ღ She had to glance at her shoulder, even though she saw the chain was in Gig's hands she had a brief wonder of how the heck he had grabbed that. Cocking her head she watched and covered her mouth once more with her sleeve. The explosion/dust was fierce compared to before.
River glanced at her chain then back at the wreckage. Seeing the potential River could not help but grin. Mayhem in the morning. "Epic!" Though she did not really acknowledge this, working with explosives was even more fun when she trained with her gunblades or magic.
She headed over to Mai and glanced back at Gig, and she spotted the stranger. ღ

"mmm....the old hag send you?" He knew the person was no threat because he dealt with him from time to time.
He was just standing there, clad in complete black. ".No today.....i represent....miss balalaika." He said with what seemed no motion in the slightest. The shadow from his hat covered his face in shadow.
Giglamesh eye would get wide with surprise, she actually sent somebody to him, meaning this was actually important. "Let us discuss this inside....river." Giglamesh would pick up my carrying her on his right side, she was tired so she slept against him. He would walk inside, and sit on the wrap around couch, which was also the kitchen table. He would kick a chair out for the stranger in black for him to sit. They also waiting for river before they began.
[after river sits.]
The stranger in black would throw a vanilla folder on the table. "This is a urgent mission, and Miss Balalaika would appreciate it if you accepted it. This is from miss balalaika directly "I want you to relay this to Mr Grimm exactly as i say it.... At 1800 yesterday Our forces intercepted a rendezvous with a bandit force out side of Midgar. This force for some time has been a ...major thorn in our side, as they continue to attack the slums raiding and doing as they please. The Intel we gathered suggests that A weapon dealer is going to make contact with them two days from now and supply them with a large supply of weapons. I know you wondering why this concerns you, well the way in which will interest you the most, is that this weapon dealer is actually a corporate backing of Shinra. there selling weapons to bandits out side of Midgar to further oppress the slums, make some change. there treating this as a illegal trade so they cannot be held responsible....this also means they cannot use militarized units. Because of that, while we would like to remove this thorn, cannot. So i ask you to stop this trade from happening, kill the weapon dealer, and whom ever you wish....i dont care. Everything else is up to you, just kill him nothing else matters to me.....but something else you should know...this weapons dealer....his name is Surgev....believe he was....once a acquaintance of yours, im SURE you would love a reunion with him. Ill be awaiting your confirmation from the stranger in black." ....That is was Miss Balalaika told me to tell you. All the info you need in within the file." He was sitting with his legs crossed hands on his knee, smiling behind his shades.
While he was talking he was going over then intel in the folder, and also showing some of the stuff to river so she would also know what was going on. But when giglamesh heard that name, his pupil would heavily dilute And he made a tight fist. To which he looked up at the stranger in black. "Mission accepted."
The man would stand. "Ahh very good to hear, the job is from balalaika so naturally its very important, and difficult. Of course high risk, will come with appropriate....compensation." He would bow and begin walking to the door. "Ill let my self out.....and i must say....your daughter is growing in to quite the cute young lady good day." He would step out the door and close it.
Giglamesh didnt trust the stranger in black, but nobody did, he was always just a relay. But he hated it when he mention anything about maiyuri, but cause it would feel as if he was threatening giglamesh. Which if that was the case everybody already had a report of the last time shinra tried kidnapping mai. The entire unit was brutally murdered and left out in the open on shinras front door impaled on flag poles as a warning to all whom try. Giglamesh would look down at mai for a moment, then to river. "Riv....go get some rest....we will depart for the red sands tonight, so we can arrive at the rendezvous tomorrow. Before we go ill give you a Briefing on how we will go about this mission....go rest up." Giglamesh would take mai, which was starting to wake up, outside to go play with her for a bit. It wasnt even noon, so they would have a decent amount of time to get ready, but this was how he got ready. to spend time with her encase the worse did happen.

