AHEM. This is not a common room or the great hall. Please stay focused. Now Zillah is busy for now due to her computer and all and college courses in real life. I shall substitute teach for the time being. Please take out your animals. I understand you have been working on Coleoptera? Well go on then! Let's see. We are having a quiz. I want to see your improvement.
Animal-teacup EDITED: GOBLET.-Coleoptera (changes it back ). Please change your animal into a GOBLET then work on the counter-curse, transforming it back.
I meant goblet. I was tired...for more details if you wish you can see a few posts down when i responded...

 I'll need a moment, Professor Sing. I promised xenorecor I would tutor him, as he's just arrived in the class. We'll go to the common room so we don't bother the other students. *She gets up, takes her bag, and walks out the door*

"Fera Verto."
*The bird morphs into a water goblet, I point my wand again at the cup and say's*
"Coleoptera."
*The water goblet morphs back into the bird*

Heart quickly walks in, taking her seat. She prepares herself for her task. Taking both her wand and bird out, she begins:
Tapping the bird three times with her wand, she whispers, "Fera Verto." Frowning slightly, the bird transforms into a goblet. Hope the goblet's okay...we never did teacups. Oh, and I thought Coleoptera was for only morphing things into beetles... Scratching her head and shrugging her shoulders, she whispers the next spell after tapping the rim of the cup twice. "Poculum Verto." The goblet turns back into a bird. "Coleoptera." The bird turns into a beetle.
The student carefully places the beetle onto her desk, watching it travel across the furniture.

Aludra Yvette... Aludra pointed her wand at the chirping bird in front of her. 'Fera Verto' she said clearly, paying careful attention to her pronounciation. The bird slowly morphed into a smaller sized water goblet. "Professor, is a goblet ok? We havent done tea cups yet." She pointed her wand back to the water goblet and muttered the counter curse, Coleoptera. The goblet sprouted feathers and tiny bird feet as it ran around her desk, slowly morphing back into a bird. ...6th Year Slytherin

Taking out a piece of parchment, Heart quickly scribbles something on it (Question: What is the difference between transfiguration and charms?). She then places the paper facedown onto her desk. She patiently waits for her classmates to also take the quiz.

The bird morphs into a cup, yet it was a golden, shining goblet instead of a teacup...
Professor?
Raises hand...
Does the same spell work for changing animals into any types of cups? Do I need to focus more on it being a tea pot, for it to change into one?

AHEM. Neravar. Goblet and teacup...quite similar. And no aludra, it is not my area of expertise. and if you MUST know, neravar. I am extremely busy in real life.
(The cops were chasing me the other day because I ran away from home. In real life. No lie. I had about 5 minutes to type this. I walked 3 miles in rain in pitch-black darkness on a side road, you do that, and then get your class teachings perfect. None too simple.)
SO. Why not cut the Headmistress a bit of slack, EH? Detention. Over pm. I shall message you.

And the difference between transfig and charms, i believe if I'm not MISTAKEN. *glares at nerevar as if daring him to contradict*
Is charms is essentially more general...well, transfiguration can be used for changing objects to something else, but charms are for the object already at hand. Please Zillah...have your courses lighten up soon... *leans head on desk*
