"Sounds like someone has a grudge," Klyde grinned when he looked back at Shun. It wasn't that Klyde was worried, he was rather curious. Riyo had just taken the guy back to camp for being wounded so why was he off running like a mad man? With a shrug Klyde started toward his tent, "It's of no importance to me. I was just curious about his running around since he was wounded pretty badly early today." If he didn't see Blade in a while perhaps he would investigate then. It would be a shame if the kid dropped and all that blood went to waste. Such a shame indeed.
------
"A good theory that would be the place to start but I think I need something that will narrow down the selection of who I give it to. The mess hall is very unpredictable on who will get what unless I dose everyone. Which is a waste of time and effort really." Also a way to say he didn't have enough doses of medicine to do that. "I think we need something a little more creative." He gave the idea some thought.
------
The kiss had been rather unexpected and Mitsu's eyes flew wide as his lips touched her's. Heart continuing to pound in her chest, like a bird fluttering in a cage, the blood seemed to flow from her wound all the more quickly. After a second of adjusting to the shock of the situation, Mitsu slowly closed her eyes as she had been instructed to do before. She could taste the blood in her mouth as she pressed her lips back to his, an odd sensation welling up at the realization she had actually bitten herself. It was of little concern though, she had done it for him.

"Creative, huh?" Lou asked as he took a drag, slowly letting it out after 5 seconds. The vampire stayed silent for a few moments, then sat up and adjusted himself as he apparently had an idea. "Alright. We could go around giving those lame-a** surveys and offer up a cookie as compensation for their time..."
He had another idea, but it was a little more farfetched. "Too bad we don't have one of those blood donor trucks. We could get samples and pass out the poison... Oh, and a nice snack for yours truly." Suto didn't need ALL that blood, right? Just a little.
----
Desmond didn't hold the kiss for long. Soon after he broke away from her lips, his went to the wound she'd so graciously inflicted upon herself. God bless dark secluded places, and even crevices he couldn't fit through... Because this wouldn't have happened if his good shirt hadn't ripped.
As he 'cleaned' her wound, Desmond had a thought. If Mitsu's fanclub happened to notice the bite on her hand... He was going to get blamed for it, without a doubt. Even if she claimed it was her own act. He supposed that thought didn't really bother him. Why did he care about the opinions of some schmucks he'd just met? Unless they happened to tell the teachers.
Sighing at that thought, he pulled back. He wasn't completely full, but that was a good thing. For Mitsu, at least. He gently sat her hand down in her lap and used his thumbs to clean the blood off her face. "Thank you." His voice was soft and his tone was sincere. "We should clean your hand off and get it covered up."

"Good for him," muttered Shun. How nice of the thief to be beaten up already. If he dug himself a grave by running off into the forest while injured, that was fine with him. It would mean he didn't have to deal with the guy any more, as well as the fact that he'd have the room completely to himself once they got back to school.
"Hm.." blinked Bent-Tail as he looked in the general direction Blade had been fleeing. It was a bit strange, but he didn't really know the guy. Maybe that was his sort of thing..
The two went on to grab something to eat from the mess hall once they arrived at the campsite.
When nothing came on through the door, Blade let out a breath and slowly relaxed. He soon realized that he didn't have a gaping wound in his belly where he had been 'stabbed' too. Groaning, he clutched his head as he was trying to figure out what was going on. Was all of that really just an illusion to him? But why did he experience it in the first place?
The church still made him feel rather oddly uneasy, which made him wonder if he was going to be seeing things still. Right now, he wasn't sure how he'd be able to handle that. His body was weak and shaky and he was still pretty jumpy thanks to what happened.
"what the hell is wrong with me...?" he asked more to himself than anything considering there wasn't anyone else around as far as he was aware.

