Alex was kind of weirded out by Mina. Oh well. He notched another arrow and shot at his target, he too split his, err, Arianna's arrow, just as Arianna did. "You're really good," Alex told her. "I can certainly tell you practice. How long have you been shooting?" He asked before splitting yet another arrow. He didn't remember ever being this good of an archer. Come to think of it, he had never done this well before. Sure he could hit the target, but this was new for him...

"thanks, I've been practicing since I was old enough to hold a bow." Arianna said tucking her long hair behind her ear and shot an arrow, splitting all of Alex's arrows. "Your also very skilled with a bow and arrow."

"Yeah I was never this good until today. Very weird...." Alex said as he yet again split the arrow in the center of the target. "Very, very, very weird..."

"maybe your a son of Apollo," Arianna said shrugging, then she split his arrow.

"Yeah," Alex said brightening, "Maybe I am!" With that he split the arrow and it went right through the target. After the arrow went through a figure of the sun appeared over his head.
Alex didn't notice at first, but then a strange feeling overcame him and he realized that he had been claimed. "Woah" was all Alex could muster.

"You're good," Alex said grinning at Arianna. "Do you mind if we postpone this competition for later? I want to go tell Chiron and then move my things into the Apollo Cabin. You can come if you want."

Imagination and duct tape can solve more than you give it credit for. Kattie saw that Jake wasn't looking to happy, so she headed towards where Arianna and Alex were. She saw something over Alex's head. Was it a sun? Kattie looked a little longer and realized it was. Wait, that must mean, ALEX WAS CLAIMED! Son of Apollo. Kattie sprinted foward. Another person claimed, wow!

"I think it was Posiedon's cabin, because of that stupid comment yesterday," Jake said.

"thanks, so are you. Yea we can postpone the competition, sure I'd love to come with you, I've always wanted to see what the Apollo cabin looked like." Arianna said ginning back.

((No problem, I just got on too.))
Alex saw Lizzie, Jake, and Kattie standing together as he was looking for Chiron with Arianna. Kattie looked happy for him. Lizzie was deep in conversation with Jake and didn't seem to notice... Lizzie, she was going to be sad when she found out. Alex was her only friend left in the Hermes Cabin, everyone else had been claimed. Still, he new she'd be claimed someday, and he was sure she knew that too.

Lizzie nodded, trying to be convincing, "You're probably right. Maybe I could snoop around and see what I can find out. In the meantime.... Great Gods! Alex! Over your head.... what... You're claimed."
Lizzie felt 50 emotions at once. She was lonely, she was happy, she was sad, she was angry. She decided to go with neutral and just stopped talking.

Jake looked to see what Lizzie was talking about. Then, he saw the sun fading from above Alex's head. He'd been claimed. Jake felt total surprise on his face.

(Eh, all of the symbols work! Now I'm gonna wind back time and descibe the inside of Cabin Sixteen, probably because you guys are crazy posting animals. Four pages I had to read! Four!)
Nari pushed back the blue curtain to peer inside, and lost her breath. She walked in and stared at the elegent cabin before her.
The floor was lapis lazulie, with silver pictures on it. They changed and shifted, coming to pool around her and Alex's feet, dancing with images and words.
Alex laughed as the ribbons slid to form a sun with Alex in the middle, then float away to revolve in a complex star around Nari. She was too busy to notic, though, already looking on to the rest of the cabin.
The walls were blue, silver, pale gold, and white, tastfully done in a way that only the Aphrodite could. the windows were wide and shades by thin white curtains. Four full beds lined the walls, two on each side, done in blue sheets and white curtains hanging from the mahogany four-poster bed. At the end of the row was a silver spiral stair case wroght with images in the railing in a aclove. On either side was a closet with a double door. Nari ran off to poke her head in each door.
From the one on the left she yelled, "It's a closet! a big one!"
She ran and stuck her head in the other, with the floor drawings following her like a lost puppy, shouting, "I got a... woo! I got my own sunken bath!" Nari whooped and ran up the staircase.
"Woh. You gotta see this Alex." He came up the staircase into a stone room. It was nothing but gray stone and comferable blue, white, gold, and silver pillows strone around the room. It seemed to serve no perpose.
Nari frowned. "What does this do?" she said, and pulled a small tassle by the staircase. She pulled it, and with great creaking and snapping of roaps, the doamed celing started folding on itself, opening up to show the sky. Within a moment, Nari and Alex were standing on a open-sky opservatory, surrounded by a low stone railing.
"Wow," Nari murmered. "Look at those stars!" They twinkled in the sky, smiling down below.
"I'm home," she said simply.
(Back to the futer! Oh, and can we somewhat limit the crazy posting? Lets lower it to three pages a day, shall we?)

((Sorry, we got carried away, although this is an improvement over yesterday!!))
Alex was happy, yet felt a bit awkward with Kattie hugging him. It caught him totally off gaurd. He was very worried about Lizzie, which probably only made things worse. When Kattie let go, he said, "Thanks, do you want to come help us find Chiron?"

Lizzie walked up to Alex, "Congratulations, I am happy for you." She paused, then said, " Do you want some help finding Chiron and settling into your new cabin?"

Alex felt relieved, Lizzie wasn't going to throw a tantrum. "I'd be happy to have your help."

Imagination and duct tape can solve more than you give it credit for. Kattie blushed as she let go. She didn't know why she would hug Alex like that. The impulse just took over. She looked up and looked around, as if she would find Chiron that easily.

Jake walked over to Alex. "Son of Apollo, nice," he said.
