiding from a girl's father who seemed to think his daughter had a shred of innocence to her. I can't speak for Aren naturally as I am not him." Waving the accusation off Felix raised an eyebrow as Cissa seemed to be intentionally ignoring him for the moment as she finished up Roland. Waiting patiently he figured she was just letting him sweat it about whether she was willing or not. After telling Jacen he was next and reapplying the lipstick she was wearing she decided it was time to turn her attention to Felix.
Watching with mild interest as she stood up on her tip toes next to him and allowing himself to be tugged down the speedster once again raised and eyebrow as a kiss was planted on his cheek. She called him enthused implying that she didn't like it and went on to say he wasn't man enough for her. "Ouch way to hurt my pride." Jacen certainly seemed to be enjoying himself as Felix gave him a glance to see the sandy blond sitting cross legged with a huge grin present on his face. Putting on a feigned look of hurt he decided to do something that was very much going to get him a slap if not worse and possibly lose him the pleasure of the blond's company on prom. Still he did have to defend his manhood if nothing else. Though he was pretty much just going to do it to see how much of a rise he could get out of the blond and see if she was as ice cold as her personality insinuated. Using a quick burst of speed he closed the distance between him and Cissa and then just as fast planted a real kiss on her lips. Nothing super passionate as he wasn't sure if she really tickled his fancy in that manner, but certainly enough to know he was there.
Drawing back with a curious look and very much expecting some form of pain to come his direction he smirked. "Man enough for you now?" The blond intrigued him as she obviously didn't like flattery and there certainly weren't many women like that around. He would definitely have to change up his game if he expected to get anywhere with her whether romantically or simply in a friendly way. Letting her get her response to the kiss out of the way he decided to perhaps push his luck further and ask her to prom again in a manner in which she specified. "Very well I would like and appreciate it if you would go to prom with me. I feel we could have fun. And you would also stop me from possibly making a fool of myself in front of another potential date so that would be appreciated." Falling silent afterward Felix took a look around the room and gazed at the other two guys again and noticing a new red head arriving before returning his gaze to Cissa.
OOC: It's not much...
▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ "I see pain, I see need, I see liars and thieves, Abused power with greed. I had hope, I believed, But I'm beginning to think that I've been deceived. You will pay for what you've done."

╰☆╮ Name: Katarina Force ╰☆╮ Alias: Kali ╰☆╮ Team: Alpha, Apparently.╰☆╮ Ability: Shape Shifter ╰☆╮ Location: Academy: Outside ╰☆╮
"Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure. The fearful are caught as often as the bold." ✬════━━┈┈┈☆┈┈┈━━════✬ Large paws found sure footing in the wooded area—Darting this way and that. Lingering in her slow, seemingly clumsy human body too long made her long for the form of something better. Something stronger, faster, something far more graceful than the shape she’d been born with. Not that she was mocking her own face…But there were times when she was slower to recognize it than she should have been. She could only stay in another form so long…But it was long enough to make her initially think that she was looking at a stranger when she shifted back.
Gideon agreed to run with her… And the tension between her shoulders slowly eased. She’d been too apprehensive to run too deeply into the woods. As good as the telepaths were, she didn’t exactly trust them not to keep her from getting captured and or killed. As long as she’d been on the run… She’d only ever been able to trust herself. Well, herself, and a few contacts she had one the outside…But that was only because she terrified them. Though that wouldn’t mean anything if the Contessa stormed their gates…
No one in their right mind denied Madam Hydra.
Except a few of her wayward projects and Nicholas Fury, or so it seemed.
She wasn’t sure how her joke had fallen with X-20…He’d seemed his usual blunt, no-nonsense self… But he hadn’t cast her the ice cold look of…Disdain, that he usually seemed to have… So she couldn’t be sure… But had he been tempted to laugh? Could that of been what she’d heard? Her skills on reading others were nothing to laugh at…But she’d spent the past few months staying as far away from people as humanly possible.
Suffice to say, she might have been a little rusty.
She went with the form of her beloved black panther for a few reasons…Most of which, she because she understood that speed wasn’t everything. A panther was the perfect combination of speed and strength… Easily capable of ripping apart a human. H.Y.D.R.A. Agents that were sent after her would know well to be wary when they heard her roar… Many of their ranks had been thinned via her claws and teeth. Although eating human was never fun… Animals could often eat things that her human form couldn’t digest, or rather her conscience, what was left of it, wouldn’t allow her to digest. Human flesh, for example, she promptly threw up when she shifted back.