When Klyde found out his "camping" arrangements he had to laugh. They intended for him to sleep with a lot of different people. Thank god he had already made up his mind to camp outside with Riyo. It would be far more enjoyable than being cramped in a sausage fest tent.
Gathering up his things that he had left behind earlier he at least placed them with their tent for the time being. Make everyone sweat a little bit about sharing a tent with two blood suckers.
"Klyde," His eyes widened a little when he heard the voice. A voice as warm as honey but laced with arsenic.
"Isn't it a little risky to be talking to me, Tessa? Especially at my tent where the others could see," He continued looking over his shoulder at her.
"Oh, get over it there is no one here. If there were I would be sure to let them know I was putting a loser in his place."
"Harsh." Klyde shook his head as he put his things down.
"Yeah, yeah, so how is everything going? Nami and I are anxious to know." Tessa grinned as she awaited Klyde's response. "Halloween is only a couple of weeks away. We want to be sure that everything is on track."
It was then that Klyde faltered. The reality of what he had been doing sprang back hard to hit him in the face. "I'm uh....yeah. Yeah, everything is....good."
Tessa raised a brow looking at Klyde, "What is that uncertainty in your tone?" Her eyes suddenly narrowed as she looked at the vampire, very aware she wasn't going to like where this was going.
"I'm just, I'm not sure....about this." Klyde looked up at Tessa rather awkwardly, her and Nami really knew how to castrate a man and leave him with nothing. He had that sudden urge to cover his lower region or risk losing it.
Eyes flaring with anger, Tessa took a step closer. "What?" She hissed. "You're unsure....about this? This is exactly what you do, Klyde. You use that pretty face of yours to lure in the prey while we crush them unknowingly." She set a hand on his cheek and Klyde had to fight the urge to move away. "It's what you've done before and no doubt what you will do again. So don't spout such silly non-sense. Nami would be very displeased." Really, what was he thinking? He certainly didn't have his priorities straight like her dear Desmond.
For a long moment there was silence so Tessa could only assume Klyde was still hesitant. But why she wondered? Looking into his eyes as if trying to read his thoughts she drew up the most likely conclusion. "You poor little creature. Has she lured you in instead?"
"W...what? No. It's not like that," Great, that would only add fuel to the fire. How stupid could he be?
Tessa smiled patting Klyde on the cheek before she moved away. "You will continue as planned. Your job will be done soon enough." She started to leave but looked back with a smile. "If you still need motivation, I'm sure your precious Claire can offer it up for you."
Klyde's eyes flew wide when Tessa mentioned his sister's name. He had been certain no one in the hive knew he had a sister. With a hesitant nod he took off as well, cursing Tessa for her under handed threat.
----
Once the kiss was broken Mitsu sat quietly as Desmond attended to her hand. It didn't take her long to get light headed but thankfully Desmond seemed to be done. She wondered if it were really possible for them to drain a person. It seemed like it would be an awful lot to consume.
"You're welcome." She said softly as she pressed her other hand to the wound. To his last statement she nodded though she didn't move right away. "Okay, the stream here should be fine right?" She asked as she started to move off his lap back toward the water.
----
"A survey?" Suto seemed skeptical. What would they even make a survey about? "We may need to think more inside of class time. We still need to gather the children together to have team building activities and the like. There could always be a little mix up with the water there. I may require your assistance since not all the children will be in my class during the day."

