Rarepaw Clan: Seaclan Rank: Apprentice Mate: None I speak my mind... :。✿*゚‘゚・✿.。.:*.:。✿*゚’゚・✿.。 Rarepaw hissed as she stumbled when Dragonfire bumped her. "What business is it of her's what I say!" She hissed under her breath. "Besides if Ivoryscales hadn't left me here, I could be doing something useful!" She continued to grumble. She saw that Dragonfire and Snowpool had brought a stranger back with them, that didn't smell at all of Seaclan. "Looks like they picked up a stranger on their hunt. I wonder why they didn't chase him off?" She asked Kindsoul, though she noticed that the older she-cat wasn't paying any attention to her. :。✿*゚‘゚・✿.。.:*.:。✿*゚’゚・✿.。 ...So I'm not forgotten. occ: Kindsoul Clan: Seaclan Rank: Warrior Mate: None Let me heal... :。✿*゚‘゚・✿.。.:*.:。✿*゚’゚・✿.。 Kindsoul didn't even hear Rarepaw speaking. She was too focused on the tom-cat that the deputy had brought back. "He's very handsome." She thought to herself, and watched as they brought him to the leader's den. To say that was was curious about him was an understatement. She's never spoken to a cat not form a clan before, and she had so many questions. "I wonder if he will ask Shiftstar to stay with us?" She hoped that she would get the chance to talk to him, if he was staying.
She finally dragged her mind away to listen to what Rarepaw was saying. "She's our Deputy, Rarepaw, it is her business what you say. He is interesting, isn't he?" She switched topics from the Deputy to the Loner.

LOCATION: Seaclan clearing (Has Seaclan moved to the caves?) COMPANY: Rarepaw, Kindsoul, Dragonfire, Snowpool >> Shiftstar OOC: Cluelessness to the max~
The moment the russet tom stepped into Seaclan camp, his head spun as different scents invaded his nose, mostly because of the smells of all the different cats. The tom kept a safe distance from Dragonfire as he had learned his lesson well form the trigger happy she-cat. The salty smell of the sea hit his nose, making him wrinkle his nose slightly at the strange scent. This "territory", as the cats here called it, they certainly chose a strange place to live in. He turned his ear towards Dragonfire as she reprimanded a younger she-cat, and at her words the tom leaned forwards, peering closely at Rarepaw as he looked over her smooth and well-groomed fur. "I did not realise that saliva can make our fur shinier." He commented in a gruff monotone, staring at Rarepaw's fur intently with intense blue hues as he tried to discern whether or not her fur was shinier than normal cats, until he noticed Dragonfire and Snowpool walking away quickly and he hurried to follow.
He trotted after Dragonfire to the cave, which apparently served as the home to a "Shiftstar". The orange she-cat meowed into the entrance, and following suit the brown tom peered inside curiously, but all he saw was blackness. "Does a star dwell within this cave, since you spoke of a Star of Shift?" He asked Dragonfire curiously, his tone perfectly serious and genuinely curious. He sniffed along the entrance of the cave, expecting to find some foreign, unearthly scent, but all he could smell was cat. Strange, very strange indeed.

Rarepaw Clan: Seaclan Rank: Apprentice Mate: None I speak my mind... :。✿*゚‘゚・✿.。.:*.:。✿*゚’゚・✿.。 Rarepaw heard the Loner's comment, and purred, happy that her fur would be considered 'shiny'. She spun around and began to clean her fur more. As she was doing that she listened to Kindsoul prattle on about how confusing and strange this all must be for the Loner, and how much she wanted to get the chance to talk to him. Oh, and that she hoped her would get to stay. It didn't matter at all to Rarepaw if he stayed or not, though she was a worried he might be useless for fighting and hunting, and become a burden on the clan. Though she also wished that Kindsoul would get to meet him, so she wouldn't have to hear about it. And Kindsoul said something about him being 'handsome'. She couldn't imagen finding an unclean Loner attractive. "Kindsoul you are a strange cat." She told her. :。✿*゚‘゚・✿.。.:*.:。✿*゚’゚・✿.。 ...So I'm not forgotten. occ:

