Vaith could practically taste the fog at this point. Ugh. It didn't taste good.
Was the fog supposed to keep getting thicker? He looked down, the only thing left of Emily was a hand.. and perhaps, the faintest glimpse of a dark silhouette before him at times.
Or nothing at all but white.
"Uh .. Missy .. Are you sure you know where we're going? I really dont mind a tryst or something but your timing may be lacking. Just a little bit." Vaith waved his other hand uselessly in front of his face, the fog so thick, it almost looked solid.

The hand startled at the mention of "tryst" so much so that she nearly let go before firmly grasping his hand again. "Oh...t-that's....um..." Fortunately she was saved from having to think of an appropriate response by nearly falling into a big hole in the ground. The only thing that saved her was the grip of the other reaper's hand. The small area around the hole was blessedly clear of fog, and Emily happily announced, "We're here! And I didn't even fall this time..."

LW was breathing a little heavy. Jack, she wasn't this out of shape was she? No. That wasn't it. It was all the running she'd done before this. And the fighting. Freaking out. Losing her mind. It was nice to have something normal to focus on. Chasing a kelpie was very normal. In wolf standards at least. Ok maybe not that normal. But it sure beat standing around and letting the fog devour her. Plus, keeping moving kept her from thinking on where her friends currently were.
Quite suddenly Tybalt froze and LW almost ran head long into him. She managed to twist around, using those dancing skills for something useful and stopped, glancing at the black dog and back in the direction the kelpie's scent was coming. It was stronger now. They were gaining on him.
"Come on! We're almost on him!" So there may have been a little more excitement in her voice than was needed. The she-wolf did like to run though. And it was even more rushing when you were closing in on your kill....err the person you were chasing?
LW picked up the pace again when Tybalt seemed to be back in the game. They were closer again. Closer. "Do you see him?" She asked, glancing at the other canines and sniffing the air. "We should see him. That horse smell is strong." Something else was in the air as well. She couldn't place it and it was only a small thing, yet it was very familiar. Where had she smelled it before? The she-wolf frowned. Stupid fog.
WAITAMINUTE. She DID know this scent. This time it was the she-wolf that froze. Her violet eyes stared off to the side, where the fog looked really thick. That something inside her tightened even more and the she-wolf knew she wouldn't be able to ignore this. Her gaze drifted back to the others, chasing the kelpie. "Keep going without me. I-I need to check something." Before saying anything else, she dashed straight into the fog....was that a piece of her map again?! LW disappeared, swallowed up by the ever present (and very annoying) fog.

Tybalt was grateful when LW called to him; snapping him out of the illusion that his brother was there. Grateful and relieved. Illusion or not the mere memory of his brother was enough to make him shake in fear and though he was gone now, if they were to encounter more fog would he be back? He hoped not, but the thought lingering in his mind began to eat away at him. It was enough to drive one insane. But wasn't he already insane? Certainly no one was currently in their right state of mind. Their past actions throughout the night were proof of that.
"I don't see him yet!" He called back. How could he? The fog was doing a fine job of preventing anyone from seeing anything. No matter how good their eyesight was. But he knew they were close! The kelpie's scent was certainly stronger than before and the longer they ran, the closer he felt that they were reaching their destination!
"Ah! Wait! Not that way!" He called to the werewolf ghoul as she took off in another direction. Had she found something else perhaps? Or did she just not know where the scent was coming from? He wasn't sure, but he knew Calder was up ahead and he didn't want to take any detours now.
Damn it...
:Careful little brother~ Danger lies ahead~: Came the voice, but when Tybalt looked over his shoulder, there was no sign of his brother.
(( Rushed post, but eh. |D Moving onto the other thread. Feel free to continue following Tybalt if you'd like. <: ))

Face still stained with tears and looking overall rather frazzled, Belladonna hurried up the path from the shore toward the cornfield. Blindly running (from the voices? From the fog that was still inside her, swirling around in her blood, in her lungs, in her everywhere?) the witch hadn't noticed where she was until her hands had to reach up to create a path. "Corn?" She inquired out loud, pausing for a second to turn to a very particular cornstalk. "Oh shut up, just SHUT UP OK!? I am SICK and TIRED of what YOU have to say. This entire time its been "You're so slow" or "That dress makes you look fat" or "Why didn't you help that hurt girl? You b***h" well you KNOW WHAT?!" Belladonna stepped up to the cornstalk and slapped it once, hard, before turning and running away. "Take that Delphinium!" Ah, it made more sense now. One of her invisible tormentors was her sister. How lovely.
The stalks grew denser as she grew and eventually her running slowed to a brisk walk, her hands occasionally darting up to her cheeks in attempt to dry them, but nothing seemed to work. Fresh tears always fell again. "I think I'm lost..." She mumbled out loud, one hand reaching out to someone who wasn't there. "You would have kept me found, wouldn't you have?" A moment of silence whereupon in her mind the person replied and Belladonna laughed, once and sharply, but it was a laugh and she understood that at least. "Right. OK. Have to find Daisuke... If you see him, shout at me ok?" The person replied in the affirmative, more tears fell and Belladonna ran straight forward... Until she reached a grave. How interesting!