ღ River read the info that was directed towards her. Being able to read fast, she caught everything. Seeing the reaction she glanced over to Gig and raised a silent question with her eyebrow. Apparently that was someone he knew. She sat back quietly and watched the stranger leave. "... ok..." Gathering her chain she went to her room and placed it on the table. She then grabbed some fresh clothes so she could go clean up before taking the mid day nap. She would probably sleep the rest of the day, both her mind and body were bedding for sleep. Once back to her room, in just a simple tee-shirt and shorts, she found her monkey music player. Yawning she pulled out the headphones and placed it by her pull out bed. Switching to a new playlist she pulled her blanket over her head and crawled into bed. Hope the grenades will be of some help with this new mission. She thought excited. ღ

[10 hours pass]
Giglamesh is walking threw the slums, nearly at the exit gates of midgar. Casket on his back, hat down low, river no where in sight. Giglamesh already had a few plans set in motion for the mission, guns ready, mai safe with old woman. All the safteys set on the RV. Giglamesh had the part of the mission he needed to remember heavy on his mind. River didnt seem to be with him, as he came to the opening of midgar's gates the out side ground was just and destroyed and damaged as inside. Pollution and shinra's massive city was taking its tole on the world, yet it was still there home. A home for the time being he would have to part from, as he walked out of the Midgar city hiking torwards the red sands.

Giglamesh would enter midgar's slums once again with river following, and fuzzy behind in tow carrying a large number of massive crates full of weapons. They were not going to there typical direction home however. They were heading threw the old mostly abandoned district of the slums that was to distraught from the multiple battles for people to live. They would head threw the maze of damaged buildings. The entire time it would feel as if they were being watched. Finally they came to a bulding that had fallen over but did not hit the ground was was acting almost like a large canape. Under the canape was a tunnel lit with fire that went down deeper. As they were walking it would take a moment for river, and fuzzy to realizes there were several soldiers walking along side them escorting them, despite giglamesh being the one that lead the way. The path seemed to be a building that was laying on its side, with disorienting doors that were sideways. Finally they would come in to a large room six soliders on either side and at the far side of the room to the entrance sat another on a throne. Giglamesh would stop, as he did the multiple knight soliders would salute. Then giglamesh would advance to the middle of them room with out saying anything and he would kneel on his left knee right fist to the ground.
The woman In a suit, but she had more scars on her body then even giglamesh had, sitting in the chair would drop her salute as the man knelled and she would sti back down smoking a cigar. "Ahh wery good Mr. Riiper. I take it zen the mission vas complete success? Ohh and i see jou brought our supplies a** vell, how kind of you." She smiled very devilishly.
Giglamesh would stand quickly. "Woah woah fry face...what do you mean your supplies!" She was going to try and take the supplies he had stolen fair and square....granted he was going to sell them to her, still he wanted some money out of it.
She would take a big hit of the cigar, the glowing red cherry would light up her burned right side of face better. Despite the scars her eyes glowed a beautiful blue just like giglamesh. "Dont mees judge my kindness Mr Riiper...had you asked the full details ov de man in blak he vould of told you, de submission was retrieval of de veapons. You have brought them tinking to get paid jesh? Vell you shall, just not ze amount you thought. But Please do not think of zis as getting a "Intense a** ******** more az this looks verdy good on your part from bringing zem to us. Ve shall not pay you the amount you desired...but ve shall remember you did zis."
Giglamesh clenched his teeth and wanted to say alot, but he knew she was real shady and would get rid of anybody she didnt think she needed, faster then dumping the browns off at the super bowl. "Well then perhaps we could....get some of these weapons at a...lets say discount. I have need for alot of it three of the machines guns for new gunblades for river, two mgl for myself that all i ask."

ღ River glanced around, curious as she slowly followed Gig. Mildly paying attention to the people around her, she was interested in the structure. River saw Gig kneel and blinked surprised. She kept quiet hearing the banter until Gig talked about keeping some of the weapons. "Hey! I worked freaking hard for those damnit. I don't see why we have to give most of this stuff away like this... At least me get the grenades man." She said walking over to him she put her hands on her hips baffled at how meek he was being. Who the heck was this lady? She thought annoyed. ღ

Giglamesh would start to turn and river to tell....well to shut the hell up. but he never got the chance to say anything.
Balalaika just point her left index finger up, the next thing known was one of balalaika's knights was holding a pole arm blade to giglamesh throat, keeping him from saying anything. Balalaika would stand and walk towards river slowly, the sound of her heels clacking would echo threw out the room. "Vhats dis? you tink you have earned de Granados? Vell i have got to say, youve have got quite de pair of ballz. Yet....i cannot give you deze granados ...so sordie." She would stand in front of river and cross her left arm to hold up her right elbow holding her right arm up cigar in it wrist bent back as she looked down at river, she was actually pretty tall.
Giglamesh got a extremely pissed off look in his eye. "Balalaika dont tch!!!" The solider knight would press the blade up against his neck tighter as if threatening him to shut up. from inside his full helm two eye glowed a beautiful intense blue, he was also a solider.