 Lostpaw
"Real tears are not those that fall from the eyes and cover the face, but those that fall from the heart and cover the soul."
SeaClan----Apprentice Lostpaw sat at the edge of the clearing, his head short up from his grooming as the sent of a stranger invaded his nostrils. The young apprentice leaped to his paws, fur bristling. The undersized apprentice flattened his ears, piercing eyes narrowing. Even without hearing what the stranger had said, Lostpaw had seen his mouth moving and hissed.
Lostpaw's hostilities mounted at the easy actions of the Loner. Walking stiff legged over to Rarepaw, he growled, "Wha's ee doin' ere?" The white apprentice was usually very friendly, but not when he felt as vulnerable as he did now. Even with all the warriors the Clan had Lostpaw still felt exposed.
Lostpaw looked the Loner up and down, taking in his every detail, including his sent. He didn't like the tom in the least. And what was he doing here? Listening hard, the partially deaf apprentice bristled, waiting for an answer from Rarepaw that he couldn't dare miss hearing.

"I'm not totally sure, since I haven't asked him. But if you want to know you should him. Though since he came in here with a warrior escort, I think he has a question for Shitstar." She told him, a purr in her voice. The whole situation amused her. A Loner joining her clan! "Kindsoul seems to think that he's going to ask to stay here, with us. It would be silly of him, though, don't you think? He would have to be apprenticed, at his age!" She let out a mrrow of laughter at the thought. "Can you imagine? He knows as much about clan life as a newborn kit!" She added. :。✿*゚‘゚・✿.。.:*.:。✿*゚’゚・✿.。 ...So I'm not forgotten. occ: Kindsoul Clan: Seaclan Rank: Warrior Mate: None Let me heal... :。✿*゚‘゚・✿.。.:*.:。✿*゚’゚・✿.。 "Rarepaw, be nice. He doesn't know our ways, because that's not how he grew up. And if he wants to, he will learn." Kindsoul gently chastised Rarepaw. Her own hopes that he was staying, fluttered up again. "And it's honourable that he isn't acting scared, with all these warriors around." She said with a glance at Lostpaw, hoping to both calm him, and to make him relax himself. "It would be very scary to walk into a place with so many cats watching you, especially if they were acting hostile, don't you think? I know I would be scared, even as a warrior." :。✿*゚‘゚・✿.。.:*.:。✿*゚’゚・✿.。 ...your broken heart. occ:

 Lostpaw
"Real tears are not those that fall from the eyes and cover the face, but those that fall from the heart and cover the soul."
SeaClan----Apprentice Lostpaw gave Rarepaw a long look. He listened to her, standing next to her, he could hear her fairly well. "I dun know," he muttered, his slurred speech hard to understand. He didn't particularly like the stranger, he smelled, well, strange. The snowy apprentice's vastly different colored eyes focused on the Loner, picking out every detail. With his lacking in hearing, the undersized apprentice's eye sight and sense of smell were stronger than they otherwise would have been, a form of compensation.
"D' ya r'lly th'nk h'll stay 'r blong?" He asked, glancing back at Rarepaw and Kindsoul. What did the Loner really want? He wondered. Usually refusing to talk, except to his litter mate, Lostpaw had questions he wanted answered and he wasn't about ready to let his hearing or his speech impairments slow him down. And on top of that, he was beginning to want Rarepaw to be a friend of his, if and only if she would accept his, hearing problems or not.

"Who knows, he may not even be asking that. He could just be brought here to receive punishment for attacking our warriors or something." She replied, turing to smile at Lostpaw. "And even if he is asking to stay here, who knows if Shiftstar will let him. Having a Loner in our clan could be a weakness, if he can't protect the clan properly." She didn't have anything against the Loner though. If Shiftstar let him stay, then whatever. As log as he wasn't an annoying cat, or was mean to her friends, he could be a dog for all she cared. :。✿*゚‘゚・✿.。.:*.:。✿*゚’゚・✿.。 ...So I'm not forgotten. occ: Lostpaw's a cute cat!

