"Robert!!" Madison tried to catch him, but....
...
She whirled. All eight skeletal feet of her. Whirled, and leaned down, giving their sudden attacker the metaphorical stink-eye.
"Why you do." She ground her teeth together at him - it felt like the right response for the body, at least. "Leave friend alone." Oh, she was going to milk the big-dumb-lug act for all it was worth now. Because big dumb guys could usually hit hard.
... Here's hoping she was intimidating enough without having to, um. Hit hard. She wasn't sure what Aria and Caelius would do if she got into a fight with a random monster...

Ennéa stared at the angry dragon guy who had just kicked Robert. "I know he's small and looks like a good kicking target, but why'd you do that for??" she cried. "That wasn't very nice!" she scolded.

His kick connected wonderfully.
"Well that made me feel tons better."
Stopping and watching the gnome fly off, Jericho felt incredibly satisfied now. The rage he felt was virtually gone. Grinning, he let out a breath before looking to the other student that had been patting the gnome before he punted him. Both undead in the area seemed to be unhappy with what he had done...
The large one also had... a bit of a weird voice. Maybe his vocal chords got messed up somewhere. In any case, the dragon wasn't all that intimidated by the larger undead.
For one thing. He had fire on his side. The bane of the undead. He was in a better mood, but it wasn't enough that he couldn't be provoked again.
"I was pissed off. And all the gnomes deserve a good kick now and then," he said while frowning, "I wouldn't too friendly with them. They'll throw taco's at you, harass your friends. They're a bunch of snotty little twerps."

"Tacos?" Ennéa tilted her head. Well, she wouldn't put it past Robert to throw tacos. The other hunter would probably just as soon eat it though, given how he tended to eat like a starving arctic wolf during mealtimes.
Anyway, Robert only looked like a gnome. He wasn't really a gnome.
She frowned at the dragon guy. "He was still my friend." she pouted. "Now I'll have to go look for him. Thanks a lot." She stuck her tongue out at him. It was partially rotted.

Madison stared down at the - what the hell was he, a dragon or something? - and tried to figure out what to do, what to say, anything that wasn't laying him out with a smack. Because it would be so easy. Her hands were so big, and he was so close, and the arms were powerful...
Listen to us, Kouki interjected, his voice urgent. A fight here would be disastrous. We must avoid conflict. Repeat after me...
Madison gritted her teeth, but she repeated after her weapon, though naturally the dragon-whatever couldn't hear his words. "Gnome friend. Already dead. Been through enough."
She straightened up, though the urge to backhand the dragon-whatever was pretty damn strong. Robert was Phoenix, damnit, and no stupid monster...
Rrrgh. "We go catch. Not do again." She glared at the dragon-whatever, though the effect was probably lost because of her lack of eyeballs.

Jericho narrowed his eyes at the two. Were they so stupid or desperate for friends that they actually turned to a gnome of all things? He wouldn't past those little bastards to be little back stabbers too.
Still not all that intimidated by the skeleton, he just sneered back.
"Already dead eh? Just be glad I didn't set him on fire then. You know how you undead are so wonderfully flammable," he growled, "Go on. Find your friend. And hope he doesn't end up stabbing you in the back at some point."

Rrrgh. Just walk away. Just walk away. Kouki was urging her to do the same.
Wishing she had a tongue to stick out at the dragon-whatever too, Madison turned on her bony heels and strode away from the booth. But she would remember the dragon boy... for later. Oh yes.

"At least he's not a big jerk like you!" Ennéa stamped her foot and then winced slightly as it squelched wetly. She stuck her tongue out at the dragon guy one last time and then and scurried after Madison.

Ys was getting used to the leering old man, though he still unnerved her a bit. With a friendly wave in greeting, she edged over to the game and chose a raggedy looking dart. Without the usual aiming preamble, she just chucked it at the wall of balloons and hope it stuck. This time, there was a satisfying POP! that surprised the ghoul after her repeated failed attempts. "Yess, finally!" She clapped slowly as she looked over at the deflated balloon with its wings a-drooping. That was much better, much better indeed. ((Minis name: DragonSpeaker))

Adyian was having lots of fun at this festival and he came back to the balloon popping booth as it was one of his favorite games to play, well it did help that he did get seeds from it every now and then to play other games. This time he was just going to throw the dart at random to see what would happen. So he picked up a dart and gave it a throw and hoped that it would hit one of those balloons.

I derped and just rolled one dice instead of two, hopefully this is ok to do. Also if its not vaild that is fine as well. Adyian smiled as he saw that this time he had won two seeds as it ment that he could play more games. Walking off he tried to deside on what games he would play this time around. Willow's tail flickered as she passed the batty booth again deciding to give this another try. It was fun to at least attempt to pop a balloon. She lined the dart up with a balloon and aimed for it hoping to have some luck.

Ari had noticed a commotion at this booth and decided to drop by; after all, she was here to gather information, right? What better way to get information than to follow the civilians and see what they do? She arrived just in time to see something flying off into the distance and several "Halloweeners" (Hunters in disguise) walking away in the same direction, presumably to find the thing that was flying away.
... Odd.
The booth caught her attention soon enough, however, and she walked towards the creepy looking old guy behind it; ugh, she had to touch a dart that all those disgusting creatures touched... But she needed the seeds! She had lost hers while trying to steal that fish egg from another booth, but she had to return with at least one of these 'minipets' for her mission!
Taking the dart, she threw it at the wall after pausing for a second to aim. She smirked as the balloon popped, holding out her hand for the seeds and then taking them without a single word of thanks before she left; time to complete her mission!

Mia looked at the newly written sign, from the sounds of it the odds had been lowered further. Even if she hit something she might not get something. That was kind of saddening, but it was still a free game so she couldn't say much on it.
Picking up a dart, Mia took a look at the board and threw it at one of the balloons, which missed completely embedding itself between balloons. She pouted a bit. Well, no luck there.

Madison approached the shoddy little balloon booth with some trepidation. She didn't want to meet that dragon a*****e again... but, to her relief, he didn't seem around. In fact, the entire booth seemed remarkably deserted other than the - ugh - fluttering bats.
"Maybe this'll work," she muttered, nodding to Ennea with a tinge of nervousness. She really wasn't sure what they'd do if they didn't get a new seed soon. Again she gingerly picked up a dart, positioned it, and drew back one finger to flick it at the targets...
It didn't so much fly as fall. Straight down. Nearly impaling her foot. "Gah!"
Inside her head, Kouki snorked.