Rocks also didn’t go down well. She’d eaten a few as a crocodile, who often ate them naturally to help digest their food. Human stomachs, did not tolerate chunks of stone well.
Kat also wasn’t having Gideon’s stubbornness. There was only room for one of them to be so pig headed. He’d been removed long enough now from his former lifestyle…One would have thought that he might have dislodged the stick from his a** just slightly. But that didn’t seem to be so. The panther mind, hidden underneath her own, took it as a challenge—And she frequently turned to n** at him, swinging a paw in his direction. Just like an adolescent cat would have done to incite a playful, if painful game.
She heard a boy say something before they left… And it took her a moment to discern what it was. Sure, she could hear while in animal form… But the creature didn’t exactly interpret sound the same way a human did. Luckily she was a bridge between the two, so it took a moment of concentration. Her eyes flashed and she growled low…But nothing further came of it. She had a run to get to.
Her ears perked as Gideon stated something quietly… Not so softly that her panther ears couldn’t catch it, but soft enough that the humans on the porch would miss it. Well, most of the humans. Her eyes followed that of X-20… And her running fell into step beside him, breaking down to a gentle trot. There was a girl with dark hair that seemed…Terrified. Smelled afraid… It took her a moment to realize that this was the ‘Alpha Leader’ Scott Summers kept insisting that she meet. They’d met… twice, briefly, in passing… Once while she’d been bleeding all over the mall… And another time later on. The shifter had avoided her ever since.
The scent of her blood lingered in her nose, even human. It was the same with the boy she sat beside…Blood, blood, blood. It smelled good. It made the big cat hungry.
It also took her a moment to realize that the girl on the porch swing wasn’t tensing because she was coming closer…She was tensing, fearful, because Gideon was coming closer. And unless he was planning on asking one of the males to the dance—Which she doubted…There was trouble in paradise.
How interesting.
What would the brunette have to be afraid of? If she’d tamed the beast that was X-20…So successfully ensnared him…What was there left to fear? His body language when they’d spoken of Isabella in the weight room had screamed mate… Why did her own simply scream?
They lingered in front of the porch for a moment, before Gideon suddenly changed direction and took off…Going in the opposite direction. She growled and huffed a little in irritation…But was caught between following him, and giving him some space. Not to mention, that there was someone on the porch that intrigued her far more than the insipid drama between the team leader and assassin.
It had been a long time since she’d come across a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent that she hadn’t needed to fight. And an even longer time, since she’d last come across this one. She remembered limping away from that bloody fight…Half dead upon arriving back on base. Padding forward, she came very close to Roland… Almost too close, as she moved up the stairs—Surprisingly graceful on four legs. Her tail brushed against his shoulder before she sat down, letting it curl around her paws.
It seemed that she was undecided for a moment…Whether or not to give up her stronger, faster form in the presence of the former S.H.I.E.L.D. agent. Though perhaps he was reformed…Just like X-20. An innocent little boy.
Right.
Fur rippled and slowly faded away, her ears sliding down the side of her head as whiskers slipped back inside her face. It wasn't pretty. Not sleek or clean like Mystique...There were sounds of bone grinding together, of muscle shifting and fingers lengthening…Her spine cracking as it shortened. It was more than uncomfortable for her…But she’d gotten used to it. There wasn’t…Pain, when she shifted. Not anymore. A few moments later left a lovely dark haired girl sitting with her legs tucked beside her on the porch. Her eyes remained the pale yellow-gold of the panther, the pupil still elongated. Her head tilted towards Roland, eyes flickering over his form…Not, unappreciative. She was a spy. Not dead. “You may call me Kat—Katarina…Not kitty.”
Her eyes turned back towards the S.H.I.E.L.D. agent—Silent for a moment as she assessed his current situation. Did all of these people know he was a lapdog for a secret law-enforcement agency?
“…è bello vederti, Mr. Rossi.” **[It’s good to see you, Mr. Rossi.]
That was a loaded greeting, if there ever was one.