ღ River scoffed and glanced up at the woman. She acknowledged the knight's speed... Probably just under Gig's level; which would mean this woman was probably unfathomably strong... She thought, but River would not back down. "Oi Lady, if you wanted the weapons so badly you could have gotten them yourself, or sent one of these guys. But we did the work, so we should get first dibs, and most of the spoils." She said stubbornly taking her hands off her hips then crossing them irritated. ღ

Balalaika would walk over closer, then slowly reach he hand, then once close enough her hand was like a vice grabbing river by her throat and picking her up. Just the grasp of her hand showed she was much stronger then giglamesh physically. Though despite she was picking her up by her throat and choking her some, it was not enough to keep her from speaking.
Blade at his throat or not giglamesh began to move to try to get her to release her grasp of river. But before he could get a inch 4 more knights appeared, one with a massive great sword to his neck, matching the others polearm much like scissors. One Pushed a bo staff over his back, but over the tops of his elbows, keeping him from moving his arms. One put the point of a huge lance to the back of his head pushing him slightly at the scissored blades at his neck. One had wrapped his right leg tight with a chain. They knew to the point his rage could take him, and even though they were stronger they had to treat him at all times like a threat because of his unpredictable rage. "Leave her out of this!"
Balalaika would look back at giglamesh for a moment then back to river, still holding her in the air by her throat. "I tink ill pass...now girl....give me a rezaon vhy i shud give you de granados?" She looked at her face closely with a crazed look, she had the squinting eyes of a killer much like giglamesh, and simply looking her in the face and how she spoke was extremely intimidating. She continued to hold river up by her neck, and restricting breathing but not cutting it off completely, it was more to intimidate and pick her up.

ღ River froze and lowered her arms feeling a harsh; almost demonic aura wrap around her freezing her in place. She glared at the woman, her eyes now narrow slits; as she forced herself to not panic. "As I said... we earned em..." She said and sighed adding, "Honestly? I love the smell of gunpowder in the morning... and I had my heart set on using them with my new weapon. Maybe learn how to recreate some of the spell ones... With them, I can be strong; slaughter all in my way." Using her nade chain with those spell nades would be super awesome; knock back any foe. Her inner spirit was all like Hellz ya! Showing a fire in her eyes. ღ

Balalaika would close her eyes, and bite her bottom lip. She would drop river by opening her hand and lean forward laughing hysterically. "To be strong and to slauder eh?" She would return to laughing hysterically the fire the lite the room seemed to make her shadow in to a cackling demon on the wall above. "Dis one will go plases...Ok girl you can dake sum....i vill keep de gale granados, and half de netro granados.....you can take rest...now leave." Balalaika would turn and walk back to her chair her heels clacking echoing threw the large room once again.
The knights would back off away from giglamesh and walk back to where they stood before. Giglamesh was actually bleeding from his neck ever so slightly. He was actually beings pushed against to keep him i check yet it still did not work. He was surprised that balalaika release her, but giglamesh would hold out his right hand. "Thats fine.....but i want my money..." He was dead serious when he said it also. A knight would toss him a bag of gold, and he would catch it with his right hand.
Balalaika sat there seemingly glaring at giglamesh."Is der any ting else you vish to beg for?" "How about a hooker?" Giglamesh said with a big smile on his face, a few of the nights would laugh from his response also.Balalaika did no find the comment funny and she just continued to glare at him as he stood there putting gold in his pocket.
"Yeah......tough crowd....later"He would grab the three p90's and shove them in to river's arm, grab the two grenade launchers, and finally the tray of the twenty grenades, ten incendiary grenades, and five nitro grenades. And quickly scoot out of the room before balalaika changed her mind. Waiting outside the door for river and fuzzy to follow. He put the opened the case for his rifle he had hidden on his back and out the nades in it so he didnt have to carry the, and waited fro river.