When night time fell, Desmond quietly led Mitsu back out of the cave with a satisfied sigh. He'd used some of his ripped coat to wrap her wound up. A small loss compared to the gain of a satisfied appetite. "Ready to go see that bonfire?" He asked with a soft smile.
At about the same time, Riyo was walking back to camp. She'd given up on finding that damn mountain lion and was able to catch an older rabbit to hold her over 'till morning. At least it had been something.
Scanning the area, she looked around for somebody she knew. Preferably Mitsu or Klyde. Instead... She found Nami.
"Well, if it isn't the blonde b***h." Nami smiled confidently as she stood in front of her doppelganger. "You're looking rather pathetic with all those scratches on your neck. Looking to get some kind of pity from the vampire humping your leg?"
Riyo shrugged at Nami's obvious attempt at egging her on. "Nami, I think you need a giant cork for that gaping hole between your legs. The whistling of the wind hitting inside the canyon is starting to sound like words."
Subconsciously, Nami's legs moved closer together at those words, her anger from the girl's mental advantage wearing on her. "You know, we haven't given you much attention since this trip started." With a snap of her fingers, a group of young... Sadistic looking men appeared at her side from behind the trees.
"Oh look. You brought your toys with you on the trip. I don't think they'll fit discreetly under your bed, though." Riyo slowly began backing up... Until she hit a tree. Hm. Well.
"Get her." Nami gave the order, pointing directly to Riyo and watching her little 'toys' comply.
"Up I go then." Riyo said with a smirk and started climbing the tree, barely missing one of the boys grabbing her leg. All of them appeared hesitant to follow her.
"What, are you saying none of you know how to climb?!" Nami shouted angrily, looking up at Riyo who was now sitting on a branch waving at her.
---
Kohaku had tried to help Blade... She'd found one of the teachers and led them back to where she'd left the boy laying there... But he had been gone. The teacher appeared angry as if he thought it was a joke and left her alone with the question of where her new acquaintance disappeared to... She'd hoped that he'd be back in camp... But so far the young girl hadn't seen him again... And it made her feel very bad...
She'd moved to the sight of where the bonfire was going to be, sitting down on one of the logs. She'd been looking forward to this... Until all the crazy things happened earlier.

Stirring awake, Blade groaned as he rubbed his head. While he was trying to relax in the church, he ended up getting another 'attack'. Though, this time he wasn't able to handle it and ended up passing out.
Needless to say, he felt rather horrid right now. He hadn't really had a chance to eat or drink anything all day, and all the stress wasn't helping his body feel any better either. Looking around, he saw nothing around the old, dusty, abandoned church. Only now there were a few scorch marks on the old stone floor. Good thing it wasn't wood he supposed.
Something about the church bothered him too, and he could swear it made him feel odd. Shaking his head at that, he clutched his head briefly as he felt a headache pounding at him. He needed to get back to the camp, but he felt too much like s**t to really want to move anywhere. Maybe he could just stay in here for the night... There was at least some running water nearby if he recalled.
As night fell, Shun and Bent-Tail just went on their way towards the location of the bonfire. Along the way they noticed a few of the Hive kids crowding around a tree for whatever reason. A quick glance up told them Riyo was up there.
"Idiots," mumbled Shun as he brushed on past.
"De 'ive never take any breaks tis seems," blinked Bent-Tail while following his friend.

Following Desmond back out of the cave Mitsu gave a nod. "Yeah, lets go." She had ended up taking a short nap but seemed to feel much better for it. "I'm sorry about your jacket, Desmond." She fiddled with the material around her hand that hid the wound. It had been a nice jacket, she could only imagine it was expensive.
---
Klyde had been pacing the majority of the day waiting for Riyo to return. It was becoming difficult to ignore Tessa's words. His little sister was very dear to him and he could only imagine what Tessa had in mind. She would no doubt grow up like Riyo had...being bullied and tortured day in and day out. The thought of that hurt, especially since there would be little he could do to prevent it.
As night fell and there was still no sign of the blonde, Klyde decided to search. His searching brought him to the bonfire where he spotted Shun and Bent-tail. The words of a question started to form on his lips but the sight of a bunch of hive kids around a tree caught his attention first.
Fearing for the worst, Klyde rushed over, his violet eyes already glowing brightly with anger. "Riyo?" He called out wondering if she were up in the tree since that seemed to be where everyone was focused. Once he got closer he spotted Nami his expression conflicted. He wondered if Tessa had told her anything.

Desmond smiled and shook his head at the mention of his jacket. "I have more." Is all he could say to that. Pausing in moving forward, he offered his hand to her. "Would you like to hold my hand? Don't want you to fall or anything." Referring to how dark it had gotten.
As Klyde appeared, Nami looked at him and folded her arms. The displeasure she displayed appeared quite real. "Well, hello there blood sucker. Come to save your newest blood bank from the wolves?" She leaned in closer, eyes narrowing and a smirk appearing. "What is she to you, Klyde?"
Riyo's tail twitched as Klyde showed up calling her name. She had to admit she was surprised that he'd found her so fast.
"Here kitty kitty kitty. We just wanna pet you." One of the boys heckled.
"I don't have a yarn ball, but I've got some other balls you could play with." Called another.
Though, the other boys seemed to take notice of Klyde and his... Less than happy appearance. They decided to keep silent until they saw what he was gonna do.
Riyo sighed at the cat calls, wondering when they'd get bored and leave. It didn't look like they planned on following her up here, so it was just a waiting game now.. But what did Klyde think he'd accomplish by talking to Nami?