 Lostpaw
"Real tears are not those that fall from the eyes and cover the face, but those that fall from the heart and cover the soul."
SeaClan----Apprentice The white apprentice nodded in agreement. He turned fully to look at the pretty she-cat, Rarepaw. Lostpaw was considerably smaller than her and much younger. He didn't know what to say now, though he heartily agreed with Rarepaw. He flicked his tail and sat down, wrapping it around his forepaws.
A wave of mixed emotions washed over Lostpaw. Protect the clan properly... The tip of his tail twitched as he drifted off into thought. He could hear very well which had unwanted affects on his ability to hunt and to fight. That would effect how well he could protect his clan. Maybe he wasn't suited to be a warrior's apprentice! He thought, panic washing over him. No! All his kit hood he had wanted to be a warrior and he wasn't about to let go of that dream! He would be the strongest seaClan warrior the clans had ever seen!
Lostpaw gazed at his paws, suddenly realizing just how much smaller than his littermate and the other apprentices he was. It was as if frozen claws had grasped his heart and opened his eyes. Was that how the other cats saw him? Lostpaw just didn't know.
The snowy apprentice swiveled his bat-like ears around, listening to the muffled sounds of the ocean and drawing in the sents of the camp, taking comfort from the familiar settings. He would prove himself to the clan.

She asked him, trying to catch his eyes with her own, so she could make sure he was alright. She hoped he wasn't feeling sick. Then she would have to take him to the medicine cat. And being sick was not very fun, from what she remembered. Her parents used to fon over her, whenever she was sick, as they always did. "You're not feeling sick are you?" She said, touching her nose to his shoulder. She saw shock on Kindsoul's face. "What? I can be kind too you know!" She hissed at her. But then her eyes went back to Lostpaw. :。✿*゚‘゚・✿.。.:*.:。✿*゚’゚・✿.。 ...So I'm not forgotten. occ:

 Lostpaw
"Real tears are not those that fall from the eyes and cover the face, but those that fall from the heart and cover the soul."
SeaClan----Apprentice Lostpaw closed his eyes, pushing his nose into Rarepaw's fur on her cheek before mewing: "I'm f'ne." He drew away from the pretty she-cat and licked her cheek. He had always been wary of the other apprentices, but never friendly as he was being to Rarepaw. Was it okay to be acting like this, he wondered. Sighing softly, the snowy apprentice pushed his worries to the back of his mind, after all, he had become an apprentice when he had doubted he would, with training he could become a fine warrior. With these thoughts he half closed his eyes. Tiredness washed over the young apprentice and he subconsciously leaned into Rarepaw the way he would lean into his mother when he was a kit.

Her eyes went wide when he licked her cheek, but she let out a short purr, letting him know she didn't mind. "Why don't I mind?" She thought to herself. "If any other cat did that to me- except for maybe Kindsoul- I'd bite their head off." She thought about it, and decided there was just something about Lostpaw that didn't make her feel like he was looking down on her, or forgetting about her. She released a shocked breath when she realized, she wanted to be his friend! That had only ever happened to her before once, with Kindsoul, who was now like a sister to her. Kindsoul had seen her pain when others hadn't. Hadn't forgotten her. And something made her feel like Lostpaw wouldn't either. "What's wrong with me?!" She thought, frantic. But she felt Lostpaw lean into her, and she calmed down. "I'm glad." She told him. :。✿*゚‘゚・✿.。.:*.:。✿*゚’゚・✿.。 ...So I'm not forgotten. occ:

In matters of style, swim with the current; In matters of principle, stand like a rock. "It takes courage, To grow up and become who you really are" (Due to me still being pretty confused, despite the many messages that were sent to me, I will do what I can. If I miss something please tell me. Oh and thank you guys for clearing things up!)
Shiftstar had scented something strange. Dragonfire's voice was clearly audible as she reprimanded some cat for doing something. She kept her eyes closed, trying to take the nap that she so desired and desperately needed. Before long, her deputy called into the lonely cave she called home. She sighed at the news. A rogue, a loner? Either way they were a stranger to the clan as Dragonfire had said. The odd scent grew stronger and the voice of a tom resounded off the walls.
Shiftstar opened her eyes, light glinting back at the strange tom. She narrowed her eyes. No cat, taught or not to follow the warrior code could come in her den uninvited. Shiftstar rose to her paws and charged at the tom, slowing down enough not to hurt him if she should tackle him. She shoved him from looking in her den and exited herself. Her fur prickled with uneasiness.
"I am no star. I am the leader of this clan." Shiftstar explained, "Thank you Dragonfire for bringing this rogue."
The leader circled around the tom. It was her job to protect the clan and as such, sometimes she had to appear tougher then she usually was. When, if, the rogue earn her respect, she would treat him as just another tom.
"I am named Shiftstar because I am the leader. I have a connection with StarClan, our warrior ancestors. Ours. Not yours."
Shiftstar finished her circling and sat at the entrance to her cave. This rogue wished to stay with them. What right did he have to ask that. For all she knew, he could very well be a kitty-pet and his two-legs may come looking for him or he may have other cats following him. He may even be working with another clan. Giving him shelter could be dangerous.
"Tell me why you believe I should allow you to stay with us." Shiftstar glanced to Dragonfire. Now that she had a chance to see the time of day, she knew she needed to choose those that would come to the Gathering. She hadn't even considered it, and now this rogue appears. StarClan seemed to have a good sense of humor. To be nobody but yourself in a world That's doing its best to make you somebody else, Is to fight the hardest battle You are ever going to fight. Never stop fighting.

