Meiko kicked the ground and swiftly flew up, and took her wand out of her pocket. She successfully passed through the first two hoops. As she saw the third hoop surrounded by fire, she pointed her wand at it as she sped towards it.
She quickly used the flame-freezing charm and passed through the flaming hoop without any burns and such.

 Liviana scowled at the belligerent first year as she kicked off the ground. Perhaps Hogwarts needed to begin offering etiquette classes along with the others? She hurdled towards the first hoop, one engulfed in flames. Taking care not to lose her balance, she pulled out her wand and cried "Aguamenti!" The hoop was immediately extinguished, and Liviana flew through, and onwards to the next hoop.

 Antoinette Machiavelli— Slytherin; First year.
Antoinette saw a girl scowl at her but before she could retaliate the girl had already flown off. So instead she moued at the girl's furthering back.
After a little while, Antoinette mounted her broom. Tightening her grip the most she could, she kicked off, sloppily. While trying to straighten her broom, the first hoop was coming up, and it was ablaze. She fumbled to get her wand out, still trying to straighten her broom. In the knick of time, she got her wand and straightened her broom, pointed it at the ring. "Agua--" ...Her heart nearly stopped. She couldn't remember the other half of the incantation. Her mind was racing. She was about to cry, but then she thought of that girl who scowled at her, and began to feel irritated. That girl...she wouldn't mind seeing me in tears, I'm sure...she wouldn't mind at all...mind...mente. Just then she had an epiphany. She pointed her wand at the burning hoop and shouted , "Aguamenti!" A jet of water came of the the tip of her wand and the hoop was doused. Antoinette shot through the hoop with a big, triumphant smile on her face. I guess it's a good thing Italian is similar to Spanish...Hmph, those Spaniards... She was frowning and gritting her teeth as the second ring came into closer view.

Liviana sped to the second hoop. This one was impeded by a large brick wall. She again raised her wand and called, "Bombarda!" and watched as a hole big enough to fly through was blasted through the mortar. Hearing someone coming behind her, she increased her speed, and zoomed toward the third hoop.

Liviana came to the third hoop, one so small, there was no way she could fit through it. Aiming her wand, she cried, "Engorgio!" and the hoop increased into a Liviana-sized ring. Quickly, she accelerated through it, and turned back to see the Slytherin first year putting out the fire on the first ring. Liviana knew it was time to move faster if she wanted to win the fifty points, and show this upstart girl that wit was better than uncouth manners anyday. (It's been so long since we've had a feisty character! I'm excited! whee )

I sit down and watch the kids up in the air casting spells and attempting to fly through the hoops.
I'm so proud of all of you. I shout out to them.
I noticed the students were not finding it that difficult to get through the hoops so under my breath i started casting incantations and the remaining hoops.
The incantations caused some of the hoops to:
- Be engulfed with water (As in water is coming out of the hoop that if the students attempt to fly threw it they might become soaked)
- Be covered in cob webs. (So the students can crash and stick to the large webs)
- A large flock of birds waiting in front of the hoop ready to attack the person coming.

Antoinette Machiavelli— Slytherin ; First Year As Antoinette flew towards the second ring, she noticed The Scowling-Senior (A name cleverly thought of by Antoinette as the girl scowled and was Antoinette's senior.) look back at her, and apparently speed up. Antoinette didn't think this was a race, but she wasn't going to let The Scowling-Senior beat her. She also noticed Dorian, fellow Slytherin, flying through the second hoop. He seemed to be struck by something, but Antoinette saw nothing and assumed he was just losing balance. She sped forward and towards the ring, but then the hoop moved to the left. She stopped, confused. She moved left, but then the hoop moved right. She continued going right, left, up, down, and as did the loop, but contradicting her movements. She let out a enraged scream, shouted an incantation and shot a Fixing Charm at the hoop. She flew towards it, and it didn't move. Why didn't she do that in the first place? Probably because she was too busy concentrating on what to say when she won the "race."

As Liviana moved towards the fourth hoop, she saw a flock of very angry-looking seagulls blocking it. When she drew nearer, they tried to attack her. Using the spell that helped her catch her unicorn during the first task, Liviana cried, "Immobilus!" and watched as they all froze in the air, their eyes furious that they missed their opportunity to strike. She flew through the hoop triumphantly.
She heard more and more students catching up to her, especially the Slytherin first year. She zoomed ahead to the next hoop.

Antoinette Machiavelli— Slytherin ; First Year The third hoop was like the previous one, there wasn't anything noticeably wrong with it. Antoinette wasn't going to fall for that again. She stopped a distance from the hoop and pointed her wand at it, but just hovered there. She wasn't sure what to do, but she wasn't going to just go rushing in. She looked at The Scowling-Senior, who was getting father, towards Antoinette's victory. In desperation, she threw caution to the wind and tried to fly through it. But just before the tip of her broom could get within five feet of the hoop, a loud screeching sound emitted from the direction of the hoop. ...A Caterwauling Charm...? Antoinette had stopped and hadn't moved, so the Caterwauling Charm was still going off. She had closed her eyes, the screeching was so loud it hurt her ears, but she couldn't move. Antoinette was becoming irritated. She pointed her wand at the hoop and tried to shriek louder than the Charm, "SILENCIO!" The screeching stopped immediately, but there was still a ringing in her ears. She didn't mind it though, because her mind (and eyes) were on Scowling-Senior.

Meiko continues to the 4th hoop quickly. The 4th hoop was surprisingly made out of a huge snake. Meiko shivers a bit as she pointed her wand at it. She almost lost her balance as the snake's head started to pound at her. She took a deep breath and said loudly. "Vipera Evanesca!"
Meiko swiftly went through as the snake was reduced into a pile of ashes. Meiko let out a sigh of relief as she went through it. Meiko hurriedly faced the next hoop. The 5th hoop was blocked by a huge brick wall, and she quickly pointed her wand at it and said. "Bombarda!"
As the wall was blasted and it's pieces scattered, to protect herself from the falling rocks, she said as she passed by the 5th hoop. "Protego!"
Instead of hitting her head, the rocks hit the protective shield she made instead.
Meiko grins as she sped at the next hoop not too far away.

The 6th hoop's challenge was to be attacked by a large flock of birds. As she was speeding towards the hoop, the birds swarmed at her. Meiko almost fell from her broom as the birds flew very fast at her, circling her.
Meiko raised her wand up and said. "Ventus!'
In an instant,the birds were blown away by a powerful gust of wind emitted from her wand. Meiko almost fell again because of the wind's force from her wand. Meiko quickly got through the 6th hoop and focused on the next hoop.

More students were joining in the fray, and so Liviana sped onto the fifth hoop. As she came closer, it emitted a deafening shrill screech, one that sounded almost as bad as Mermish. Liviana backed off enough to concentrate. She pointed her wand, and yelled, "Silencio," over the din. The unbearable noises stopped, and she flew through the hoop, smiling.

Coming up on the sixth hoop, Liviana noticed it was covered in fine, gossamer strands that glinted in the cold winter sun.Realizing there was no way she could get through without cutting whatever the thread was, she aimed her wand and cried, "Diffindo!" With a mighty slash made by an invisible sword, the hoop was cleared of its obstruction. Hundreds of tiny spiders crawled over the slit as Liviana flew through, ready to sew up her cut for the next student to try and pass though. Liviana shook her head, always surprised by nature. And she was halfway done!
