Finished the 012th Cycle now! 3nodding
Tifa... She's definitely my least favorite to play as. Her attacks could be better, yeah, but mostly I can't stand being almost all close-range. It's kind of sad, because she got the least exposure in the story, too. Speaking of, anyone else think they went a little heavy on Lightning? She's great and all, but she's center stage in the opening FMV, and [she and Warrior of Light take up about 90% of the FMV at the end of the 012th Cycle too, despite the fact that she really didn't do any more than the other five.]
Also, Kain's Jump? New favorite thing.

I'm so lost in Scenario 000 u.u I can't figure out where to go. Just clearing room after room XD
Edit:: Found my way! But I found Feral Chaos. o_O Scary shizznit. [[over 50k HP!!!! D: ]] I'm not sure if this is the last part of cycle 000, but it's definitely a challenge.
Edit2/Spoiler:: [[Just looked up some stuff. This is NOT the last form of Chaos we need to face. There's one afterwards that has over 125k HP at level 130. I have a feeling I'll be quite frustrated within the next few days...]]
Edit3:: Only 2 more rooms to clear before I'm done with Scenario 000. Can't handle the one I'm at right now though. D:
Edit4:: Scratch that, beat the room last night! On to the last one D: So scary
Edit5:: o________o On the final Feral Chaos. [[HP is over 125k.]] Kill me now please. u___u

So, what are everyone's favorite parts of the game, anyway?!
I haven't seen everything yet, but... there were a couple of scenes that aaaaaaaghhhhhh, I loved. Mainly the scene between Yuna, Tidus, and Jecht... When Laguna meets Cloud of Darkness... and when Gilgamesh first shows up. xd Especially Zidane's reaction, I think. I swear, lucky I was in anime club when I got to that scene, or everybody would think I was insane for laughing so much.

Another of my rants:
I seriously wonder if a sequel will happen. There are other Cycles of the battle. Duodecim is only the 12th Cycle, so what happened to the other ones?
If a sequel does happen, RINOA SHOULD BE IN IT!!!!
Seriously, she has some potential. Even though she fight with a blaster edge, Square can change and add a few things. They've created fighting styles for almost every character, why not Rinoa.
Here's my suggestion:
She could be some sort of graceful attacker. A main attack would obviously involve her shooting the blaster, but it's sharp, so she can slash up close, jump and fire away. Some spells would obviously be needed.
Regular HP attacks would involve her Combine limit break.
Angel Wing EX Mode. Because she goes into a berserk-mode in the actual game, add magic to all her attacks, and make the already existing spells stronger. EX Burst would involve the most powerful spells in FFVIII, with maybe a Sorceress related finisher.
End of rant.

And wow, storyline-wise, I'm not as interesting in playing Rinoa, but you've just made a really good argument for her fighting style. biggrin I especially love the EX Mode idea.
