♫Heidi smiled at Alec and shook her head. "It's fine. You're actually right, plus I like the sound of your voice." she said with a giggle. "So we can go beyond the sky. To the moon and maybe even farther. You know, I actually wonder what it's like out there. Being surrounded by stars and all the other amazing things out there. Though I don't think I'd be able to handle the silence." she said with a light chuckle before she gently tapped the top of his head meaning she wanted to get down. She remembered what he was saying about how everyone has their own limit and she tilted her head. "Do you have a limit? Or are you like me and aren't sure?" she asked as her light blue eyes sparkled with curiousity.

♫Heidi laughed at Alec being so old fashioned but she smiled and nodded as she took his arm. She held his hand and she kissed his cheek. "You're my knight in shining armor and you can do anything. Whatever it is you want to do, I'll be by your side to help you anyway I can. We don't need limits. This world is ours." she said softly as she walked with him back to the camp. This place didn't seem so bad anymore and for once she didn't feel the need to drink. Her throat wasn't dry like it usually was when she didn't drink for a period of time and the smile on her face was real. Not some fake act like always. All she could feel was everything she never knew she was missing out on. She had only been in love once in her life and it scarred her, making her who she was. But now everything felt different and she no longer felt like she was standing in the background with everyone else. She felt real and she didn't want this feeling to ever go away.

X X X X X X X X XxTrust your heart, let fate d e c i d e The brunette laughed, then zoomed her fourwheeler forward, the wind catching her hair and whipping it up around her in a like a waterfall. The sun glinted in her eyes, she squinted momentarily, then the trees closed it off. She slowed enough to take the lead, but she lingered back some so she could ride side by side with Todd. She liked seeing him happy, and finally awake and letting the world take him in. It just might be a good summer after all. "Well, sure. There's plenty of shower time and everything after this. But, since Shane's getting the others, I think I probably want to show you my favorite place out of all this camp. It's dazzling, really," Casey said, and just as she finished, her fourwheeler rolled up on sand, with plants growing here and there. Shooting a joking glare at Todd, she tried her best to look indignant. "It's my allergies! I can't help it!" Casey protested, her blue eyes getting bigger and rounder. Snickering to herself, she smiled and tipped her head back. "But I guess it is pitiful. Not the sort of thing you'd expect from me, huh?" Casey asked, humor lighting up her already light face. The traces of stress from earlier was gone. Left was a young, mature woman, having fun with one of her friends. It left her with a twinge of homesickness, but Casey quickly pushed it away. Her eyes then flicked to the lake, in all its splendor. Casey sighed, leaning forward on her handlebars and resting her chin on her hands. The lake dazzled beautifully, the sun shining on it's still surface, lilypads and waterflowers dotting it's surface. Silver fish flicked hither and thither. The forest and greenery around it framed it like a pristine resort, and in front of Casey and Todd sat a beach with soft white sand, a number of tables and beach chairs, and a lifeguard chair. Off to the left was a well made and smooth wooden dock, ideal for jumping off of. Farther to the left was a medium sized wooden shed, which held kayaks, canoes, and different water toys. Casey just sat there, watching, before she began to talk. "My dad used to take me to a lake by my home all the time when I was younger. He taught me how to swim, canoe, kayak, water ski, jet ski, every water sport in the world. He'd toss me into the water and then come splashing in after me, and we'd just play around. It was when my mother was still alive. She'd sit on the beach with homemade lemonade and sandwiches, ready for me and my dad when we were done. It's one of my most fondest memories," Casey explained with a sigh, a sigh of lost loved ones and bittersweet fond memories. Casey sat back up, leaning back to let the sun warm her face. He blinked a few times when casey replied, and snapped out of the state of daze. He glanced at her to his side and nodded. "This place is pretty," he murmured softly, knowing she wouldn't be able to hear. He added something else, so quiet he himself couldn't hear it, and sighed. He glanced