Noj nodded in agreement, deciding to leave his hair alone for now. "So then, rest and relaxation it is, I won't complain." He'd begin feeling restless for sure, but he'd keep a lid on it. He ran a finger across a cut that followed his cheek from around his earlobe to his nostril. It'd fade, but it would still be a light scar on his face, whatever. He was just lucky it wasn't deeper, otherwise he'd be a little less active right now.

"We both need it," she agreed with a slight sigh of relief. She had been worried Noj might have argued that they had to keep moving or something like that. Cellyn yawned and abruptly realized how tired she was, the events of the past few days catching up to her again. Noj may have had rest from passing out, but she hadn't and her body was starting to feel the effects. She rolled over, back to Noj, and hugged her pillow. "I'm going to try to get some sleep, try not to be too noisy," she informed him over her shoulder.

Noj shook his head, "I'm going to sleep soon too, so don't worry, besides, depraving people of sleep is an over all bad idea anyway." Unless you were questioning them... "I'm just gonna be up a little longer to make sure the black dye doesn't stain anything while I'm asleep." Moving over to the bed, he leaned against the bedpost near the fire, and stared at the flames, letting his mind wander. He still couldn't help but feel as if he was missing something. Supposedly the Aes Sedai and the men who where flocking her had passed through, but he doubted that the Aes Sedai would let her fangs out of Cellyn anytime soon, yet at the same time he sorely doubted she would stay in the woods over the most expensive room in the entire village, even if she had to evict the owner. Meh.

Cellyn let herself drift to sleep, surprisingly relaxed considering Noj was still up and about. It was actually comforting to have someone else in the room, considering all that had happened, and she wasn't even worried about anyone trying to kidnap her again with Noj there and looking aggravated.
It was bright, but the sunlight didn't help the chill that ran through her spine. She looked down and saw her clothes flickering in out of existence, changing like wisps of smoke around her body. Cellyn frowned - that wasn't right. She wasn't some fog person, something that changed with the wind. She was real. Her figure shifted for another moment before she solidified and she nodded in satisfaction. That was better. She looked around again, expecting a dim, foggy forest to match her intuition. To her amazement, even as she thought it the sunny field around her warped, melting into exactly the image that was in her mind. "All right, that was freaky," she murmured, picking her way through the tangled roots and scanning around. There didn't seem to be anyone else around, although every few moments a foggy figure would slip in and out, like they were only dropping in for a visit. Images floated around them and she narrowed her eyes in an effort to see better, but nothing. Sighing, Cellyn continued walking, although where she was going she really didn't know. Suddenly a bright flash of light blinded her and she fell to the ground, fearing she would be seared from the inside out. When was able to look up again, there was a person a little ways in front of her. He seemed similar, but she could only see his back, a cloak blowing in an invisible breeze with an emblem on it she couldn't make it. Cellyn got to her feet, frustrated, but the image flickered out, replaced with a massive battlefield. "Oh, not again," she whispered in fright, recognizing the same scene from her previous nightmares. She tried to back away from it, but she found herself inexplicably in the middle of the battle once again. Men screamed their death rattles everywhere around her and she began to sweat. A pressure on her throat suddenly caused her hands to rise against her will. To her astonishment there was a silver collar around her throat, a chain dragging on the ground behind her, leading somewhere she couldn't see. She picked it up and tried to follow it, but something pulled her back. Cellyn yelped in pain when her arm suddenly burned and she looked down to see a gash in her forearm from something - an arrow or passing sword, it didn't matter. "I want to wake up!" she demanded, her voice shaky from fright. "I want to wake up! I want to leave!"

The dreaming world was a strange one, though the old man had gotten used to living there. Was he an old man? He couldn't remember, but he felt like one, so that's what he was. His talk with the boy a day or so...he thought...earlier was interesting if brief. It wasn't every day that you chatted with someone who was located in the apex of the change of the age. It was strange that the, or at least one of the, central figures of an age would be born at the same time as the one for the age previous. Damnation, he was certain that Three Souls was born before the Dragon. Three Souls? Odd name to come to mind, but it wasn't inaccurate by any means. What ever the boy was, the was three threads braided into one, like a single, heavy thread. That was probably why he drew on the pattern, since his thread was heavy than most. He wasn't sure if Three Souls was Ta'varen, but if not he was close. No matter.
Strolling along, or what ever one does in the Dreaming World, he noticed something...odd. A woman who was running around, yelling something. Something along the lines a large battlefield was flickering in and out of view, apparently she was new here. She tickled the back of his mind just like Three Souls did, but she belonged here, so it couldn't discern her fates as much. Pity. Grabbing her by the shoulder, he moved across a vast distance, to the mountains over in another place. He'd kinda lost track of what things were called in the waking world. "It's not good to get caught up in your own dreams when you come here, they more than not are rather dangerous if they are strong enough to leave impression here."

Cellyn gasped, whirling around to stare at the old man. He seemed solid enough like her and yet...he didn't seem to really quite fit in anywhere, somewhere. She blinked as the battlefield faded away to the previous forest and sighed in relief. "Thank you," she breathed, taking a moment to collect herself. Something warm trickled down her fingers and she looked to see blood dripping on the ground, the gash in her arm long and deep. She winced, suddenly feeling a flash of pain, and looked up when the old man kept a firm grip on her arm. "These are...dreams? It seemed too real to just be a dream..." Her voice trailed off as she frowned. "Maybe not dreams, but something else," the old man murmured, peering at her with a frown of his own. He began to say something, but Cellyn jumped as something pricked the back of her mind. It felt like something was...looking for her? "You need to go," he ordered, giving her a little shove. "How do I leave?" she demanded, but he only laughed and faded from her vision. She began to yell in anger, but something jolted her and the forest faded too, blackness surrounding her.