Not really paying much attention to the antics of the bullies, the two went on and took a seat on the grass some distance away.
"Mitsu 'n Desmond should be back soon right?" asked the rat. With the sun down, the vampire should be able to move about freely without any worry of getting burned. Though.. considering what he was, Bent-Tail had to wonder how quickly Desmond would recover from sunburn in the first place.
"Most likely," was all Shun had to say in response, "Unless the crabs got them."
".. Dun say stuff like dat Shun."
While Blade waited in the church, he found himself not feeling any better as time went on. Weakly, he got up to make his way to the stream to get some water. Maybe that would help him out. It actually did, once he was out of the church and taking a few handfuls of water from the nearby stream. His head was clearing up, and some of his strength had returned.
Still, he wasn't feeling up for making his way back to the camp, so he went on back into the church. Slumping back down in the same corner as before, he let out a sigh while wondering how he could get so much crap in one day.
"This trip needs to end," he groaned.

Klyde's nose wrinkled a bit as if he might growl and bare his teeth. Why was it that now Nami seemed like such a b***h to him? The words coming out of her mouth really grated on his nerves. When she leaned in asking what Riyo was to him he only had one reply. It was only a matter of time before it would be known, might as well let the information slip on his own terms.
"She's my girlfriend and if you don't call back you little squad of miserable self loathing eunuchs, you may find yourself with a few less in your party. I know I'm hot stuff, Nami, but you really need to get over me." He smiled a bit cruelly for a moment but it did not hold.
His attention then focused on the boys standing under the tree, his eyes promising as much pain and suffering as he could give. The cat calls hadn't escaped his ears and he would be damned if he was going to let them get away with saying s**t like that again.
----
"S..sure." Taking hold of his hand, Mitsu stepped a bit closer. She could see well enough but she could also be clumsy at times. All too soon the camp was in sight and Mitsu pointed at the bonfire ahead. It was very large and hard to miss. "Looks like they already have the fire started."

Nami looked stunned at the tone he'd taken with her... And even moreso the information Klyde offered with that tone. It was as if somebody had taken all the fine china out of the cabinet in her mind, set them on the floor, and hit them with an aluminum baseball bat until they were nothing more than smithereens. In other words, she was furious. So furious she was at a loss for words.
"You'll pay for this." Were the only things that slipped out of her mouth as she stormed off in the direction of her tent.
The boys who had been paying more attention to the girl in the tree hadn't really noticed Klyde... Until their friends poked and pointed to the raging vampire...
After that, they were quick to follow their queen out and away. All of them had heard about the senior, and none of them were eager to join the boy in his physical condition.
Riyo had heard what Klyde said, and for some reason... It made her very happy. Gracefully climbing down from the branch of the tree, she walked over and took his hand. "Did you miss me?" She asked softly, giving his hand a soft squeeze. There was one of those fabled warm smiles on her lips as she looked up at him.
--- Desmond had to admit he was a little disappointed when they reached camp. "I suppose you should go find your friends." He forced a smile at the thought, hoping they wouldn't ask about the cloth wrapped around her hand... They probably would... But he could hope. "I need to go throw a shirt on, but I'll join you again after that."

With a quick glance to the side, Shun could see the outlines of Mitsu and Desmond on their way towards the bonfire. So it seemed they made it back in one piece. Stretching out, he looked on towards the flame and just waited.
Bent-Tail grinned and waved to the two as soon as he spotted them coming on in. It was good to see them back as he was mildly worried about them while they were gone.