at her again and smiled. "I expected a big, badass sneeze, ya know," he said with a smile, his dark eyes casting out to the lake. It seemed to sparkle under the copper light of the sun, making shivers run through Todd's pale skin. He also leaned foreward on his own handlebars, doing the same Casey was, but he lifted his legs and lounged out on the whole of the quad. He listened quietly to the soft shuddering of the sand under the occasional wave, closing his dark eyes for a moment. "When I was seven, before my dad started raping and beating me, we went to San Fran and the beach. It was so gorgeous... It was cold, though," he added with a soft chuckle, "and cloudy. And the waves were coming down hard- but I got a sand dollar. It was about as big as the palm of my hand- perfect. Not chipped or broken at all." The dark-haired teen smiled at the thought. His smile disappeared as she spoke and he spun her into his arms, pressing his lips to the top of her head. "And you, Heidi Harisson, are my sexy damsel in distress," he said with a deep, sexy laugh. The great thing about Heidi was that she wasn't lying. She would tell Alec the truth no matter what- so he thought. He had stopped not far from the cabins, his blue eyes closed as he buried his face in Heidi's blonde hair. The Mexican stayed that way for a moment, then released her but held fast to her hand. ♫The blonde shivered in delight at the sound of his sexy laugh and she smiled as she held him tightly, laughing along with him. She sighed when he let go but she soon smiled again with amusement in her sky blue eyes when he apologized. "You don't have to apologize for being sweet." she teased as she rolled her eyes. She loved how he was always such a gentleman to her and apologized for the little things he did even if she didn't mind at all. Though her thoughts were distracted at the mention of food as she heard her stomach growl and she blushed a bright red. "Yeah, I could definitely use some food right now." she said as she laughed and shook her head. That was one of the few things she actually loved about herself. She didn't really get very embarassed easily and if she did, she would just laugh it off. She tried not to let the little things get her down.

She glanced sidelong at Todd through long lashes, listening and watching his face as he told the story. It sounded like a truly beautiful memory. "It sounds great. Like one of those childhood memories you never want to forget- or ever will," Casey said, wisdom filling her soft voice. At his comment on her sneeze, she snapped her head around and let full power penetrate her stare as she glared at Todd. Playing around, of course. She reached over and shoved him, not enough to make him fall, but enough to jolt his attention. "Don't mess with me! And don't make fun of my sneezes! And that's that!" Casey ended her little rant with a laugh. She let her ice blue eyes wander, finding them settle on a pale pink stone. A pale coral stone, mind you. Reaching down, she plucked it from it's bed of bland gray stones and examined it. It was smooth, and it was a pale orange with a pink tinge. Peering at it once more, she admired it's beauty. Glancing over at Todd, an evil grin spread across her face. Laughing maniacally, Casey took aim and skipped the stone eight or nine times over the still lake, shattering it's calm surface into a series of ripples. Little things like that always made Casey laugh- she could find amusement in anything. Straightening, Casey planted her feet back onto the footrests of the quad. Resting her hand on the ignition, Casey poked Todd. "Come on, mister. Let's head back to camp before everyone steals the food," Casey teased, her blue eyes sparkling. Turning the key, the quad's engine sputtered to life. She released the clutch and revved the engine, then took off. A spray of mud and leaves and grass spouted from Casey's tires. Glancing over her shoulder at Todd, she hoped it wouldn't hit him. If it did, it would still be funny! Casey sped through the trees, steering expertly down the trail. Every now and then she'd make sure Todd was behind her. Soon enough, they sped into camp. Knocking the quad down a notch, she slowed it through camp. Cruising through the scant trees and shrubbery, Casey made her way back to the shed. She rolled the quad in, hopping off to open the door. Pushing it open, she then grabbed the handlebars and pushed the fourwheeler into the shed, parking it back where it had started. Except now the tires were covered in mud and leaves. Oh well! Pulling the keys from the ignition, she pulled off her arm keyband, then slipped the quad key onto