Her countenance was less than innocent…Gaze unintentionally sharp from the cats’ eyes she still involuntarily wore. They would eventually fade to their normal gunmetal blue… But they were just as sharp as the feline. Her eyes turned from Leonardo to Isabella…A protective streak for the only semblance of a pack leader in this damnable place she had passing through her. This…Weak, terrified woman had no place leading anything…Let alone being the catalyst for taking the most dangerous creature she’d ever known, and turning him into…Into a guileless sheep. “Veritas was just telling me all about you, Isabella.”, the woman’s name seemed to come in an accented drawl, stressors on certain syllables that wouldn’t be if she was American born.
She paused, slipping to her feet… Her torso clad in a form fitting sweater dress that was light grey in color. Beneath it, she wore black embroidered leggings that were tucked seamlessly into a pair of knee high, soft leather boots. They had a low heel, but were still close enough to her body that she could shift with them. All of her clothing was chosen strategically…The closer to her body it was, the easier it was for her to shift with it. Loose clothing shredded easily. Her head tilted as she slipped into the teasing persona that she used on a hunt…The chic, city girl that knew her way around a shopping mall, just as well as she knew her way around a man—Or a gun. Take your pick. Her eyes analyzed the Alpha leader and her lips formed a tight, sassy smile.
“Handsome as he is… Apparently he isn’t that bright. I can see that now.”, her words carried a certain sting to it that the men around the sound user might not catch. But she was a woman…And one woman often knew when another was insulting them… Even if it was veiled between thin lines.
Katarina let her eyes tear from Isabella, only to fix her stare back at Leonardo… Her eyes suddenly shifting, blue leaking through the yellow-gold…completely replacing it in a few moments. Her right hand fell to her hip…The last time they’d spoken, between deafening blows, it had been in Italian. She knew that he recognized her…He had been one of the few to ever see her true face, and live. “What, amante, no hug? No kiss? You didn’t write…Didn’t call…And here I thought we’d had such a good time.”
Her expression slid into something different…Robotic. “My mistake.” ✬════━━┈┈┈☆┈┈┈━━════✬ (Oodles Of Chickens: sorry for taking so long. i've been dealing with a bunch of irl stuffs lately.)

Name: Jacen Reilly [Kraken] Team: Omega Location: Cissa’s Dorm At Narcissa’s rather poignant order, Jacen kicked the jacket up into his hand. He hung it up and was back to his seat in seconds, a sheepish grin adorning his features. “A thousand apologies Narcissa.” Jacen stated, unsurprisingly without a hint of sarcasm in his tone. Roland’s response tempted Jacen’s innate curiosity, but he simply nodded. He knew Roland had his share of… Issues. That much was obvious from the missions they'd been on together. But, most of the young adults at the academy could probably be diagnosed with some psychological disorder. The picture fell and was picked up, noticed by Jacen of course, but before he could ask about it Narcissa finished up with Paladin and sent him away. He stood up with uncertainty as Narcissa called him over, almost as if to ignore the questions that had just been asked of her. Was she really going to just shy awa- wait, no. There it is. Their leader seemed particularly brutal in that shut-down, though at least she gave the new recruit a second chance to ask. An interesting thing to offer, but it was lucky for the recruit if he made his next move the correct one. Luckier than making Narcissa’s s**t-list because of something like Prom that is. “I don’t have a color preference.” He said plainly, attempting to fight fire with fire. Except instead of ‘fire’ the optimum word would be ‘awkwardness.’ And then, the awkward just took on a whole new monstrous form. To say Jacen was shocked would be an understatement. His immediate reaction was to dive tackle the speedster and Leion both out of the room to avoid the immanent onslaught of fire. Maybe through a window if he had to. kae this guy had BALLS on him. The trio at the door had come at a very interesting time, to be sure. A horrible flashback to the party before they had all been transported to that Halloween-Imagination world crossed his mind... There were actions Narcissa could take that were worse than burns... He looked expectantly to his leader. “Uh, Cissa, he is new after all…” That coupled with Felix's status as an Omega gave him more chance than if he was an Alpha, so really this could go either way. Though hopefully not the ‘Explode with the power packed taste of the sun’ way.

Name: Narcissa Grace Lucania-Stone [No relation, to Any Alpha's] Codename: Solaris Team: Omega Location: Dorm Temperament: Hateful What kind of guy didn’t give a girl his number anymore? What were they in, the middle ages? Did someone expect them to start burning bra’s again soon? Her eyes rolled heavenward…She’d have to talk to Kerri later about the finer details.
