Ten years was long...but not that long for a vampire.
"Are you all anti-killing like she is?" Well he wanted to know who this guy was...and who Luna surrounded herself with.
That and Casper thought it was interesting to see the inner workings of Vampire society...something he sadly couldn't do as a hunter.
The idea that some vampires strayed away from their nature, was very interesting indeed.

Luna had made it to the store without incident and stepped inside, she didn't know what Casper's tastes were but she figured a little bit of everything was ok... So she picked out a shirt from each genre of style and a couple of pairs of jeans, went to the front, paid for them excetera. All that jazz.
Once all that was finished she grabbed the three bags and walked out of the store just as a group of people crossed the street on the way to the park. The faint swish of well oiled chain mail reached her ears and she just stared into the distance after the group. If she had a heart beat it would have picked up a notch as she had just narrowly avoided an entire group of vampire hunters.... What the hell were they doing out in such a large group?

 Salem nodded, aside from his blind rages he was very against violence and killing and all that jazz. But he didn't have as much of a problem with it as Luna did. The fact that she hadn't kicked the newborn out for killing someone in her house still baffled him a little. "Luna is a pacifist, she is the one who came up with the ideas of getting our blood from blood drives so we wouldn't have to go out killing people, she doesn't like violence."

"Okay" Casper said with a tone that could only lead up to more speech. "but I already know that. What I'd like to know," He said shruging a little before looking into Salem's eyes, "is whether or not you, kill people."
Casper did not sugar coat things!
He didn't know what he would do exactly if Salem was actually like a crazed killer, but he wanted to know nonetheless!

Hadn't he nodded? Salem was pretty ******** sure he had nodded in answer to this kids question. He looked at Casper with a bit on contempt, kind of an your an idiot for not catching my nod, look. "No." he said, yeah. Only when he was very extremely pissed, but he didn't count that....
He sighed, Luna sure did though. He was pretty sure that she couldn't be mean to anyone, but that one of the only reasons she kept him around was because of the fact he was such an asset to the team. "Why do you wanna know?" he shot back.

"Okay Chris, Kayla, you guys stick around the park and see if our newborn comes looking for another meal. Kevin, Evan and I will continue our search up until the eighties."
And with that Sarah and her two followers ventured out of the park quickly and crossed the street back to the more public an industrialized side.
"Sarah, 5 'o clock."
Sarah's pupils followed the direction and found a tiny little blond vampire with her hands full of shopping bags. Sarah nodded and Evan motioned some hand signals below his hip. They knew they had to dispose of her. No vampire could ever really be trusted.
That and they didn't want her to run away before they could attack. And soooo, the dart gun would be used.
Evan left the group and neared and entered an alleyway. Sarah and Kevin stepped closer to Luna but kept a short distance. They were going to herd her into the ally.
Sarah took out a small device from her pocket and brought it to her lips. It looked sort of like a whistle, but when she belw it, it sent out a poison needle.
It hit one of Luna's bags and with that Kevin darted behind the blond vampire and began his chase and his strategy to lure her to Evan.

"Because I want to know if Luna's just really weird or if she isn't alone in this pacifistic regime." Well okay that made sense. "I mean, if I can't fight the urge to kill people and take their blood, I just want to make sure I don't have some sort of problem."
He was lying through his teeth...but hey, it was a good lie. It made sense, especially because Salem wouldn't have any idea Casper already knew about vampire prior to being turned into one.

Luna looked down as she heard the sound of ripping and saw the needle embedded in her bag. Which meant, that group of hunter's had managed to identify her, although how she wasn't sure. So, playing it cool was not an option. Rapidly approaching footsteps behind her however alerted her to another member of the group. So, she did what was natural. She ran, dropping her bags on the side walk, which she would hopefully be back to collect later. How had they known!?!? That was something she would have to figure out because, it was very annoying. If she could get away... but due to the fact there were people on the street, suddenly dissapearing from sight in a blur of speed was not an option, and obviously they had means to hit her from a distance. So she figured her best bet was to high tail it through the alley. There was a group earlier, but she only saw two now, and that was how they usually hunted... so she took the chance and turned into the ally.