Noj paused as he was getting ready to sleep, he smelt...blood, of the fresh variety. Looking around, he spotted Cellyn, who had a rather nasty gash on her arm. "What in damnation?" Sighing through his teeth, he went over, and took out his knife and cut the sheet for a makeshift bandage, and began tying it to Cellyn one handed, keeping his other hand pressed against her vein to slow the bleeding. She had woken up, if in a very shallow manner, but he didn't let that stop him. Tying off the bandage, he shook his head. They'd have to buy a new sheet for the inn, but it was taken care of. The wound wasn't as deep as it appeared, and should stop close properly in a day or two, but still, it was completely explainable, and bothered him. He could protect her from an Aes Sedai, or a Warder, but if she was going to sprout wounds from no where, she was in trouble.

Cellyn blinked a few times, trying to get her bearings as she slowly returned to something resembling consciousness. The fact that Noj was practically on top of her for some reason slowly began to sink into her brain and she swallowed a shriek of rage for a choking protest. "Wha...what are...bloody Light, that hurts!" she swore, glancing down at her arm and astonished to see the same wound from her dream in the flesh - her flesh. She glanced up at Noj, who didn't look happy - he never looked happy, though, so that was no worry - and back at her arm.

Noj got up and shook his head. "Sorry for the interruption, I just noticed that you began to spontaneously bleed." Meh, he was using larger words than normal, but Noj saw no reason to keep up his stupid charade, so whatever. "I'm not sure what you did, but I'd appreciate it if you didn't do it. I can fight Trollocs and Myrdraal and such, but if you're going to drop at any second you're outta luck." He didn't know how to explain what happened, but he didn't really care. One didn't live long if they stopped to gawk and every little thing that escaped their comprehension. Noj sighed, this time leaning against the side of the fireplace, it kept him warm, but also kept Cellyn in sight.

"What do you mean, what I did? I didn't do anything!" She instantly bristled at him, the pain in her arm momentarily forgotten by indignation. The stupid man automatically assumed it was her fault before even asking her anything! "And if I did do something, I don't know what," Cellyn added snidely, before looking back down at her arm and frowning. Everything was hazy, save for the old man and the moment she was cut. "That old man..." she murmured, closing her eyes for a moment. The room spun when she opened them again and she bent over, feeling sick.

Noj raised an eyebrow. As far as he knew, there hadn't been a single old man enter or exit this room since he came in, and unless she was talking to him in the third person, which he doubted, then he had no clue. "What do you mean by old man Cellyn?" God, don't add more to my plate. Asha'man, Aes Sedai, Warders, kidnappings, Myrdraal, Darkfriends, the fact she could channel, the fact he could channel. If strange old men and random wounds coming into reality unbidden were added to his meal, then by the Creator he'd have a long time to mull it over in his private time.

Cellyn opened her mouth to explain, then shut it again, having glanced at Noj's face. Any displeasure wasn't directed at her, she knew, but it didn't change the fact that the man was fast becoming a basket case of nerves if she added more to his plate. "I must have just been dreaming," she murmured, carefully not looking at her arm and the proof that it wasn't a regular dream at all. The old man had something to do with it, at least knew what was going on, she was sure of it. But there was nothing either of them could do about it right now.

Noj looked her up and down, then sighed. "Alright, whatever." He knew that she was keeping quiet, but trusted her enough to bring something immediately important to the situation to light. The last memory Noj had of an old man in his business seemed rather funny, probably a dream, probably related, but again, whatever. Taking another sigh, he forced out his stress a little. "I apologize, I'm just a little wound up after everything, and still suffer some impulses a younger man would have." Even being the age he was, where a normal man would have lost a majority of their hot blood, at least normally, Noj was still physically a young man, and that affected his judgement sometimes. Bloody channeling. "So then, I don't know what good it's worth, but try to sleep well, we're supposed to be recovering here, if I remember right."

"I remember," she murmured, wincing as she moved her arm and received a sting of pain for her trouble. Cellyn thought over what Noj said, watching as he retreated to his side of the small room, and frowned. "Wait, how old exactly are you?" she demanded curiously, peering at him through narrowed eyes. "You hardly look as old as you make yourself sound sometimes. Is it an effect of channeling?" she asked, the idea popping into her head. She played stupid very often, but she wasn't that and she knew enough of channeling to guess it caused some very strange things.

"Thought I told you before, whatever, next summer I turn thirty six years old, even if I don't look it, and yes, I think it is attributed to channeling.notice how Aes Sedai can be anywhere from twenty to a few hundred years old? Works with men too apparently. Though, I doubt I'll live up to the claim. I get in a little too much trouble to in all likely hood live a normal life span, never the less hundreds of years. But who knows. I just can't wait till I'm no longer physically a young a man as I am. I am past my awkward years, but just close enough to feel effects from it. Meh." He trusted that Cellyn was well versed in the world enough to know the problems that a young man had to deal with physically, such as the extra necessary hygiene and the like. The most annoying part was that his voice still occasionally cracked awkwardly, if he didn't hold his voice just the right way. All and all, a twenty year odd puberty was not something that was enviable, and if channelers aged as slow as reported, he could very well have to deal with it for ten or more years, if he lived that long. Bah.