ღ River was released and when she landed she was thankful for the grace of landing on both feet and blinked surprised as the woman burst out laughing. She raised an eyebrow and heard the ok she grinned widely and said, "Epic! She couldn't wait to test these new grenades against a new enemy.She kept the wide grin on her face until her brother's idiot comment. With a sigh she rolled her eyes and glanced at him. The next thing she knew she had three p90's shoved at her and he was leaving the room. "Oi! Wait for me!" She said giving the lady a small nod she hurried after Gig.
Out in the hall She held out the guns hoping they would be put in the case as well. "Think we can go shopping now?" She asked. ღ

As she caught up to him and asked him a question, his only reply was a open palm to the side of her head pushing he head against the wall. He would keep her pinned to the wall and step up looking at her very closely in the face. "I don't know why but for some reason by the grace of god, she didn't kill you. I know how you feel but you cannot be like that around Balalaika...As you jut saw she is as unstable as he is strong. Ever one of those ex-SOLIDER units are just as crazy strong as her. She would of killed us, and enjoyed it, and gone back to smoking like nothing happened. I know you dont like it but if i take you to see her again....IF ....try to ...not say anything. She is a large business partner and he give dangerous jobs, but she pays even better for them. Think of it this way....if you talk to her again....you might not get any money from her to go shopping." Giglamesh would release her, he had to hit her like that to be completely clear with her that he could not be like that around balalaika because she was so unstable. Giglamesh would toss a bag of gold at her. Giglamesh would also look back at fuzzy. "And....to you thank you, i might not of lived had you not jumped in when you did. While you did not come in to the fight until late, ill will get you anything you need."
Fuzzy was kind of surprised by the event that unfolded, of giglamesh hitting river as he did, but made himself clear. Fuzzy a well could sense the massive blood lust in the room, and on top of that he could feel each of those knights were extremely strong. But then as gig thanked him he would up his front right pas waving it as he said no. "Your welcome...and thank you for the offer...but you keep it, treat it as payment for eating the food maiyuri sneaks to me."
Giglamesh was kind of surprised, but he knew mai snuck him food. "As you wish..." Giglamesh would put a bit more in to rivers sack, still giving him self more then her. Giglamesh would then begin to walk again, he was still carrying two grenade launchers prototypes. As well as a suite case full of grenades, right now he was a walking target, full of hot merchandise. "Lets hurry and dump this s**t off." Giglamesh would begin walking out of the abandoned district back towards there district.

ღ River blinked surprised and shrunk back as tears formed. Her words caught in her throat and just stood there trying not to burst into tears. He had a point, she had felt the chill in the air earlier; that woman was scary strong; and there was something in her eyes that had frightened her. If River were truthful to herself, she had been surprised that she had gotten out of there unscathed, but things had worked out for the good.
She kept quiet and caught the bag as she wiped away a traitorous tear that had fallen. She clung to the weapons in her arms and marched ahead turning the hurt to anger. She just wanted to go home now.ღ

He saw the tear....but acted like he didnt. He was right, and thats all there was to it, but still seeing her mope after the way he handled it. He tried to keep walking trying to get it out of his mind,.....as if. "Oi...Ok i went a bit over ok. Still....you know full well if she would of done something to you, i would of tried to protect you, and got both my self and you killed....then poor mai would be all alone...do you want maiyuri to be alone? No so there ya go....Regardless....those weapons you have, if you were listening i ...well im sure you do to, would like you to make those in to the new bases of your gunblades. Pretty much recraft them around those guns. Your 9mm just don't see to have enough kick to them, so those 5.7x28mm rounds plus im willing to bet its a three round burst so your damage gun wise could climb dramatically. As well as....well i dont know how youll go about it....but youll have to come with me to see sarael.....we got a good amount of money for a while so...id like you to also spread your magic horizon...perhaps take up a new element,as well a take a look at some blades to see if you get a idea of how youll create you new gb's." Giglamesh just continued to walk with river and fuzzy in tail. He was going to take excess back to the rv, but take one gl to decide what he was going to make his in to.
