The clone looked up, then shrugged. Apparently, he'd been sleeping. Was it even possible for clones to sleep? "Most likely in the Training Grounds with the rest of them. Reporting in with me's fine, though. Whatcha got for me?"

The clone cracked his neck. "More work for the original, eh? He's goofing off with gennin at the moment. When he's done, he'll most likely move on to help heal the one in the hospital. I'm just a clone... never tell me nothin'." He fake pouted, then grinned. "Might not recognize me. Dyed my hair and got somewhat of a tan. I remember you from when you were just starting out. David, right? Aeden." He was fixing to add his family name, but soon, it probably wouldn't matter. He had huge plans for a certain someone, and he threw away all ties to the Nagamos many years ago; he wouldn't have the name of corrupted politicians. "Now, if I'ma gonna be able to treat Unnamed Patient One Thirty-Four properly, I need to know exactly what Jade sent you to do and where exactly you went. He could have dropped due to environmental hazards or external sources, but without knowing what he was witness to, I can't make a proper diagnosis."

The clone's eyes shot wide open at the name. A moment later, they settled. "Genzai, huh? Haven't seen him in a while, not since..." The clone crossed his arms, then slowly, shallowly nodded. "He'll be tended to after the Gennin are done with their pre-exam training. For now..." The clone reached into the Kazekage's desk and pulled out a bag of coins, then tossed it to David. "Take the day off. Go grab a bite to each, go bathe in the springs, whatever you wanna do. On the kage. One coin should do the trick for any one expense."

The day off isn't a request, it's an order. Won't bore you with the details, but just trust the doc. If you don't give your body a rest, it'll crash, or worse, you'll go all Possum on us." The clone hoped David got the hint. Jade shared everything with Aeden, that much was a fact. He knew David was a Host, like Kaze was back in Iwa. He'd seen the destruction a rogue demon could cause first hand, when Mr. Giant Bug Demon decided to take a stroll into Iwa and throw a fit. He wouldn't let that happen to Suna as well, and the last thing he wanted to do was half-put down a Suna shinobi.

At the question, an eyebrow raised. "Maybe..." It crouched. "Hey, yea... there is... why? Want me to hit it?"

Aeden grew a curious look, and hit the switch.

Deciding that for the moment the best option was to take care of his current lack of light, David reached into his satchel, recalling that there was a low level technique designed for such things. Pulling out the sealing scroll from the library, he rolled it open to the slot he'd put the universal jutsu scroll in, and activated the seal, releasing it. Rolling up the sealing scroll, he shoved it back into the satchel, and turned instead to the jutsu scroll.

Unrolling the scroll, David positioned himself under the trap hole in such a way that he could use the tiny bit of light that filtered down through (Currently more than normal due to the door being open.) to read better. As he skimmed past the few E ranked techniques in the scroll, the boy noted that some of them would likely be useful, and made a note to learn them, and teach Karo later.

Finally he found it. Chakra Hikari no Jutsu, a technique designed to light up dark places. The technique sounded simple enough, make a ball of chakra that creates light. Holding up his right hand, David began filtering chakra into it, forming the required ball within a few seconds. Staring at the ball though, he realized he hadn't a clue how to make it generate light. That was one problem he found with the low ranking technique scrolls. They generally didn't tell enough about the techniques, likely assuming you had a master who could show you the secrets.

Not to be deterred though, David focused harder on the technique, forcing more chakra into the weak little ball in his hand. Slowly, the density built, until it grew enough to be faintly visible. At that point, David began to focus on it more like a genjutsu, purely willing it to turn into light. And surprisingly enough, after a few seconds, it did. The ball lit up like a lantern, lighting up the small cave completely.

Looking around for a moment, David noted once more how small the hole was, and wondered just what the intention was. It was obviously meant as a trap, but the fall being so high was likely going to be fatal to most anyone, and the hole had no visible exit unless you could travel through the sand. That did make it a good trap though, as David himself was likely the only person in the village who could both survive the fall, and get back out. Which made this cave perfect for his intentions.

Experimentally, David tossed the ball of light into the air, and grinned as it suspended itself in midair. he wasn't sure how long it would last like that, but it would do for now. Rolling up the jutsu scroll, he stuffed it back into his satchel and stood up, cracking his knuckles as he prepared for what was to come.

Aeden sighed. "What, no "I'm back.", or "How's your day?", or... yea... I'm already Slave and Pack Mule anyway, why not add Errand Boy to the list as well? The kid's down below. You never told me there was a secret room down there." His grin betrayed his fake anger. In all honestly, nothing Jade could do or say could really anger him... maybe besides pissing on Mion's grave. He nodded obediantly, then flickered. A few minutes later, he reappeared with a jar filled with goo and the eyes. "So, who am I giving these to?"