it. Casey had many keys on her ring: her truck keys, her house keys, the keys to the cabins, the mess hall, and every room, along with te numerous sheds around the camp: the snack bar, the toolshed, the canoe shed, the archery shed, pretty much everything. And to add to that, four quad keys. Well, two more once Todd and Shane returned theirs. Striding to the door of the shed, she leaned against it and let her eyes wander, since Todd hadn't come in yet. The scenery was beautiful, and the quaint little camp fit in well. Trees, lush grass and bushes, flowers and wild plants dotting the landscape. And the American flag flying proudly overhead. Past time to head back. Turning, he admired the scenery around him- green trees, lush grass, and colorful flowers. He sighed, admiring the beauty. He was ripped form his thoughts by the loud motor of a fourwheeler; someone was heading toward them. Casey had called him earlier; letting him know Shane would be on his way. That was probably him. Striding brisquely over toward the girls, he shot them a grin. "C'mon, girls. Time to head back to camp. Gail, take off those heels," Jake said, his chocolate eyes focusing on the lucidly high heels. Crazy! Spiing around at the sound of Shane's voice, and nodded. He strode over to the other boy, running his hand on the handlebars of the quad. "Sweet ride. Yeah, I'll grab the girls and we'll head back. Gail or Nikki will ride with you, because this baby can only hold two. The other one will walk," Jake explained, then smiled at Shane. Patting the quad once more, Jake turned back and jogged over back to the girls. "Alright, one of you can ride on the quad. The other needs to walk. Sorry, but there's not enough room for both of you," Jake said, glancing at the ground. He shot the girls a grin, the signaled for them to follow. He pulled his phone out real quick, checking for any missed calls or texts from Casey, since she was his boss. And it was getting late. The ground was cast in an amber glow, the sky ablaze with oranges and golds. The last of pink was slipping down the horizon. It was gorgeous- Jake had always liked sunsets. Stopping a moment to admire the breathtaking sky, Jake watched. A few moments later, he snapped himself from his trance and headed back to Shane. Glancing over his shoulder, he tried to see if the girls were coming.

Anyone who makes no mistakes......Is not trying HARD ENOUGH Shane nodded slowly, listening as Jake said what would probably happen. "Casey said to call, or text her if another ride was needed" the young counselor told Jake. at least, I'm pretty sure she said that. That's what I heard anyways Shane thought, nodding at the comment about the ride. "Yeah, it's awesome. Drives nice too" he said. Shane waited calmly as Jake went back to get the girls. He took the solitude to look around at his scenery. Honestly speaking, beautiful. It reminded him of back home and of a couple of places he had visited in his attempt to try and locate his dad. But finding that man, was like looking for a, one inch needle in a massive hay stack. Almost impossible. Shane smiled at the thought of his dad. He looked up. Dad, you recommended me to this place because you thought I could help these teens. But you have no Idea about my past. He thought. I wonder, If dad knew about my alcoholic past... If he still would've recomended me... The young counselor wondered, lost in thought. Shane shook his head and snapped back to reality as Jake came back. Catching the man's look to the sky he said. xxx☪ Nikki glanced around at the beautiful scenery and let out a sigh. it was really beautiful out here, if it wasn't getting dark then Nikki would want to just sit out here and draw, or write. She ran a hand through her hand and closed her eyes for a few seconds. Her brown eyes opened at the sound of Jake's voice and she turned toward him. She nodded to him and motioned for Gail to pick up the pace. "Come on, Gail, we have to get back," she said and began to walk faster. Her eyes darted toward Shane's ride and she raised her eyebrow. She noted to herself that only one of them would be able to ride back and she doubted that Gail would want to walk back. Besides, Nikki doubted that she would be able to make it back with those heels. "Gail can ride back with Shane, I'll walk," she said calmly and motioned for Gail to go with Shane. Nicole actually preferred walking then riding back, it was good exercise. She glanced at Jake and smiled softly at him before gazing up at the sunset. It was a beautiful sight, the way it stretched across the sky. Nikki let out a sigh and pushed a piece of hair out of her face.
