oh, pardon - cosplayer pride seeping out. let me just fix that. *slaps band-aid onto forehead* ah, better.
I actually bought fabric this week and started actual consturction of my actual costume! I was waiting to go to Sas - fabric by the pound - craft store and ot my material there. I was actually surprised at how quickly I'm coming along with it - i have the basic shirt part done and the border waiting to be sewn on (had to get thread at work today). I should actually be working on it now instead of telling you guys that ive started by i'm bad at managing my time. xd

Malu CLBS I just loved the thing that Fye always carries eek (it's a wand... but wands are small, so, I don't know how to name it sweatdrop a staff. its called a staff. *ish a 8-yr D&D veteran, magic and melee is my forte*

sou ne? I made my cosplay from the dress in clow country. Actually, the one from the 2nd volume deluxe cover. I like it the best. I haven't uploaded pictures, because I want one who looks pretty good... and the ones I have... they're not that good... sweatdrop gomen ne.

For the top part... Well, I did Syaoran's staff with something called foamboard (I don't know if in English it is the same thing. eek ), a disposable glass and...oh god! I don't know how it's named in English! It's a sphere made with a funny white material. It's very soft and made out of tiny compressed balls. It's the thing you use to make the Solar System for elementary school (I hope you understood... eek ) Anyway, there's another way, using plaster. I don't know how to describe it... since I haven't done anything using that method. Why don't you analize how the guy/girl in the picture I posted earlier made the gem thing at the top? Looks like invisible fiber.

Yaya han mentioned that anime outfits are often plain as its easier to draw time and time again. she suggested glamming up an outfit or picking a very glammy outfit (paraphrasing, orf course). so, I have decided on this one.: Sakuraas you can see in the picture, its the artwork for chapter 5. this is the only picture i could find in this outfit but it still looks Sakura-y enough that people should recognize it.