Azure eyes stilled as they landed on the floor…The flutter of something white moving through the air had caught her attention. Just the way the wrings of a dove might have entered her peripheral vision… Though what she’d seen on the floor for a brief moment stole her presence of mind completely. Had she seen what she’d thought? She blinked once as Roland scurried out of her shared dorm, as if Cerberus nipped at his heels… She was silent for a moment as she turned it over in her head. Hearing the door creek open, just before a light knock sounded on the door, she stirred her from deeper musings and consequently sighed…
“Its now or never, get your bloody asses in here.”, she snapped unintentionally harsh. Her rather even mood had soured exponentially quickly. There were too many secrets in the Academy…Some, granted, were her fault… But others bothered her. What she had just seen itched and scratched at her…Clawing beneath her skin in a way that felt impossible to let go. She felt Daylia on the other side of the door, plus others that she wasn’t familiar with.
Somewhere behind Chameleon she heard a comment—Though it was only bits and pieces. From her knowledge of what the rest of the Academy thought of her, she couldn’t help but smirk faintly. At least some of the school still knew of and or feared her legendary wrath.
Felix went on to mention something about leather, and the sun goddess pointedly ignored it—Shaking her head. “Your uniforms are meant to protect you. Not to showcase your lack of physique. If you want to show some skin, there's more than a few strip clubs in New York. They'll hire anything.”
If he’d thought she’d aimed to hurt his pride before… He’s know it for positive, very shortly. Inner Cissa was more than willing to stop on it like it was on fire.
Pulling out the measuring tape, she started on Jacen—Taking mental note that he had no preference on color. She recalled him wearing something that may or may not have been liberated from an old fashioned consignment store to their prom. What a monstrosity. One could only hope that the actions of the present could undo her unsightly memories of the past. Just as she opened her mouth to ask the Octo-Man’s shoe size, she felt a disturbance of air. Her body turned, only to find lips suddenly pressing against her own.
She stiffened, growing still as stone…Eyes remaining open as they kissed. Felix pulled away, and before he could finish his witty comment, her hand was in the air—And she slapped him hard enough across the face that the crack echoed within the confines of the over-populated dorm room. Narcissa had strict rules against hurting her Omega’s… They were hers to protect. But the moment they thought it prudent to lay their hands on her where it wasn’t welcomed…Things changed. “Get the hell out.”
Her voice was colder than a barren wasteland, eyes a particular shade of ice that were clear enough to see through. But it wasn’t her fierce expression that should have caused Felix, or Jacen, who was likely too close to her for comfort, some kind of fear for their natural born lives. It was the ball of light that slowly grew in the palm of her hand. It fluctuated and twisted, brightening as it seemed to shudder. Unstable. Jacen’s comment about Felix being new only made a slow smirk crawl across her features.
“What an excellent point Kraken…”, the British bombshell drawled, eyes narrowing as they set themselves on Felix…Forgetting for a moment that if she fried him now, she’d likely fry everyone behind him. Which included Daylia, and two new Omega’s that she’d yet to personally meet. Though she knew their names, ability’s, and history’s by their profiles…Contrary to popular belief, that she happily let perpetuate by word of mouth, she did know the names of those on both teams. That, and so much more.
But she allowed the rest of the world to think that she knew them as ‘Thing 1’ and ‘Thing 22’. No one needed to know that she actually gave a damn. “Did you hear him Felix? He confirmed that you’re new… So that means, that if I take a chunk out of you—No one will be around to miss you.”
Glancing at the white carpet, she sneered…”I think it would even be worth having the room re-done.”
“So do yourself a favor…And get out.”, Narcissa reiterated…Annoyed, because while she thought she may have split Felix’s lip from hitting him…He was really just wearing the candy apple red of her lipstick.
Watching Felix back out of the room at her murderous expression, she let her hand close, extinguishing the deadly light she held… Sighing again. What was wrong with people? Roland was carrying around a picture of her in his back pocket…Dom was off the team for poor grades in GYM, Aren was off, doing god knows what with Alpha’s, Felix was treating her like a kissing booth…Bloody hell. Without commenting further, she went back to methodically measuring Jacen…Picking up her pen and notebook off the floor to take notes in her spidery script. “What shoe size?”
