He shrugged.
"That's usually what happens. Someone will come across a skeleton or a bloody knife. Even once in awhile someone will accidentally wake up a demon or two."

"Sounds fun," Liallia smiled. "Waking up demons that is," She shifted herself so her legs were tucked under her. "Bloody knives are fun too," She grinned and laid her head back on the seat, toying with a piece of her hair.

Malphas nodded.
"Some people get scared of those things though. I was hoping there would at least be one pansy here to laugh at."

Gripping onto the edges of the table, Malphas hoisted himself up and grabbed a few more bottles.
"I know I at least put one bottle of Styx wine somewhere here..."

Liallia attempted to pull herself up and managed to knock a bottle of bourbon off the table while she hung by one hand, attempting to find her balance. She caught it with the other hand and stood up, leaning heavily on the table as she ran a hand through her hair. "Well," She said with an embarassed grin on her face. "Wait, is this it? I can't read it..." She said pulling over a bottle and looked at it while she held it out towards the light.

He leaned in to see better.
"Yes! That's it! You found it!"
He looked at the bottle in awe.
"Now THAT is the hard stuff."

Liallia laughed and attempted to pour them both some with shaking hands. A quarter of it sloshed onto the table before she stopped. "I think you should pour," She said nudging Malphus slightly with her shoulder as she struggled to regain her balance.

Carefully taking up the bottle, the servant poured the potent drink into the glasses. A bit more spilled onto the table, and he grimaced. After he had got a fair amount of it into the cups, he reverently placed the bottle back on the table's surface, sighing in relief when it didn't topple over.

Malphas raised his own glass as well, returning the gesture before shakily putting it to his lips.

Lialia slipped back down to the floor before drinking, the fluid passing smoothly past her lips. "I'm done," She said fearing what would happen if she drank any more.

Malphas downed the contents of his glass quickly, shaking his head as tears came to his eyes.
"Wow! That is strong..."
His voice was hoarse from the burning aftertaste as he sat back down.

"You know, some people put this in glasses and light it on fire. It makes this really cool looking black-flame on the surface."