"If gods the game that You're playing, well we must be more acquainted,"
[Oceanmist stepped out of her den. After listening to all the commotion for so long, she had to see exactly what was happening. The first thing she saw; a rogue, and Shiftstar circling the tom, with tense muscles and unsheathed claws. Was he a.. A threat? Oh goodness, what was going on in Seaclan?] "Shiftstar, the gathering.." [She said, speaking calmly, approaching her leader.]
[Then she remembered.. Mosstar, and Rainface. Mosstar was the leader previous to Shiftstar. She was kind, yes. Oceanmist had the pleasure of knowing her before the leaders death. She was an apprentice at the time the jet black leader died, but she remembered something. And so the flashbacks began:]
[It was greenleaf. A rogue came into camp. Just like any curious kit, Oceankit watched as the gray and brown she-cat enter camp with Grayclaw. Who was she? Oceankit watched from afar, as Mosstar met this rogue. Her name was Rain. Rain was let into the clan with ease and kindness, much to the clans disapproval.]
[Flashbacks were over. Oceanmist shook her head, and sighed. What would Mosstar have done with this rogue? Throw him aside..? Then again, Rainface, then Rain, had warrior blood. Sighing, she looked back up at the commotion.]
"Shiftstar, keep in mind that we have a gathering to attend. This rogue will hold us back, or delay us if we pursue him any further."[She said, keeping her distance from the leader and rogue, but close enough so that the tortoiseshell could hear her.]"The gathering is our main priority. This rogue can be handled later."
"Because it must be so lonely, to be the only one who's holy."

You sit there in your heartache Waiting on s o m e beautiful boyXXXXXX XXXTo save you from your old ways XXXXYou p l a y forgiveness XXXXXXWatch him now XXXXXXHere he comes He d o e s n t look a thing like JesusXXXX But he talks like a gentleman Like you imagined when y o u were young I looked up, hearing such a commotion, my female figure appeared into the main central of camp after my Mentor, Oceanmist. I blinked, looking at the rouge, then over at my Mentor, Oceanmist. Hearing her words of wisdom they should make haste towards the Gathering soon. "Can't we just have some warriors stay behind, and the rest proceed towards our destination for the night" there was me, not using 'location' but 'destination' as if I were someone who believed in destiny or such, my brown ear twitched back, looking at the tortiose-shell Leader, I let my green eye's gaze slowly around the clearing, looking at the cat's gathered about, and seeing my Leader, Shiftstar, circling a tom. All other cat's attentions seemed to be focused on Shiftstar and this new-comer, my muscles stiffened, could he be a threat? It was a possibility, my gaze trailed down to the ground, thinking about it, could he? I glanced once more up at the cat's, it was a strong possibility, the tom seemed calm, but Shiftstar looked like she was getting ready for a war. Had he ticked off the Leader?

  Lostpaw
"Real tears are not those that fall from the eyes and cover the face, but those that fall from the heart and cover the soul."
SeaClan----Apprentice Lostpaw lifted his head, turning his attention back to the stranger, whom Shiftstar was now circling. He rose to his paws, his ears flattening again. Shiftstar was treating the loner as if he was some sort of threat, which must mean that he was. The fur along the small tom's back began to bristle and his tail began to puff up. Piercing eyes narrowed the puny apprentice arched his back and began pacing left and right a little. He curled his lips back, exposing his teeth. The snowy apprentice didn't look so much threatening and he did, perhaps, cute.
Muscles tense, Lostpaw glared at the intruder, if Shiftstar didn't like him, then neither did Lostpaw! He unsheathed his thorn sharp claws and stood bristling beside Rarepaw. He was going to be brave!