"No, most vampires can't resist the urge to kill. I can't either all the time..." he confessed "Your normal, it's Luna that's weird in this specific scenario, and me too I suppose... She just doesn't... hurt things." he said, a hint of awe laced in his voice.

She was running straight for Evan, just as they had hoped really. Sarah and Kevin chased after her till they too reached the ally.
Evan was in the center of the ally way and he was counting on the velocity of Luna's run to propel her at him where, knife ready, he could stab her in the face or the head.
Either one would work really.
Sarah blew the dart again, this time the needle whizzing past Luna's head.
Evan leapt off his spot on the ground and went to pounce Luna with the knife.

So she did surround herself with generally non violent people. Well actually being non violent had nothing to do with killing humans. Had she acquired a group of people that strayed from traditional vampire values?
But still, Salem admitted it himself, he still killed people time to time for whatever reason.
Another reason no vampire was veery true clean.
"Hm, who would have though?" Casper didn't have much to add on but he figured he'd ask some stuff.
"Luna was telling me about vampire hunters." Lie. "What like, should I be worried about them? What do most vampires do regarding the hunters?"
He was partially curious, but really he wanted to ensure his troop's safety.

Luna saw Evan and cursed her stupidity. How the hell had she not seen that coming?! It was like time slowed down as her whole vampire instinct thing kicked in. She could hear the intake of breath that the female had taken to blow the dart long before it whizzed by her head. What did she do? Jumping over him wasn't an option, turning back wasn't either, and killing him... Luna didn't want to do that either. Her little training session with Casper flashed through her head.... would that work?
All this ran through her head before the dart had a chance to make it to her. She sighed and jumped, towards the wall closest to the guy in front of her, and executed perfectly the move that Casper had shown her. Cool thing was, brick walls left a marvelous pile of rubble. Which she had no problem directing towards the guy, successfully managing to nail him in the knee. Then, she just escaped through the massive hole in the wall. She was out the building before anyone could blink had grabbed her bags and was gone, all in less than 3 seconds. All anyone would see... was nothing actually, they would just feel a breeze as she passed.

It wasn't unusual to see vampires do some extraordinary things with their bodies....but you NEVER ******** saw that!
Sarah stood there in shock long after Luna had fled. Kevin had immediately gone to help Evan who was thankfully okay save for some bruises and a knee injury.
"Did you see that?" Sarah asked airily. Evan, who wasn't even paying attention to his injury at this point just nodded.
"How did she? How did she know how to do that?"
Kevin bit his lip. That was not normal. That was not normal at all. A vampire hunter's fighting style was virtually unknown to anyone other than a vampire hunter. It didn't even resemble any other fighting style. So how did that girl execute a classified arial kick?
Sarah shook her head in disbelief.
"That was Casper's step, he made that one up himself...we're the only troop that does that step!" She had screamed at the end of it because now she knew something was very wrong with Casper wherever he was.

Salem scowled at the mention of vampire hunters. "Most vampires just avoid them. Not many want to go and search out those ******** inbred pains in the a**." someone didn't like hunters, someone also knew that you could only be born into vampire hunting. "If you run into run you have two options, you run, or you kill them. Cause they will kill you without a-" he turned to hear the door open and close and a windswept Luna walk into the house with a bunch of bags of clothes.

"Salem you need to see this." she said as she entered the house. Dropping the bags on the table and pulling the dart that had been shot at her out of the bag it had landed in. "What-" "Just take it home and figure out how it works." she said shortly, very unraveled by her encounter.
Salem, thankfully, stood up without another word and left. He knew that if there were hunters around that his home would be the safest place to be.
Luna sighed and looked at Casper with a tired smile. "I got you some clothes."