Running, or rather in israfel's case, hopping and fluttering, forward, the illusion of the talking scarecrow was gone with just another glide forward. But in looking back, he failed to look forward, and soon found himself alone once more. A jolt of fear ran down his spine. Alone again. He failed. He'd lost them. Just like he lost so many other things. Just like he might some day lose his voice. His feathers. His wings. He'd lose it all if he could never sing. Panic set in again, and he began to fidget. He had to keep moving, he had to keep trying. He couldn't fail. He wouldn't fail. He was a siren. He would sing.
His name was Israfel.
NOT Israfail.

Whisper saw people starting to disappear, though that wasn't that surprising considering the thickness of the fog. She managed to barely catch a shadow in the short distance, and decided to chase after it. After all, she wasn't going to risk being alone again. Who knows what craziness could be fall her.

Barth squeaked, "Now- now wait a minute- don't-! .......err, oh." Hugging, right, he was being hugged. Not crushed and strangled. He patted Christof's back awkwardly.
It was painfully similar to when they had first met.
"No mercy killing, alright? No matter how dire. If I err- want that I'll ask for it. And even then really you should ignore me because it's err, not over until it's over. As they say."
Right now he was not talking about his dad. About the empty foyeur. About not stopping at just one. About what that could mean, and whether his sisters were all dead, and any moment, he might hear his Name again, too close to come back...no, not now. He didn't want to bring it up. The fire, immediate and hot, had a solution.
He wriggled warily free of Christof.
"Now, err, about that door. What did she say, where the smoke was thickest...?"

Wobbling, Christof awkwardly pulled back. He didn't know anything about a Door, or about any smoke, but the fog was thick and making his head reel. Glancing about, he could dimly see other students rushing past in a particular direction.... But where was Calder?
Suddenly the pit of his stomach sank. Calder.... that poor, silly, stupid Boil, he hadn't gotten himself in trouble had he?? With an anxious noise in his throat, he grabbed Barth forcefully, despite any protests, tossing the skinny boil's long frame over his hunch before running after the last of the shifting movements, praying it was not an illusion.

She wasn't sure how long she had been lost in the cornfields. It seemed the voices and sounds she was hearing kept pulling her in every direction. Lying to her about the way out. She had no way to know for sure but she believed she had been going in circles. And the noises wouldn't cease. The voices wouldn't shut up.
She was about to give up when she saw something. It was little more than a shadow moving in the cornfields but it had been real, hadn't it? It had to be! It was the only hope she had left. Hoping it was another student, she ran after it. She tried not to notice the fog getting thicker as she ran, or that the drumming sound in her head was intensifying. She just ran.

Sammy was having a rough time, apparently Rain was holding up better then she was, during the whole 'knocked out and nearly drowning' after a bunch of horrible brought to life fake mini pets attacked her ship.
So as Rain moved ahead and the fog set in Sammy started to cough even harder spitting up a bit more water. Something wasn't right though as they wandered through the corn field. Was that Shine crying in the distance?
For a moment she paused glancing into the fog. Should she help? For a long moment she debated that question. Slowly rolling her mace in her hands debating if it would be worth wandering away. The crying continued to echo in the fog and it sent a shiver down her spine.
So she continued on quietly glaring through the fog trying to spot Rain's figure as they went.
Of course the fog only got worst and Rain vanished from Sammy's site. Something was moving closer, she could hear it. Jooooooin usssss~! Pausing Sammy turned to look around raising her mace to swing at a shadow. "BACK OFF!" Yooou caaaan't stooooop us... "No! No I won't listen to you!" With another hack of a cough the water came up again, every swing with her mace going wide and wild as she swung at unseen monsters. Yoooou won't get off this island alive....
Another rack of coughs hit her and she stumbled to the dirt crawling along. Why was this happening? Was it the Cruel-aid still in her system? No it wasn't purple enough to be Cruel-aid. Something was wrong though, her back pack was missing and during her coughing she had dropped her mace. "Oh hell... Jack-dammit all." She clenched her eyes shut coughing again falling down in her attempts to get up. "W-why what's going on..." She wanted to cry, she missed Siddie, she just lost Rain, Riley was nowhere to be around. She had nothing going in her favor now.
You will DIE
Slapping at the ground she finally got her hand on the mace bringing it up in a wild swing smashing into one of the few tree's around crushing bark and causing flakes to snap at her face. "W-what where..." Slowly she got up glancing around for her pack. It was missing still and she needed it, she needed it right now.
Shuffling around he prodded the ground with her mace trying to find the pack, when she finally did she realized she had stumbled on something, it looked like the entrance to some kind of underground.. tugging up her bag she started to stumble towards the entrance, anything to get out of this creepy corn field.
"I just want to go home..." she muttered as she shuffled in.
