Gryffindor Prefect Sparrow----Gryffindor ----3rdyear Gryffinclaw Quidditch Captain And Seeker Sparrow nodded understanding, "That sounds annoying and extremely different. I hope you can settle into Hogwarts quickly. It seems like it might be a big change." Sparrow had wanted to travel the world when she was older, but America had never been high on her to visit list. She now wanted to more than before because it sounded so different. "I guess I am. I kind of like it, but at other times it can be annoying because I know I should be the responsible one, but I often don't want to. It is an interesting experience though. I usually try to stay out and let a teacher handle it., but i will intervene if necessary." She had had a few instances where she had almost taken points away from students, but she just put her foot down and then let the teacher handle the rest.

Always lived my life, up to it's fullest. I've never had the chance to look back Just being myself, just being me, not trying to be what I lack. Caiden Alexander Fourth year Gryffindor Caiden nodded and gave a genuine smile to Sparrow, which was something he usually never gave out. He would give out his sheepish grin to a teacher, or an award-winning smile to a girl to tease her, but he never really gave plain smiles to anyone. "I think that you should see the school there. Hogwarts is lovely, but I guess since I went there for three years, I'm a bit partial to the school in America. It's very Modernized, although because of the magic, of course the technology doesn't work." He didn't feel the need to respond to her comments about her being a prefect. He did respect that a lot, but he didn't really know how to answer her. Instead he decided to think about something he already started to miss - Quidditch. They had it in America too, and he did miss flying around the pitch everyday. Back in America, he was his teams quidditch captain, and they one every game of the season. "I'm just curious, but do they have... a quidditch pitch here? I Thought I saw one on my way here, but I couldn't be positive because I didn't get a chance to stop by." Caiden was thinking about his broom - the Firebolt, which his mother had imported from England a few years ago. Of course, it wasn't the newest broom, but it was very nice. They still hadn't gotten them in America...

Gryffindor Prefect Sparrow----Gryffindor ----3rdyear Gryffinclaw Quidditch Captain And Seeker Sparrow grinned and nodded. "technology doesn't work inside Hogwarts either." she said. She figured he knew that already and cursed herself for stating the obvious. Sparrow wondered if he liked quidditch since he had brought up that topic. She said, "Yep its out on the grounds. Do you play?" She wondered if she had this in common with him and if he did play she wondered what position.

Always lived my life, up to it's fullest. I've never had the chance to look back Just being myself, just being me, not trying to be what I lack. Caiden Alexander Fourth year Gryffindor That didn't surprise Caiden. He suspected that the technology had to do with the magic, not with the school all along. Caiden nodded to her, and readjusted his position in his seat. They weren't uncomfortable, but they definitely weren't heavenly to sit on either. Plus, wearing robes was new to him. They weren't required back at his old school, only for formal events and school meetings and such. They used muggle clothing because muggles could get to the school, so they had to blend in as well as possible. Of course, the classrooms they used had charms on them to decieve the human eye, but for the rest of the muggle world, it looked like a regular high school with kids carrying sticks a lot. Nothing strange with that, right? "Of course I play! I was my teams captain at my school. We went all over the upper reigon and played up until nationals. We lost to some kids down in Florida, but we still got bragging rights in North Dakota. How does Hogwarts hold their tournaments?" Maybe it wasn't the same in England as it was in the United States. He assumed it was pretty similar, but maybe they weren't competitive. He didn't know.

Sparrow grinned. So they had something in common. She found it nice to have something in common to talk about and she said, "Cool! What position did you play? At Hogwarts there is a quidditch cup and the house that wins the most games will win the cup. The winning of games will award points to your house as well and go towards winning the house cup." She wondered if she should have mentioned that she was the quidditch captain, but she didn't want to brag about her achievements.

Caiden Alexander Fourth year Gryffindor Ahh, so it was a school challenge, not a schools challenge. He liked that idea too, because it brought the students to a more competitive level within the school. "First year I was a chaser. Then, I was switched to seeker my second year, and last year I was switched to Keeper, when I was captain. We went to nationals last year. Do you play?" He was really getting into the whole quidditch scene right now. He was rather excited to get on a broom again.

Liviana walked into the classroom rather late. She took her usual seat, and read the lesson on the board. This was all about letter writing and sending, something she knew a lot about. Pulling parchment and a fresh quill from her bag, Liviana began to compose a letter. Quote: Dear Alden, It has been a month since I last saw you, and yet it feels like a century. I am so looking forward to the Easter break in a few weeks. Then I can see your smiling face once again. I cannot last an hour without thinking of you at least once, When I do, I begin to smile. I hope work is going alright for you. You seem to be content with your job. Floo powder really is your thing! I hope I can get a job that I like as much as you do yours. That's the best thing to do. Love with all my heart, Liv Quietly, she said, "Foldare," and the letter gracefully folded itself into a swan. "Decorae, Posta" Liviana whispered, and the letter sprouted feathers and flew out of the window, seemingly to its destination.

Sparrow nodded and said, "Yea I'm actually the captain of the Gryffinclaw team right now. I've played since I was a little girl, but played seeker all three years in school." She wondered how well he flew. She hoped she could see that sometime.

She must have had some serious speed on her then. She was a mere third year, and she was already houses seeker and captain. It would be a wonder to fly with her someday. Maybe he should ask? "I would love to see you fly someday. Maybe after this, we could go out on the quidditch pitch and have a bit of a race?" He wondered how rusty he was. It wasn't quidditch season when he left the school, so it had been a few months since he had been on his broom.

Sparrow grinned excitedly. She wondered if she would be able to out fly him. She said, "That would be great. Did you bring a broom to school with you?" She wouldn't want to race him when he was on one of those slow school brooms. That would be unfair.

Caiden Alexander Fourth year Gryffindor He nodded, thinking of getting on his firebolt again. It would be a fun experience to race with her. "I did, I did. Shall I meet you out on the pitch? If I can find my way there...?" He was rather pumped for this.

Sparrow couldn't keep a grin off her face and said, "Great! It isn't that hard to find. Just outside the entrance you should be able to see it a little ways away." She hoped he would find it.

Amelia Frances Joan
Amelia jumped again, having gotten lost within her thoughts once more. She seemed to do that a lot in this class. She wasn't sure if that was truly bad or not. Quickly trying to reassure Gin, she said, "No, no, I'm not mad in the least." A true fact, which was affirmed with her smile. She answered honestly, "I just didn't know where you were going with the statement." she swallowed, deciding friends were more important than any crush she might have. "He's definitely a good person to like. He definitely likes you. I just don't know how much. But he definitely does like you." Probably more than me. She added silently. Then she felt bad. If she had truly liked him, she should have said so first. Since Ginny did, she had to stop liking him. Which she figured wouldn't be so bad. It wasn't like she was flirting with him, so she definitely didn't have to stop anything she was doing. So it couldn't be so bad. Maybe she would just pretend she didn't like him more than friends, instead of truly stopping liking him. It would definitely be a lot easier.