The rest of the day had been quite uneventful for Ken, who had made sure to stay out of sight of Cajun and the rest of his cronies. He had spent his time near the campsite with a few textbooks to pass the time, Periodically venturing into it to see if blade had returned, each time growing more anxious when he saw no sign of him. He knew the the boy had been injured badly, and had been unsure of weather to go back to the forest to find him or just hope he had made it back himself. Eventually he had given up reading, and now he ventured off through the forest in order to track him down. Not without help of course.
"So...You're saying Blade is still out here, and he's gotten the s**t beat out of him" Varn squinted through the growing darkness.
"I...think so..."
"Are you sure? I can't see the guy being beaten up by a pack of morons like Cajun." Jumping over a fallen log He thought back to the times he had sparred him during class.
"Most likely...he was unconscious when I last saw him..." Ken had explained to his friend how he had been chased through the forest and was unable to offer any aid, but that did not make him feel any better for it.
"Hey, it's no biggie, if he's out here I'm sure we'll find him. Mabye he's woken up by now?" Varn sucked in a breath. "OY! BLADE! ARE YOU HERE?!?!"
Since there wasn't much to do, and all the activities seemed to be planned for tomorrow, poke had spent most of the day either playing on her DS (she had it hidden in her bag for safe keeping), sleeping, checking on Lina to make sure she hadn't been picked on, or thinking about how she would kick the ever loving s**t out of the hive. By evening she had some sort of plan which involved sneaking into their headquarters (she didn't know where they were) and just pummeling them one by one, when she checked the time and realised the bonfire was about to start. Hopping off her bed she sauntered outside and took a glimpse around, looking for her friends.

As the day went on Tessa thought about Klyde's situation and became more and more doubtful that Desmond wasn't stepping over the line of betrayal as well. It was hard to say really, she hadn't seen him all day. She knew he was trying to be buddy buddy with the white haired girl but she wanted to know how friendly. By the time evening came Tessa had already worked up in her mind the worst possibilities since she had yet to see them both. So naturally when they emerged from the forest together hand in hand and Desmond without a shirt Tessa's thoughts were only confirmed.
In a jealous rage the red head stormed back to her tent, murder in her eyes. She wanted to confront Mitsu, hit her, beat her, any number of things really, but she supposed she could settle for something else for the time being. It seemed Poke was on her way out so there was little to stop her. Pushing past the tent flap Tessa immediately went for Mitsu's things. The girl hadn't been back to rearrange anything so Tessa knew exactly where to find what she was looking for. Opening up the girl's bag she pulled out the stuffed panda she had found earlier.
It was a cute little thing, she was sure Mitsu loved it dearly, like some weird little kid, if she had brought it along. To bad it wasn't going to be intact when she got back to the tent. Finger nails almost like claws they started to dig into the seams pulling and tugging. Anger seemed to flare and it only took her a moment to behead the little bear, cotton going all over the place. Chucking the head aside she started to tear into the body, ready to rip the stuffed animal to pieces.
-----
Klyde silently watched Nami go before turning back to the other hive boys, staring them down until they had followed their master. When Riyo joined him and took his hand, giving it a little squeeze, he tried to smile though he was hard pressed to keep it.
"I did," He said without hesitation. "How did your day go? Any luck?"
-----
"Okay, I'll see you soon." As soon as Desmond had left her side Mitsu headed toward Bent-tail and Shun's position at the bonfire. Her clothes were still a little damp so she planned on changing but she would say hi first. "We're back." Mitsu smiled as she approached. "I'm going to change in a second, I fell into the stream in the cave."

While poke was gazing about the camp, she was suddenly pushed aside by Tessa who looked nothing short of murderous. Raising a eyebrow, she walked back into the tent to see what the girl was up to.
It took a moment to spot the girl who had something in her hands; a toy of sorts. What the hell? Tessa didn't have any toys....
As she watched, the toy suddenly became split in two as Tessa took out her rage on the object, and it was then that poke realized the bag in front of her belonged to somebody else.
It took a few seconds for it to sink in, what just happened. But when it did, pokes anger would of rivaled the girl in front of hers
"WHAT THE ******** DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING" She screamed at the top of her lungs, dashing forward and extending her hand in order to grab the rest of the stuffed animal off of her.