“You three, have a seat—And decide amongst yourselves who’s next.”, she ordered the girls, as if nothing had ever happened. She would finish up with Jacen and Leion before starting on them…Even though she knew Leion wasn’t too terribly interested, some girls were squeamish getting even partially nude in front of other girls… Let alone guys.
As she finished Jacen, she silently bit the inside of her cheek… She was sure that she was going to regret this. Wrapping the measuring tape about her neck, she picked up her phone off the desk and sent a short, quick text to the moronic boy that she’d just sent packing out of her dorm. ‘You’re bloody pathetic. But you can pick me up at eight. Don’t be late.’
Closing her phone, she got to work on measuring Leion—Her quick, concise movements quite akin to a physician. Almost as if she were measuring mannequins, not live people. Her gaze fell on Daylia, Quinn, and Aria…Her smile suddenly having a little too much teeth. “Don’t worry. Unless you try to stick your tongue down my throat—I won’t bite.”
Much. "Some say the world will end in fire, Some say in ice. From what I've tasted of desire I hold with those who favor fire."

Name: Leonardo Rossi Team: Alphas Location: Porch Just The Person I Needed To See... “Most definitely,” Leo responded to Christian’s comment about having Elixir on campus. Although, seeing the golden boy more often than not was sometimes a bad thing, depending on whom you are. It meant that you were either a good friend of his, or got beat up on a regular basis. For the X-Men Junior Teams, it was usually the latter. Hearing Christian’s quip about being extremely lucky, Leonardo nodded. “We were all lucky, to tell the truth, but I haven’t seen that many people bounce back after something you’ve been through.”
As Bella listed off the locations of the people he was looking for, he was once again grateful for her ability to hear people from miles away. It was a disadvantage in some cases, but here, it was a real time-saver. Aurelie was in the lounge, it seemed, and Reggie was in the courtyard. Katarina was missing… which made Leo’s face harden. Did she run off, take information from the Academy with her back to HYDRA? Was her ‘turning a new leaf’ story just a ruse? This could be bad… that means HYDRA could know where he was. Oh yeah, he needed to talk with her… and she needed to meet with his fists again…
Or wait… no. She was coming this way. Oh, what a relief. Leo’s held breath was slowly let out… but then his breathing hitched again when he finally absorbed what Bella had just said. She was coming this way… as in, would be arriving at their location in a matter of seconds.
Roland walked up just then, carrying the scent of cigarette smoke with him. This too caught Leo off guard; his nose crinkled in disgust… he hated that smell. He was all too thankful that his sense of smell wasn’t hyper-sensitive like Logan’s or Gideon’s… or like a moth’s. Leonardo never knew why he disliked the smell of tobacco so much; maybe it was because of most of the time, the people he came across that smoked cigarettes wanted to kill him. Plus, it was a nasty, expensive habit that sucked money out of people that complained about finances. He only nodded to Roland, a courteous nod that said, ‘Hello’ without using words.
The large feline form made its way up the steps, and Leo instantly knew that it was the ex-HYDRA agent. There was no doubt about it… and the doubt was completely eliminated when she reverted back to her original form. That was when Leo tensed up; it was nearly invisible… but Bella and maybe even Gideon would have heard his heart rate rise. It wasn’t easy, standing across from someone who nearly beat you to within an inch of your life… at least he had returned the favor during their epic battle. And she was just sitting there, completely and totally fine with herself.
He didn’t respond when Katarina addressed him in Italian. He only stared her down until she started to speak to Bella. His eyes began to shift between the two attractive women, but not in an attentive way that one would when expecting a fight. Leo knew that Bella had taken worse verbal abuse from the Sun Queen Narcissa, so no high-pitched, glass-shattering screams would be heard soon.
The shape-shifter’s attention turned back to the animal mimic, making light conversation while slyly mentioning their deadly battle. His eyes glanced briefly to the other people on the porch; she was talking as if they had had a one night stand. Perhaps it was best to just play the game as it was; Leo was willing to make amends, but only if he knew for sure that Katarina had totally reformed. But, then again, to say that Leonardo had been completely reformed would be a flat out lie.
“Forgive me,” Leonardo started, “but I had some trouble reaching you before I left my employer.” His left eyebrow raised slightly, his poker face displayed perfectly. “I tried though,” he stated, “believe me, I tried.” Finding a HYDRA agent after he or she disappeared was no small task; he still had a few scars from that incident… and he wondered if she had any of her own that he had given her.
