Reeshie Hack Marushii Reeshie Hack Why couldn't he just stay normal for five minutes? JUST FIVE MINUTES?
Because as soon as Rain limped back over to the rest of them, he popped back into owl form. He let out a frustrated screech which almost sounded like someone strangling a cat, bending over a bit so that he could fling his wings about in an enraged flail.
He settled back into fluffy and bothered, looking up at the undead ghoul. Her offer was just so nice, he really couldn't argue with it. His shoulders slumped and he dipped his head in a small nod, acknowledging that it was the only option. He would just try to keep it together.
He spread his wings and propelled himself into the air, taking his lights with him, landing on a branch so that he could catch sight of Merope. If he was going to be stuck more often as a bird than as a boil, the least he could do is play lookout.  "Hey there! Whatcha lookin at?" Beneath Julian's talons, the tree peered up at him with a grin. HP: 3
Others might think this place was suppose to make you happy and all, but all this Christmastown was doing was giving him one big headache. He was absolutely ready to just GO HOME.
Julian's HP :: 25-3 = 22 (I think this one is right?)
Attack Damage :: 1(( Yes! That is correct. : D )) "Oof! Hey! Where're you goin'? I just asked a question!" The tree looked up and pined after the demon. HP: 2

Marushii Meeki Marushii Meeki Hedera brought up a valid point. They would not be able to take Merope by force. They'd have to figure out another way to get him back. They needed to work together again. What if... no.. she couldn't. She'd be taking a pretty big risk but sacrifices had to be made, right? "Merope," she called out at the top of her lungs, "If you can hear me, I need your assistance. I seem to have broken a leg and I can't walk anymore!" She walked over to the nearest tree and checked the strength of it. It had to be small but sturdy. After a good lookover, she decided it would do the trick just fine. Walking a few feet back, she crouched down to the ground. Without her natural ability, she couldn't pounce very far, but she could still get a good jump in. Without giving it another thought, for to do so would surely lead to her backing out, she launched herself towards the tree. As she neared, she stuck a lone leg out and let it take the full impact of the hit, her body nearly wrapping around it before plopping to the ground. She rolled over to look at her handy work. The leg was bent in at a gross angle and certainly hurt but not broken. Dammit! Without her natural abilities, she lacked the force required to actually break her leg. Nothing seemed to be going her way. Using the tree to pull herself up, she limped back to the group and tried to pretend nothing happened. "Julian, we could cover your eyes, or carry you if you're in your bird form. I'm sure one of us could carry you on our back even if not. We wouldn't leave you alone. We won't let you get hurt." She knew it wasn't much but her offer was genuine. "I need to ask a favor of you guys and it's not going to be easy. I need one of you to break my leg. Preferably this one," she tapped her right leg, the one that was already injured. "Breeeeak? Why would you want to break anything? That's no fun!" The tree Rain had tried to break her leg on stirred to life, looking a bit concerned. HP: 3"Hey, you already had your chance! Who said you get another?" She was furious at the tree and at herself for leading it back to the group. Rain attempted to swipe at the tree with a claw but missed entirely. Rain's Hitpoints: 25 (-0) Evil Tree: 3 (-0) ((Hope I have this right?)) (( Yep! You got it. biggrin )) "Aww, I just wanna help! Maybe a hug will fix you right back up?" The tree pouted, trying to shuffle towards Rain, limbs outstretched. HP: 3One second she was clawing at the tree and the next second she seemed to be in the tree, or rather the branches were wrapping around her. She flailed with her claws and tried to snap at the tree to the best of her ability. Rain's HP: 25-5 = 20Tree HP: 3-0 = 3

But he'd made his bed, so he was going to sleep in it.

Sitting out of the argument, Mei decided to take the time to rest up a bit, and conserve her energy. What was left of it. This was pretty sad, everyone was at each others throats--well.. Rain and Merope were anyways. Thinking over it for a moment, Mei pushed herself from the ground and began to follow Merope's tracks. Rain was right, it was stupid to split up, especially if your on your own. With this, she decided to at least go with him to heal if necessary, and if he didn't like it--then tough. She may not be much help, but a little help was better then no help. The group should be okay, and she hoped they didn't think she disagreed with their choice. "Oi! Merope! Wait up!"

A shiny box jumped up from the tree, shaken free by the crash. It landed on its side, Julian's prize for the taking. HP: 0LOOT:

Julian flapped back from the tree, swung around and dove at the present like it was a tasty rodent, claws out. He landed on it just as he turned back into his human form, snatching the present in his hands and rolling a few paces, ending up on his back in the snow.
"I h-hate this p-place," he mumbled, his hair in his face, clawed hands clinging to his reward for dear life.

A thought lurked at the back of his head. It was a dark thought that Merope didn't want to pay any attention to. So what if he was acting no better than the usual demon? He snapped his jaws in irritation.
It was then that the dark thought surfaced, making the undead sea serpent come to a complete stand-still. "I..." he began, shocked. "I can't believe..." The realization settled on him like an uncomfortable shirt. "I have no idea where south is."
The boy sat down and stared. Tree... tree... tree... Yep. Everything looked the same to him. He turned when he heard Rain hollering, perking up as Julian screeched. It wasn't until there was a thunderous CRASH from a defeated tree that the leviathan began to reconsider his choice.
He turned as he head Mei call for him, looking surprised. "Hey," he greeted, "How did you find me?" The leviathan looked puzzled before noticing the leviathan-sized trail of destruction he left behind him: smoothed snow, crushed bushes, and massive dragon-sized prints. "Oh. Nevermind, don't answer that."

Catching sight of the Boil, she was half tempted to put in a sarcastic remark on her discovering his whereabouts. Instead, she decided to keep quite for once, or at least on that subject. "Hey. Thought you might need some help if you deciding to go off on your own. I may not be the strongest person around, but at least I can heal a little if needed."

Rain half slid, half fell to the ground. She gave her leg a good once over and groaned loudly. It had two rather gross looking dents in it. Breaking her leg was now out of the question. It was already in bad enough shape and she would definitely be limping the rest of this trip for sure now. What was that tree made out of? Stone!?!?!?!
She grabbed the box and placed it to her ear, giving it a good shake. "First they try to kill us, then they bribe us? This place is chaos. I'm going back to my tent. I need to try to see if I can't patch up my leg somehow." She rolled over and began to push herself towards her tent. She didn't want to put weight on that leg right now. Not until she could really look at it, and she wasn't about to let them see her in her panties a second time.
Unfortunately, with every push, the tent felt further and further away. The fight toppled with the stress of their situation and the train crash was too much for her. Clutching her box to her chest, she did something she never thought possible.
She passed out.

One foot stuck in a strange snow hole, Belladonna had watched the whole of the fight with a mixture of terror and wonder. The attacking trees had just been normal trees at first! When did they turn into crazy non-trees that wanted hugs of DANGER?! Just as both Julian and Rain finished their fights the witch managed to pull her foot free, vowing to hate snow forever if it continued to make her walking so difficult.
And then Rain fell.
"RAIN!" Belladonna shrieked, dashing forward to catch the girl and coming up short. "Oh Hecate! Quick, who has a Bell?" The wreath the witch had placed on her head for safe keeping was rendered useless in this moment and she cursed herself silently. "Um! Oh Hecate, oh Hecate, someone help me move her to her tent... She'll be safe there!" With a heave-ho the witch grabbed the undead under her arms and heaved, but didn't get very far. She definitely needed some help...
